Stopped in randomly at 1:23, we needed a bite to eat before entering the park on a spur of the moment road trip. We ordered the Texas Stew (so delish! Definitely homemade!) with the Hot Hamburger and the chicken salad with the sweet fire sauce. All the angel signs were coming at me. Thank you Trinity and Mylee! The decor is like stepping back into time to a small roadside diner. Where you know the food is good and made with love. Make sure to tip them well! Sage Angel #2

My family stopped by this little gem in Loa for breakfast on our way to Salt Lake City. The atmosphere is so warm and cozy. Keisha was our server and she was absolutely wonderful, friendly, and attentive. She made us feel so welcome. My ham and cheese omelette was fabulous! Everyone really enjoyed their breakfast. One great perk is you get free coffee with your breakfast. Plus, they have fresh juicy lemons for my water, which was a real treat because other stops n Torrey didn't have lemons whrn I asked. It's the little things :)Great place to refuel after a week of hiking and the prices are very reasonable. We would certainly return if we come back to the area! Thanks, Keisha! This home town family owned cafe serves excellent food and reasonable prices. I dine here as often as possible anytime I am in the Capitol Reef/Fish Lake area. The Lunch specials are very good deals and the Chef is first class. Great wait staff, too.Don't miss this place!

We stop in today on our way through Loa to get it quick bite of lunch. It is a very small café. The staff were nice. The food was tasty. My husband had the patty melt on marbled rye. He thought it was very good and they have natural home cut fries, which he liked. I had the taco salad. The ingredients were fresh in the salad, the portion was large, but it reminded me of my high school cafeteria taco salad. Understand this is not a Mexican restaurant, so I get it. We love this place! The food, the service and the atmosphere match everything you’d hope for in a small western town. This place is worth the drive if you need a warm meal after hiking in Capitol Reef. The Ruben & homemade fries were yummy and I appreciated the cozy , friendly atmosphere. Would definitely return

This Cafe is in Loa, UT. It is a quaint little place. The waitress was friendly and attentive to our needs. We both had the French toast special which comes with 2 scrambled eggs and 2 slices of bacon 🥓. The prices are reasonable.Parking: Parking available on the street.
