Target, Layton, is conveniently located off Antelope Dr. It’s true!… you go in for one thing and end up finding several “must haves” that take over your cart!Target has everything from groceries, to sporting goods and cosmetics! Fresh meat, deli, produce, great home decor selection, toys, modern, stylish clothes for the entire family!Target’s prices are a bit more expensive in general but their selections are more “updated” and tend to be more relevant in areas of toys, clothing, shoes, accessories, home decor and harder to find items.This store is clean, well stocked, organized and is easy to navigate. Plentiful parking. Location central to many other stores, restaurants and near main thoroughfares.Highly addicting! Highly recommend!

What is going on with this location? Closed frequently during hours they are listed as open. Everything is always out of order. When they actually are open, they don't have any pizza. These were taken at 3:20pm on Saturday January 13th.

Don't know what's happened in the last six months. Store used to have free aisles, now filled with unloaded pallets. Shelves look horrible and most of them empty. Tech used to be clean but now it's cluttered, sad to see it like this.

The store is going to almost all cards and not cash. They only had one lane open for cash and it was long on a Wednesday day. The chicken was 3 times the cost of another store which I will not name. The chicken was rubbery and I ended up not even eating it. The food side has been on a downward slide for awhile. Sorry but I will now have to drive farther to get good food at a decent price.

I am usually a frequent Target customer but after the last few visits to this local I have decided to shop somewhere else. At my most recent visit the self check out lines were 10 customers deep and I was the 8th customer in line of the single checked. I waited over 30 minutes to check out. There was no one working at the customer service desk and I heard multiple people call for more cashiers up front 3 separate times and no one came to help.

LINDA! the most amazing woman! She helped my indecisive self (for more than necessary) and informed me on how the clothing is categorized and how to find what I wanted specifically - as well as showed me around to those places afterward. She was fantastic! Kudos to target for hiring, training, and employing such great people!

Hope this review helps people that shop at Target.Target will price match with Amazon. Just make sure it says "Ship and sold from Amazon". Target does not honor from third party sellers that use Amazon to ship and sell their products. Same thing with one of Target's competitors Best Buy. Best Buy will price match Amazon too.Use the Amazon app to scan the product at Target before checking out. Some items will be cheaper at Target than Amazon and vice versa.

The Target Marketplace in Layton has really done an excellent job of remodeling their clothing departments. They are doing a fantastic job of making themselves look upscale and more like a large retailer, even though they still have their grocery department and their pharmacy. I've always liked the clothing Target has and they are really outdoing themselves now with the brands and styles they carry. You'll see by the photos attached to this review how beautiful the renovation looks. The store looks brighter, larger and more inviting. Kudos to the store management for an excellent job of making customers want to stay longer and buy more!

The Front end management is awful here, they never know what's going on and frequently blames their customers & workers. Saw a lady get refused service for being black. Would recommend to never shop here as the workers clearly are struggling.

The last time I shopped here there was still one or two self-checkouts that accepted cash so I waited in line just for all of them to be card only. Then had to wait in another line for another 5-10 minutes. As someone who gets the majority of my income from cash tips this is extremely disappointing. If I can help it I will not be shopping here again.

Friendly environment, good people, but there was a sign that said 40% off of 3 or more 12 packs and the discount was never applied, waited in a long line for self checkout machines that usually take cash just to find out none of them took cash and that was my only method of payment, and then going to a cashier and getting the incorrect amount of change, shorting me out a dollar

This store had the longest lines. No workers to be found up front but we’re pushing freight. Clothing department has stuff on the floor. Starbucks was closed during business hours (mid day)

I love this Target! The pickup service is great. The store is clean, when I have an issue the people here are very accommodating, and I don’t feel bad, like when I shop at Walmart.

Love this place and would rate higher. However, in my experience, there are never enough check stands open. One or two max are open even if it's busy. I understand selfcheck is the preferred way to pay. But when grocery shopping or buying lots of items the self check isn't the best option. Please open more registers 🙏

I arrived at target at 2am to get the Stanley 40oz Pink Tumbler limited release. The manager, Jake, came out and said there were only two and that the first two people in line would get the tumbler. I was warming up in my truck because my toes were numb but multiple people vouched for my place in line yet Jake decided to exercise his authority and gave the only two pink tumblers to the first person in line and the 4th person in line, skipping over the third person who diligently stood in line since 4am. Jake did not practice good customer service and failed to listen to the most loyal paying customers. Had he just asked the people in line, he would have received information and could have acted fairly but instead impulsively (whether due to inexperience or an ego trip) determined who could purchase the product. Jake obviously didn’t value the time and energy of the people who supported this promotion by caring enough to make sure the game was played fairly. Most of the people in line left Target with the suspicion that Jake, the manager, gave access to the limited release tumblers to target employees instead of the public who waited outside in 28 degree weather for 5-3 hours. What's the point of participating if the game isn't respected? There were at least 30 people in line who didn't get one.

I mean, they're alright. Some of the managers are jerks, and it seems like most of the preppy and entitled people go here. For the most part, Wal-mart is a better place if your personality isn't name brand.

Ordered a boys shirt and a pillow for pick up. They said the shirt was out of stock however I went in and they had plenty they just didn't go look. Then the pillow was absolutely filthy! The store is always in disaster. Just go to Riverdale or the centerville Target and skip the layton one!

I shop here a couple of times a week and usually go around the whole store lol. Well stocked and friendly staff at this location! I wish there were more gluten free items at this location, I have to go to a different target (like the SLC one) or store altogether for gluten free items like bread and crackers. They do have a good selection of gf frozen items though.

WORST Starbucks experience ever. Felicity made my 9 year old cry. She made his drink and it was so nasty that we brought it back after one sip. After he explained that it tasted off, she told him he was lying, that she made it herself and it was just fine. When I stepped in and asked for it to be remade she rolled her eyes and stormed away into the back room. Luckily for us, her co-worker re-made the drink and it tasted perfect the second time around.

I used to love target but the last few times I've been have made me dislike coming here. Everything is so disorderly! First I went looking for bras and I can't even describe the mess that section is. Same story for pants. Maybe they are short staffed and gave up on folding and organizing their clothes, I'm not sure but it's given me a headache to find what I'm looking for. And this seems to be the new norm.

CVS Pharmacy in Target has a broken gate so they are assisting customers through a side door. Such an inconvenience. They can't see you waiting or see how many people are in line. Have had to leave multiple times after waiting in line 30+ min to make it to work on time. Target fix the gate!

It's a big box store. Their grocery selection is far smaller than Wal-Mart's, but it is far easier getting in and out than Wal-Mart. So if you're not picky on grocery brands, it's great!
