Super reasonable rates for cats (not sure about dogs because I’ve never boarded mine here or anywhere). Always have availability, even last minute and are willing to work with you. My kitty is always happy to go there. I like that the cats get to hang out together and play instead of being crated all day. Gives me good peace of mind when I leave him there.

UPDATED: we took our dog to the vet, and he has two different serious infections from wounds, and has lost 9lbs. All of which were caused by the time spent at the facility. I returned to the facility to report this to the staff and owner. The owner was pleasant and paid for the antibiotics and pain reliever. He has been fair and reasonable in our situation; but this still should not have occurred in the first place.Staff was pleasant. Experience was not. We left our dog there for 5 days while out of town and was not notified at all of our dog receiving injury and not eating for two days. I picked up our doberman to see him lethargic, limping, with several visible wounds, and several pounds lighter. I understand accidents may happen when there are several dogs in an environment and factors may be unrelated to something they did or did not do. However the lack of communication with owners is unacceptable when there is a conflict or concerning behavior in the dog.

I am so disappointed with the supposed grooming my poodle and maltipoo received today. I was asked to pay before my dogs were brought out and when I saw them I said I was very unhappy, the groomer asked what she could do and tried to brush them but they still look like they weren’t even groomed. So, I said I shouldn’t have to pay for this grooming but would pay for a bath and was told they don’t give refunds.

I can't speak for the boarding, but we have taken advantage of the grooming a couple times. The things I like: 1. they don't charge as much as most places in the valley 2. It's really easy to get in when most other groomers are booked up till next year. 3. They didn't mind when it took me an hour or so after their call to pick my dog up. 4. They seem nice and my dog comes home happy.Things I don't like: 1. They don't do the job well. I have a poodle mix, who, I am told are notoriously picky about their feet being touched. That being said, they didn't seem even try to tidy up her toes. Two times out of two we brought her home looking like a snowshoe hare.

After being a loyal customer to CVPH for over 6 years, I'm terribly disappointed in how they handled my dog being attacked while staying at their facility. My dog will NOT BE RETURNING to a place where I cannot trust that she is being taken care of.I called multiple times to check on my dog during her stay (6 nights) and was told every time she was doing great. I picked my dog up last night, took her home and gave her a bath.I quickly noticed she had dried blood and 2 bald spots above her cute little bum. I called CVPH and the lady said there was a puppy (going to be a 100# dog when grown) that wouldn't leave my dog (13# shitzhu) alone and that an incident occurred. She said they moved that puppy to the medium kennel right after so nothing else would happen.I asked about getting information (breed of other dog, day of incident) so I can take my dog to the vet and look into having the other dog's owner pay the bill. She said she would have to talk to Paul (CVPH owner) and get back to me. Well, I just got off the phone with Paul and now see what all the bad reviews were talking about. He is absolutely HORRIBLE to talk to and very un-sympathetic. He yelled at me while I was asking why what he says contradicts what I was told yesterday. If you run a business where you deal with the public, yelling at your customers is not the way to go.Apparently all the things I was told yesterday when I called to question the injuries I found, suddenly there was no recollection to what happened. How would I have such specific details if someone didn't tell them to me yesterday? They won't tell me which dog was moved out of the small dog kennel for causing the problems and I'm 99.999% sure caused injury to my dog.I fully understand that these are animals and things happen. What I don't understand is how something like this can happen and no one contacted me to let me know, informed me when I called to check on her, and how this was not considered a documented incident.Considering there is dried blood and yellow crusty-like flakes, this did not happen on the last day. My stomach churns and it breaks my heart that they didn't take better care of her.If it weren't for the owner (Paul), I may have considered taking my dog there in the future. But given how he handles these things, I will not be supporting him or his business ever again.Over the past few years, when people on a local facebook page ask where to board their pets, I've always recommending CVPH. Not anymore, and it all falls on how Paul handled the situation with my dog. I will not refer anyone to them ever again.

DO NOT take your dogs here!! If I could rate 0 stars, I would. Historically I have taken my dogs here randomly for daycare and boarding. Each visit has gotten progressively worse. After this last visit, I will NOT take them back there.• RACHEL SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO WORK WITH ANIMALS. She has referred to my dogs as ‘monsters’ and has no compassion for the animals she interacts with. During this last visit, my dogs were kept in their kennel almost the entire visit because another dog (an unneutered male that I believe was Rachel’s own dog, “Winston”) decided to aggressively go after my dog because he’d tried to mount hers. Instead of separating the aggressive dog, she kept mine kenneled. They had no response when I asked why I wasn’t called to be notified of the situation so I could pick them up. They wouldn't have said anything if I hadn't asked specifically why I didn't see them on the cameras while they were there. Rachel tried to justify the situation saying that the aggressive dog has separation anxiety from another smaller dog, so they let the smaller dog in with the larger dogs.. and instead of separating the aggressive dog (and the smaller one if needed), they punished mine. Mind you, there was no sensitivity to the impact this had on my dogs, or the cost that I was paying for them to have the daycare experience. If I wanted them to sit in a kennel all day, I would have taken them somewhere else. Rachel acts like she is on a power trip and enjoys being cruel to dogs.• It stinks and is unsanitary. From the moment you walk in the door, there is an extremely potent odor. Every time I have picked my dogs up, they are disgusting. I have boarded my dogs at multiple other places in the past and never had the issue of the location or my dogs smelling. I very rarely see the staff clean (in person in the front office or on their webcams) and when they do, it’s clearly not as thorough as it needs to be.• I’ve attempted grooming at this place in the past with negative experiences. After a few visits they began charging me a ‘difficult dog handling fee’ for my lab’s bath, who will literally lay in a bathtub because he loves the water so much. I don’t buy it. They cut his nails too short and now he has major anxiety about having his nails trimmed.• They are chaotic and disorganized. The staff do not communicate well (to guests or each other) and are unprofessional with their use of bad language (again, Rachel) and make negative comments about their owner, Paul. They are constantly yelling at the dogs in the back, which you can hear from the front office.• The owner brings his dogs in (I want to say at least 4) who all sit in the front office and are not all friendly to other dogs. My dogs have been growled or nipped at multiple times, which only contributes to the chaos and negative feeling in the office. Even just reading how he responds to other reviews goes to show the quality of his character and lack of compassion for others.PLEASE spare your pets the damage of going here!

The dogs were injured when we picked them up. They seem traumatized it took weeks for them to recover.

It wasn't my dog but my friends and from what I saw and have been told the owner is a money grubbing abuser that over books, and over works his employees.I don't know what conditions the dogs have for either grooming or boarding so please take my comments for what they are worth.Personally, I would not leave my pets here.Notice: I am not claiming that the owner abuses animals, just the employees.

It’s too bad you can’t leave a 0 star review. My family has used their services on 4 or 5 occasions and have had negative experiences every time. Please save your time, money, and health of your beautiful fur baby and go somewhere else. This is thee worst location to have your dog groomed and/or stay at. They are incompetent, inconsiderate, and irresponsible. Just a lousy business stealing your money. 👎🏾

We love this place! We take our dog Tiny in for daycare at least twice a week. When we go on vacation we always board her there. She is so excited to go inside and when We pick her up sometimes I feel like she likes the staff more then she likes us. My biggest complaint is when there is a lot of dogs there or it’s wet outside it smells, but what do you expect it is a dog boarding facility. I don’t know about your dog but if mine has an accident in the house it stinks for weeks. I can’t imagine 40 dogs having an accident in the house All at once whoa! So considering the fact I think they are doing great to clean and maintain the smell. Plus they offer grooming services so if your worried about the way your dog smells just get them a bath before they leave!

Brought my two cats in to get deshedded, I understand they’re cats and these kind of animals are more difficult to handle but with the amount of shed still left on them it wasn’t worth bringing them in. Tails and back look better, but chests, rear, and stomachs (the parts I needed help with the most) seem practically untouched. Called in to complain about mats that were left on my cats rear, was told that she forgot to tell me.Again, I get it, cats are hard. That’s why I paid for someone else to do something I can’t. I’ve never gotten my cats groomed before this, so maybe it’s the norm for them not to be fully groomed, but the lack of communication on what wasn’t performed during the groom is what stuck out to me and felt disingenuous. But hey, the shampoo smells good. 🤷🏻‍♀️Probably just going to go somewhere else or do it myself next time, pretty disappointed.

I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt being a local business but after trying it out 3 times I can safely say I will never bring my cat there again. I've never left a bad review for any business in my life so this is how serious I am.The staff acts like you're inconveniencing them by boarding your pet, and I've only had one staff member actually make an attempt at being polite (Kim is lovely). The owner is unreasonably rude and unpleasant. The entire place (and neighborhood) reeks of urine... including my cat. I have to give him baths after I pick him up because the smell is so bad. I understand it's a dog boarding facility but I've been to plenty and have never experienced a boarding place so unsanitary in my life. It's just gross. The cat room is absolutely repulsive with stains and feces. The last time I picked up my cat, he had another cat's claws LITERALLY sticking into his skin and I had to pry them out and he had hair missing. Totally unacceptable.Last but not least, I'm not into businesses cheaply tricking me into more money. They had been charging me their "un-neutered" price without telling me even though my cat was neutered AND charged me a late fee that no one told me about. That was the straw that broke the camel's back. Never again!

I’ve used this kennel for my dogs for years, but never again. They tried to send me home with the wrong dog after boarding for a few days. They had lost him in the facility and confused him with another dog of the same breed. We got that sorted and I brought my dog home. Then, he tragically died unexpectedly the following day. My family and I are devastated, do not bring your dogs here.

Our puppy had so much fun here! Great staff that helped with any questions I had and made me feel so comfortable leaving him! We were able to keep an eye on him with the live feed they had and make sure he behaved. He was so tired from playing all day after we brought him home. We will be taking him back another time!

My dog came home Friday from there. He was not acting like himself. I went to pet his neck, and they had tightened up his collar. He could barely breathe. There was no reason for that exept that they obviously used force with him. They didn't bother to mention there had been an issue. He will not be going back!! A great dane, (though big) does not need to be treated with aggressive behavior. He responds very well to positive training.

Don’t have any form of automation to remind you of grooming appointments. Building is very dirty. Also have recieved my dog smelling worse than before and still having tons of hair that wasn’t brushed. Have to pay a reservation fee which is reidiculous as well as a no show fee of which they won’t let you reschedule that you just have to pay the fee again. They’re the absolute worst dog place in the valley.

These guys are great. My pups know the place and get excited to be there. The staff have always been friendly and accommodating. Every time we need to board the dogs and do grooming we use these guys. It's not fancy by any means but it is a good place. I can also watch my pups with the live stream cameras while I'm away.

I highly recommend these folks. I have an old lab that I needed to board for daycare. Reason I was needing to board him was that my son & daughter-in-law were going to be in the hospital having my second grandson, and I needed to board our dog when we eventually went to the hospital, and we were from out of town. There were several false alarms with the birth of my grandson, so we kept having to postpone when we needed to board our dog. They were very accommodating, and took very good care of our old lab.

They will take care of your animal. Left my dogs there for two weeks. One of my dogs, a rescue, was not getting along with a bigger dog. A growl and nip later, then they gently lead my dog to a private suite. Gave him lots of attention, baths, and walks. He was so happy. I was worried that if anything happened I would have to come home early and get him. Thank you so much! My other dog made friends with all the small dogs.

Staff was extremely nice but it took awhile to get help! I asked about their webcams and was informed they were on their site, though when I checked it 2x a day, every time the camera was to the ground so I never got to see my pup. He looked like he had a great time when I picked him up, but had dry blood and many scratches on a few areas of his body which was concerning. Even at the dog park he doesn’t get injured. I also wished to see the yard/inside area he would be staying in, and they told me they couldn't due to private reasons (which if you ask me doesn’t make sense if my dog will be staying there). Having photos of the yard/inside of hotel to view would be comforting so I know exactly where my dog is staying.

Great experience for doggy daycare! The staff was very friendly, answered any questions I had and made me feel comfortable about leaving our dog there for the day. It was great to have the live webcams so I could watch her at any point during the day and she came home nice and tired! We don't often travel where we can't take our dog, but when we do I'll definitely take her here. Would return for the daycare option also.

I live on the block this business is located. It is honestly a terrible experience, the entire block smells like urine. The dogs are left unsupervised in the yard all day long barking. No one can enjoy any quiet after 7 am. The employees that work there walk the dogs in the adjacent business parking lot to use the bathroom, and they don't even bother to clean up. The yard the dogs are in is just dirt, that is covered in feces, and a pool of dirty water that is never cleaned. The entire neighborhood agrees that the business is a bother, and honestly from what we could see unsafe for the animals themselves. The city shouldn't allow this business to remain within city bounds, there is not enough space for these animals. Paul started with good intentions, but it's gone down hill. It's honestly horrifying to witness.

So far so great! Very kind. Will update after trip.Update: Dog came back happy and normal as can be. This was only our second time. First time messed the poor little dude up. He seems great!Note: Jill groomed him. Considering all the communication we had with her. She really seemed to care about doing a good job. And Mak looks amazing! Thank you all. I was worried!

I bring my dog Oakley in every week for boarding and he loves going! I say doggy daycare and he goes crazy, grabs his leash and heads for the door:) The customer service is amazing and the staff is even better. Oakley's favorite is Miss Alicia:) I love that I found a place that I can trust to leave my fur baby and know that he is being loved and taken care of while we are away. There is no other place I would rather take him. Love Cache Valley Pet Hotel and the amazing Staff:)

Edit: reply for owners response just because you dont find my name in ur system doesnt mean my dog wasnt there just means he was there under my husband's name. This isnt the first time someone left this exact review or similar for this place in the last 4 years or so. Very unprofessional to get snippy with someone just because you dont like a review they posted, you dont like negative reviews? Well i suggest maybe not owning a business or just being better at running it. also you want business try answering the phone when people call you i called 2 days in a row after picking up my dog from here to talk to someone about the marks and blood on him and his missing toys but nobody could be bothered to pickup the phone. Very unprofessional to criticize someone on spelling and yeah i leave reviews about other businesses as well because people have a right to know what they are getting involved with.THIS PLACE IS RUN AND OWNED BY A HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL MAN WHO DOES NOT CARE ABOUT UR PET. READ THE OTHER 1 STAR REVIEWS ALSOSent my dog here for 3 days he went in without any marks on him and came home with his tale tucked between his legs and bloody scratches all over his sides and behind his ear. They also lose his stuff he went with and then still charges you 110 dollars 😡

2nd Edit: I took off a star because I don't think that the Pet Hotel is what it used to be. They've taken down their website completely, which makes it impossible to watch their webcam. I don't feel like their excuses of their "website provider locked them out" isn't good enough now because it has been over 5 months and they still don't have a solution. It's EXTREMELY easy to create a website, and I know their cameras for the webcam are still up and running. I also don't like how the turn over with their employees has created a lot of confusion and miscommunication with their new pick up/drop off schedule. It doesn't feel like the staff knows what's going on with their job, so it makes me wonder if they know what's going on with my dog. I want to still believe that Milo is being taken care of, because he LOVES going to play with his friends, but I also don't feel as comfortable dropping him off anymore if I cannot check on him. He's been going about 2X a month now instead of 2X a week because of my uneasiness.Edit: After 2 years of taking Milo to Cache Valley Pet Hotel, Milo still loves it! They have changed their feeding times to two times a day and they are right on time *every day*. Milo is still so excited to go to Daycare and is always welcomed by all the staff. We also started taking my fiance's parent's dog Romeo and he has loved it there even more than Milo. These guys really do care about taking care of your pet like they're part of the family.Original Review: I'm actually really surprised that the Pet Hotel has gotten so many bad reviews lately. I started taking my dog there about a month ago and haven't had any issues! My dog Milo loves to play with the other dogs in a safe space. The staff there is very friendly and took their time getting to know Milo. He's a rescue and a bit scared of new people, so they were very careful to make sure he felt safe and not force anything on him. They now know him by name and he's always so excited to walk in the door! They have a clean kennel area and are consistently cleaning up after the dogs whenever they make a mess. The only thing I noticed that I didn't like was they don't feed the dogs dinner at 4:00 like they say they will. Sometimes it's an hour and a half later. I understand that things come up, but it's happened more than once, so I wish they could be more consistent with that.
