I went to get vaccinations. After spending 200 and 100 dollars respectively I try to take my dog to a daycare, but they need a flu vaccination. Which wasn’t included in my package. I went to you guys expecting to be taken care of. Expecting for you to have knowledge of the vaccinations needed, but I was sorely disappointed

Shop all the time for my new puppy and love doing trainings with Danielle, The store is always clean and well stocked and I have never had an issue with any of the staff! Highly recommended

That was very knowledgeable and helped pick out a muscle that works perfectly for my dog without knowing is actual size just based on his breed. Also the cats available to adopt are well taken care of and have clean enclosures

⚠⚠⚠ DO NOT BUY A CHAMELEON FROM HERE: IT WILL SUFFER AND DIE ⚠⚠⚠Poor girl was already suffering when we bought her, and didn't even last a month. We fed her horn worms (she loved them) and crickets dipped in calcium inside a custom built enclosure with plenty of space, plants, warmth, sunlight and moisture. She suffered from a pre-existing calcium deficiency and held on as long as she could. She passed away at the bottom of her enclosure, after a week of being unable to move.

They quote you $57 for a groom and wash. Turns out there is some small print in the waiver you sign including a standard $6 materials fee that the staff does not mention at any point. It was frustrating that they didn’t include that in the quote. Sneaky. The cut itself is fine, except for the face. I’ll have to fix it myself. Very disappointing experience. Will go elsewhere next time.

The store is clean. Location is perfect. Ample parking. Fish variety were slim due to covid. There were no apparent measures taken to ensure safety of customers in terms of distancing reminders etc etc. I was a little annoyed with the staff. They made assumptions about the quality or my water and another made assumptions that I was putting tetras in a betta tank. Weird vibes. I’ll most likely be back cause it’s the most convenient. We will see.

Went into Petco today to purchase dog food. my 5-year-old child needed to use the restroom so we walked towards the back and noticed their signs on both restrooms stating no public use restrooms. I am 33 years old and I've been going there since the location opened I have never seen this at any Petco. There is no reason any customer should track down employees to have a bathroom unlocked especially when you have a child that needs to use the restroom. And then I catch the employees talking about how they only do it for December. I am completely against this there is no reason the restrooms should be locked to the public. Have you ever seen the movie Big Daddy? If the employee wasn't kind enough to unlock the door which she had the wrong key for the wrong bathroom wasting more time when a 5-year-old needed to use the restroom when it should have been unlocked in the first place I was just going to Big Daddy it. Fix this problem there's no reason the restrooms should be locked I am completely dissatisfied.

This is the worst "pet" store the only thing pet is the "manager" Kim. She is rude disgusting and has ZERO customer service skills. Every single one of the fish tanks had dead fish. And not just one but at least 3 to 5 per tank. She began to scream at me and tell me that the customer is not right, the sotee staff is always right. NEVER COME TO THIS STORE AND SPEND MONEY TO SUPPORT TOOTHLESS METH ADDICTS THAT RUN THIS STORE!!!! WOULD GIVE ZERO IF I COULD!!

I received very good assistance on purchasing two parakeets live wanted to buy for a long time, but was hesitant. I was assured that within the 30 days if they become ill or somethings wrong, I can simply exchange them or take them to get veterinary care.

Cashier was friendly, the manager was meh- I understand her hands were tied but she could use some better customer service handling skills- but really the review given is for the store return policy forcing me to have to get store credit even though I had the receipt and was within the 30 day time frame. Now I have a bunch of store credit for a store I don’t want to give more money to.

Kathleen is an excellent dog groomer! She made my little Pomchi look like a king—he was so handsome! What impressed me even more was her ability to work with such a scared, shaking, little pup (who likes to nip sometimes when he’s scared) and earn his trust. He never nipped at her! I was so impressed!

This isn't my favorite Petco simply bc they have a huge store with a bunch of employees that are too busy on their phones to say hello. I might go here to get pet supplies but they are not a place I would buy a pet.

Tried bringing my dog in to get her nails clipped, and evrytime I get in there they have a sign up not taking walk ins. Doesn't matter the time of day that sign is always up when I bring her in. Petsmart never has a sign up saying that so I will take her there everytime now.

My daughter has this new 6 gallon fish tank in her room and she enjoys it! You can fit a little bit of fish in the tank and as well as decorations. My daughter enjoys the lights how they change colors and you can also turn off the light it makes a little noise, but it not very loud. The filter works pretty good. Warranty for the fish is 15 days. Already had to use it for one guppy that died. Will definitely go back if we need more fish.

My dog died yesterday and it is possible I could have saved her if the doctors would have listened to me instead of being money hungry. I told him my dog had a ball in her stomach and I paid for a checkup, and vaccinations for 2 dogs. I saw him check her stomach and he said nothing but that’s why I had her checked out. According to the er vet doctor her spleen ruptured and it killed her only 6 years old chihuahua mix. 2 weeks ago I could have admitted her to er to work on it immediately but no he bypassed that and took my money and didn’t put anything on the paperwork about the mass or ball in her stomach. I am so broken hearted. Gracie is gone!

If no stars were an option I would have chosen that thanks to Caitlin (the fish patrol). Trying to buy a few fish should not be a difficult task. Unfortunately it became one within seconds of asking for assistance in getting them. Instead of just getting us what we asked for, Caitlin decided to refuse to get us any of our selections and treated us like like idiots. She was beyond unprofessional and rude. It’s too bad that she made it such an unpleasant experience. I’ll never return to the store again.

I placed an order for 2 bags of dog food online and petco called door dash to have it delivered because it was not in our town well when it was delivered the picture only showed one bag delivered we called petco to ask how many bags were picked up and the midvale manager told us she wasnt able to tell us how many bags were picked up? Funny that the people over her was able to tell us that 2 bags were picked up the door dash guy only delivered one.. so either the manager was in on that theft or the door dash guy stole a bag, these bags were going to someone who needed dog food for her dogs because she was homeless and needed food for her dogs.. well needless to say i will never purchase anything online from petco Midvale Utah

I’ve been coming here for couple years, never had any problems with staff or management. Until I spoken with the manager Victoria. As someone who is the manager, I never seen someone so annoyed to help her employees and the customers out. While rushing out the office she started speaking with attitude towards the questions I had about the pet food I was trying to purchase. Instead of assisting and listening to the questions, she repeatedly told me “there’s nothing we can do, we don’t know anything and you need to just call customer service to ask them the questions you have” as I’m trying to speak, she rudely interrupts over and over. Then tries to get into my face as I didn’t hear her, when she’s standing behind the counter which isn’t wide range between employee and customer. I wasn’t going to entertain that behavior, so I left. If anything, Victoria should work on her management skills as I’m sure this situation and other future situations that occur could be handled in a more professional approach instead of a poorly unprofessional one.

Victoria could not have been less helpful. Tried to buy prescription dog food, that we have a current prescription for from OUR vet. They refused to sell it to us without a current card from THEIR vet? It seemed lucky that their vet office was open, so we went over to get a card like they asked. The vet had no idea what they were talking about and couldn’t get us a card because they are “vaccinations only” the vet even walked up to the counter with us and was also confused why they refused to sell us food. Ended up not getting any food, and Victoria tried telling us to feed our dog non-prescription food in the mean time, doesn’t seem like great pet store advice.

My babies getting ready for their walk with the new harnesses I just picked up. Very great quality and the dogs were super comfortable in them. We also picked up a few toys during our trip, and as always the doggies loved them!

I took my sweet anxious dog in to get groomed this morning, and Jace was beyond amazing. He really took the time to work with my dog, make him feel comfortable, and had all of the patients to make sure my dog was given the best care there was. Seriously, thank you so much Jace for accepting my dog even when he was scared. Sinner and I appreciate you so so much. You’re truly an angel and spectacular at what you do! We will definitely come see you again soon to say a special thanks to you. I wish there were more people in the world like you! You’re the best Jace, thank you thank you thank you!!!

They made me pass my credit card two times and they say only one transaction went through. My credit card shows both transactions went through. They would not do anything about it. They said to call my bank.

This place is always clean and there are always people willing to help. They could use more people at the registers though, whenever I am here I always have to wait a bit in line. The prices here are pretty ridiculous too, but I appreciate that they are good products. I’m usually asked if I need help while in the store.

This place is terrible. 5 separate occasions I have gone there for tropical fish and on all of them they have been unable to sell them due to staffing issues. Their answer is to turn off all lights when they can't sell them. Yep, fish don't need light. Meanwhile condition of tanks is deplorable. Dead fish everywhere and way overstocked since they don't ever sell them. Animal cruelty anyone? I am telling everyone and will never be back.

It wasnot a pleasant experience because I found out terrible news about my pet. However the attendees were very cordial with me and my pet. I was sad to learn however that there is not staff there all the time, as I thought at least from the opening time of 9am til maybe 4 or 5pm.
