New owner and brand new managers have made our favorite vacation spot better than ever!! We were greeted as we checked in with sincere smiles and energy that just made you want to have a great day!! The attention to detail around the park was very evident. Great RV Park and we would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet and very scenic view from the comfort of your RV or patio. Also, lots of trails right out of the park!! The new managers are the best - so very friendly and engaging!! We love the South Forty and hope to be able to keep coming back for many years. We highly recommend!!

This year's visit was our second to this park. Last year was a fair experience and the staff were fair and decent to work with. This year's visit was over the top and amazing. Jake and Kasey were both overly friendly and worked tirelessly to keep the place in top condition. Our party rented a cabin while myself and another party booked the camp sites. From what I saw of the cabin, it was spotless and top condition as well as the camp sites. I can't wait to visit again.

The new managers of this park are fantastic! They are so kind and make the park a great place to stay! They work extremely hard to make your stay uneventful in every way. I have been coming to SouthForty for many years and enjoy the area and park. Thanks to the new owner and great managers for a continued fantastic experience. My son has stayed in one of their cabins and said they are very nice!

We spent eight days with family and friends over the Fourth of July. This was an outstanding experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, the facilities were super clean, and at night was super quiet. My only growth opportunity was we were hoping to have a more accessible RC track for our group to use. The sign that said “RC cars only” posted was an incredibly overgrown area that was not suitable for running our RC cars. Would love to see that updated as it was advertised on the website. Otherwise, we had a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back.Rooms: Parking and empty sites were graded daily by staff. The entire facility was super clean.Nearby activities: Great access to trails, reservoir swimming and town.

New owners and fantastic managers and employees. They were amazing. Our dogs love the dog park, and the managers want to make it even better. Internet has improved. We've met the nicest people there. We've been going there for 5 years, and we've got our reservations for next year. We've decided to stay 3 weeks instead of two because we enjoy it so much. You won't go wrong staying at South Forty!

We had a great stay at South-Forty RV Park! Management was friendly and accommodating, location was great for hitting the trails, and the sunsets were fantastic with panoramic views. Laundry and showers were clean but bring quarters for the shower.

We have been here several times and thought the place was just ok, but this year the place looks much better, much more taken care of by Jake and his wife Kasey. The week were here Jake was working day and night to keep the place clean and looking good. They both were always friendly and eager to help, my wife wanted to move to a different space and Kasey was more than accommodating and friendly. The owners made the right move having the two of them here. Plus they installed Starlink internet since the last time we were here and that is an improvement from before. The place is looking better and new improvements are added from the year before. The owners seem to be working hard to make your stay enjoyable and it shows. We will definitely be back again.

Great park, many trails leading out to open land. Has a group ride in September for enjoying Fall Colors. Big rig and UTV friendly. Spotless washroom and showers. Extremely friendly staff. Stayed for 14 days, wonderful event.

Very nice park with awesome trails surrounding it. I was able to take the dogs out to run on them without issue. It was also nice to have a fenced area for dogs. Do wish it was a bit less rocky but it does the trick for taking them to go to the bathroom and wander off leash. Spaces were quite large in both length and width. Park was quiet, and minimal noise from the highway even though it was right next to it (only heard noise with window or door open). Laundry room was great. It was nice to have dryers at a park that actually dry in one cycle! We travel full time and this is my favorite park so far! Absolutely will be back as our travels allow!

Decided last minute to stay here. We hoped online and they had spaces available for $45/night! Which is such good pricing! Moab or even sand hollow is around $120/night.Everyone working for the resort was super nice and friendly. They allowed us to check out late at no charge, which was super appreciated. About 2 miles from town and close to so many trails. Has a dog area but not a lot of grass, just weeds that dogs can go around. Which is okay, my dogs aren’t worried about that. Some people did get a little loud at the camp at night but office staff was able to shut that down. Enjoyed our stay and would come back.Make sure if you are missing anything while camping to get it before you go into marysvale. There is not a lot of places you can get regular items needed.

We stayed for 4 nights(September 13th /17th), and they lost water to the park late Friday night, and by noon Saturday, they were out with hoses filling everyone's water tank's until they could get the water fixed. That to me is above and beyond. Thank you.Nearby activities: ATVing, fishing, sightseeing

About 60+, reasonably spacious, full hookup sites. Nice restroom, laundry and small gift shop. Very friendly and accommodating owners. They also have a couple of cabins with private bathrooms. The campground has a designated common campfire area, but only propane grills are allowed at the individual campsites. There is a fenced designated dog area, but dogs are not allowed on the common area grass, laundry or office areas. Owners seem to run a tight ship, which is good, because many people don't know how to behave properly.

Did our annual 2 week Vacation. Booked 2 weeks here at the South Forty RV Park to do some off-road riding. There are literally Millions of trails. Arrived at the park, very nice and well-kept. The owners Jim and Terri work their butts off to keep the place looking nice. The RV spaces are easy to pull in and out of, very spacious and kept very clean. They have a beautiful laundry room with showers and bathrooms. They have a lot of rules!! As they should, because the place looks very nice and does not get overrun by people that do not respect their property. If you want to party and whoop it up, go down the street, this place is very quiet and peaceful. Easy access to most all trails. If you're new to the area and do not know the trails, Jim will be more than happy to help you plan out your trails and scenic points of interest. They had a poker run for Father's Day, it was very well organized, the food was great and we had a great time!Thank you Jim and Terri for your Hospitality, your place is beautiful and all your hard work is proof of that.LL and Phil M

Was glad we picked this campground. We stayed for 2 weeks. Had nice big spaces, very clean and great mountain views. Very strick on dog rules. Glad to have a place that you can relax after wheeling all day and not have dogs running the campground. We had our dog with. Great location for wheeling. Thanks for a relaxing time. Jim and TerriHope to see you soon again.

I don't think I will stay here again. I made reservations for 6 days at the park for the ATV Jubilee and everything was fine until on day 2 my wife became very ill with either food poisoning or a bug. She is disabled and not able to walk so, it was an emergency and we had to go home to phoenix. I stopped at the office on the way out and explained the situation to the lady and asked if a partial refund was possible. She gave the most unfriendly, uncompassionate, abrupt response of "No Refunds", then asked me my name and then just said "OK". I understand if that is their policy, at least be kind and explain that, or even just say you are sorry, but she was just plain rude. I already lost hundreds of dollars from gas and pre-paid meals and then had to be treated like that.Edit: After posting this review, South-Forty RV Park reached out to me via E-mail and said they were going to refund me for the nights that I did not stay. She said they have a "no refund" policy but, do make exceptions for medical emergencies. This made me feel a little better about the whole ruined vacation. I will change to 4 stars.

Jim and Terri and the salt of the earth. We haven’t had a better RV Park experience than the one we had for a week at South-Forty RV Park. We had reservations at another park down the road in Circleville but they gave our spots away we hen they had booked us for a week. We started calling around and Terri got us in and was able to accommodate us for other family members in the cabins for 2 nights as well. Terri treated the kids like they were her own. Jim planned an awesome ride for us into Monroe up through mountain meadows reservoir down the Paiute trail and back into Marysville. They have a place for you to wash your ATV for $2.00 before you put it back into your trailer. They have designated areas for pets if you have them. A little green grass for kids to play on. Areas to have a fire and sit and enjoy each other. Great views and immediate access to several trails for all your riding pleasures. Don’t pass on this place - it’s definitely worth it. Thanks, Jim and Terri for making us feel like family all week!

I'm not much for RV camping but my wife and I went here with with our ATV group to go ride the trails, and the entire weekend we were there was pretty amazing. We camped in tents and were very thankful for the on-site bathrooms. The camp store was well stocked with things that we needed like sunscreen and hats. We had no complaints other than since we were camping in tents it might have been nice to have a little dirt area for the tents instead of the gravel. However that's not much of a big deal since this is an RV park! We knew what we were getting ourselves into. The location is probably the best thing about this park because It has direct access to the nearby trails, and there is minimal writing of a roads in order to get to the other trails in the area..

We just finished a fun 5 days at the park. Jim & Terri run a great park.Large, thought out sites that all face north to maximize shade after a long ride. Jim gave us ride tips every morning. We saw snow at 11,500 feet, lots of running creeks, waterfalls and more animals than we can count. We will surely return.

Great RV park. The owners were friendly and helpful during a busy Labor Day weekend. We are not normally RV park visitors since we mostly dry camp in BLM or National Forrest areas but the experience there was better than what we expected. Access to the trails was conveniently out the back of the park so this made the location even better. Everyone who we spoke to at the park were repeat visitors so that says a lot about the owners in my opinion. We will return to South Forty on our next trip riding the Paiute trail system!

We just completed an extended weekend here and LOVED IT! Jim and Terri are wonderful people. The park was clean, the sites were large and accommodated our larger 5th wheel. Jim even took the time to help us plan our trips out to make sure we saw what we were most interested in. We will be making this trip a yearly tradition. Thank you!

Susi and I stayed at South-40 RV during the 2020 Paiute Jamboree. Much better place than in town Marysvale. Easy access to ATV trails. Teri and Jim are quite hospitable folks and have worked hard to improve the RV Park pull-through sites over the past years. Bathroom and laundry area are accessible 24-7 and kept clean; gift shop-office cool during the day. We’ve rebooked our stay for next year’s Jamboree. Hope to see you there.

LOVED IT! So friendly! SO accomodating! Although we are not RVing, we were offered a "dry camp" at a GREAT price.Wonderful place for ATV enjoyment, and close to a LONG bicycle path we enjoyed. Also close to Marysvale and a YUMMY breakfast, for a very reasonable price.
