My first time taking my girl Star to uptown bark and it was a great experience! Staff and owners were incredibly kind and helpful, and star was ready to go in an only a few hours. Star got a full groom and teddy cut and she looks perfect, they even gave her a super cute springtime bow! They do an awesome job, and you can tell this organization truly cares about pets and their owners. Thanks uptown bark🐶🎀

Fantastic Experience with New Ownership!I recently took my furry friend to Uptown Bark under the new ownership, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed! The new owners have breathed new life into this establishment, maintaining the high standards of grooming while adding their own special touch. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism.The grooming session itself was impeccable. Not only did they leave my dog looking absolutely fabulous, but they also took the time to ensure he was comfortable throughout the entire process. It's evident that they have a genuine love for animals and are dedicated to providing top-notch care.I also appreciated the attention to detail and the personalized service they provided. They listened attentively to my requests and went above and beyond to exceed my expectations. Plus, the prices are reasonable for the quality of service you receive.Overall, I highly recommend the Uptown Bark under its new ownership. Ashley at uptown bark is so compassionate and attentive to our puss. She is fast and so so good. We were terrified for our cat being too scared and hating us after and Ashley made her feel completely safe and comfortable. We would recommend her to anyone! She was great! Thanks Ashley! ❤️

I took my baby here a few days ago and I am not happy with the experience in any way. My first appointment with them was cancelled 15 minutes before their appointment but I decided to still give Uptown a chance as I understand things happen. I’m not sure if my girl (mini golden doodle) was just rushed or had an inexperienced groomer. She came home with toe nails cut way too short she was bleeding everywhere (I understand that is common). Her back paws were cut to the point of being raw and left open wounds, she can’t even walk without having antibiotic cream and booties on. Very unfortunate her groom costed $145 for her to be in pain. Do not recommend coming here.

My Shitzu had a few sebaceous glands removed and couldn’t be groomed for two weeks longer than usual. So her face was horribly overgrown, and we could not clearly see her eyes—But I noticed one was red. Shelby, our groomer, so carefully cleaned out the eye goobers and carefully trimmed the area. She informed us that my poor pooch has an eye infection and I needed to get her to a vet, right away. I took her the next day and the vet said the groomer had done 90% of the work to get Izzy’s eye healed up; he gave me eyedrops and said that she should be significantly better if not completely healed in one week. I am so grateful that Uptown Bark loves my dogs, and doesn’t just get it done, but does their best. I’ve been going there for years, but the new owners have impressed me with their compassion and concern. I will post some after pictures in a week when she’s feeling better.

We heard uptown was under new ownership, so we decided to bring our two baby girls in for nail trims today. Met the new owners who were both attentive, and both were loving on the Annabelle and Rocky, even the groomer was loving with both of them. Annabelle and Rocky had a great time. So happy Uptown is owned by animal lovers again.

If the whole company displays as much enthusiasm for pets and for grooming and as much professionalism as Alexus does, then this place must be absolutely fantastic! I am glad I got to work with her! We took our Golden-doodle to Uptown Barks after our other groomer was booked out two months. They were able to fit us in within the next few days. They did an amazing job on our pups hair. She dedicated a lot of time to getting knots out and listened how I wanted his hair trimmed. It’s his best cut yet. Thanks Uptown Bark for your time you put into him and made him look great.

My pups love Uptown Bark! They get so excited to go there. I've never been somewhere where the dogs get excited when they see their groomer. We use them for grooming and doggy daycare and they are the best!! They really care about the dogs and I feel like they are safe and taken care of and I really appreciate that it is always clean. I love taking them home completely worn out from playing all day.

I started bringing my dog here now it is under new management/ owners. I was pleasantly greeted by the new owners and they took time to actually talk with me and learn about my dog. They genuinely care and it SHOWS!! My dog, COLT, absolutely loves the new owners and he gets so excited to go. I even signed him up for the unlimited daycare, because he loves going and comes home tired and happy.

LOVE THIS PLACE! They are now under new ownership and I just met the new owners this week. They were very welcoming and I'm excited to see what they do with the place! My giant Doberman Pinscher loves this place. I have been taking him to Uptown since he was a baby and I have 0 complaints. He is now 4 and I've had no problems ever. I always feel completely comfortable dropping him off for daycare, or grooming, or boarding. He is so excited to go and the communication the owners have with me is so wonderful. If you are looking for a place for your fur baby this is it!

Best dog groomer in Utah hands down. We went in last week for a quick groom before the holidays and they did some cute Christmas pictures of him with Santa! They're always so good with him and he looks great every time I pick him up! I’m always happy with his groom. He’s never scared when I drop him off either, so I know he’s always in good hands there!

Hillary at Uptown Bark did a great job on my 13yr old yorkie. She spent time listening to me tell her all of Chloe’s aches and pains and her shoulder to watch and the concerns I had with her age and getting a groom. She was very understanding and then did Chloe’s wash and groom in a way to give Chloe’s shoulder a break. She did a great job and was done so quickly. I will definitely ask for her at uptown bark again!

Ran into a flat tire. Had a neighbor meet me and take the kitty to Uptown for me and a friend pick up the kitty. The kitty was an hour late for the appt and uptown worked with me via phone and was able to complete the grooming and payment the same day. They were professional, worked with me and made sure I felt supported. They went above and beyond in expected customer service.

We have been coming to Uptown Bark for a while however, this was our first appointment since the change of ownership/management.The owner and staff are VERY friendly to not only my family but our pup. Finding a groomer that can do a teddy bear cut can be difficult and pricey however, Hilary did an amazing job on our bernadoodle! She was very sweet and kept in touch through out our dogs time at Uptown Bark. The pricing might have gone up a tad but it is definitely worth it!I would absolutely recommend anyone with a pet but especially a doodle, to check out Uptown Bark.

Joanie and Dan the new owners, of Uptown Bark give such great care to every dog who comes to Uptown. My dog Holly loves going to daycare and being with them all day. This matters so much as she is a Covid pup and has anxiety when left alone. The daycare is so clean and always smells good. The grooming services are the best, and they treat all their patrons with courtesy and friendliness. It is the Best! I recommend giving them a try if you haven’t.

I absolutely love the beautiful groom they did on our husky. He was in need of deshedding, and when I picked him up I was shocked at how perfectly smooth his coat is. I will definitely be bringing him back!

We have a Shih-Poo mix and he can get very matted in his under coat almost like matted sheep wool! You can tell it’s very uncomfortable for him and he gets overheated from it. I’ve tried to groom him myself to save money and he has come out bald as a new born baby, but no more! Uptown Bark did an amazing job grooming him!!! He was quite matted and I thought he’d come out shorter than he did. I am beyond grateful for his cute new look!!! You can see how much better he feels being mat free, and all that weight off of him. He’s been doing zoomies and being his crazy care free self again!!! Thank you Uptown Bark!

We love Joanie at Uptown bark. Her love for animals is apparent and our pup can see that as well. He always walks straight in and goes to her. She always does such an amazing job with his grooming. He is part poodle but we like to keep him shaved short she is able to keep our very active pup still long enough to get him shaved every 7 weeks we wouldn’t go anywhere else!!!

I have normally had a good experience with uptown bark. Just picked my dogs up, I am so disappointed with the job. I explained in detail and asked when booking if it was our normal groomer they said yes. Neither dog has a teddy bear face. Their hair was very short all around their head and face. We were very specific how we like them cut. I wouldn't have minded being charged more than normal if the job was done well but this is so bad.
