We went into purchase a shed. Knowing it was an oversized item, we started with customer service. Ann was our person. She was fantastic.We were able to arrange for pick up the following day, when it was best for us. She even took down our phone number so she could call if there were any issues.It was the simplest and fastest purchase I’ve ever made at any large store.And the following day, the she’s was easily pick up and exactly where she told us it would be.

My cousin lives in Missouri oder package at Sam's club in layton for my wife and her daughter first time Christmas in US but sam's club delivers to us on December 20/23 had bag of rotten asparagus too old have 2 side packed Oct 28/23 and packed NOv/09/23 I'm stop by sam's at 900am complain but lady work there she so mean she writes down phone numbers and sam's emails for me to call to complain, she races her eyes and her voice with me because I'm Asian that why I don't want to exchange for the new one I toll her I call the new channel to complain in the news she walk away toll me go a headSorry my English not good I try the best I can , sam's club ruin my wife and her daughter first Christmas holiday in America

Just picked up ten pounds of onions and 4 pounds of butter. I use both heavily and price and quality are very good. With the price of food still spiralling out of control I'm glad to have my membership. The Hill Field store is convenient for gas and a few items but I often go to the Riverdale store for items not carried at the Hill Field store.Had a "door buster" special Emeril Lagasse French Door large air cooker for $119.99 which I have been following on Amazon and E-Bay at $240 and at Sam's for $178. Short on money this month but I snapped it up anyway. MEMBERS MARK BACON IS ALL FAT!

5 Stars, Sam's club is a great place to pick up some great things. One of those items would be the rotisserie chicken, WOW look at the size of this bird, it does not even fit in the container. It's almost a turkey for crying out loud. Tasted great, must be the steroids.... Anyways, lots of good stuff here all over the store.Instagram @foodieadventuresusa

Terrible service. Did an online order a full day before pickup. They gave me a window from 4-5. Showed up at 4:30 it is now 5:40 and I’m just now getting my order. Lady came out to tell me a ton of people put orders in right before I showed up. You should probably take care of the orders in the order they come in instead of wasting peoples time for an hour plus. Better off going to Costco.

Managers talking one cashier for cash no one in the self checkout lines so they decided to talk rather then help customers! Ridiculous and this is how it is every time I come in Sam’s club has gone down hill I’m going to Costco next forsure maybe they will have better customer service! Ridiculous!!!’

I think that it's a Costco wannabe. Many of the membermark products are inferior to name brands - especially the food items I just skip.The thing that infuriates me the most is them rescanning the receipt and some items after I am forced to use self-checkout. So often, there is a long line to exit the store. If you don't trust us, hire some cashiers!

Experience was as expected for a member's warehouse club. We have been going here for years and haven't had a complaint. But now I have a question. Recently, there has been a new greeter that bars entrance until you show your membership. Which can be a hassle if it is just on your phone. Why, after so long without, has this started again? Several people asked this question only to be rudely ignored. I have recently gone to other Sam's Clubs in the area and have not had to do this. What happened to the greetings with a smile and a "Welcome."? Now, it is just a demand and a sneer.

I've enjoyed this Sam's for a while, but today Crystal awkwardly made me move my items from cart to cart while checking out my 9 items. I put them in my cart with the bar codes facing me intentionally so I don't have to deal with that, I know it's a small thing, but I don't think I'll renew my membership. What a weird interaction.Edit: owner responded in less than half an hour, you got a star back

This Sam’s Club has earned my personal award for being the worst Sam’s Club in the entire state of Utah. Honestly, I have had the luxury to shop every single Sam’s Club in the state of Utah and this is the worst… Not just a little bit the worst… The absolute worst. The lines are always unconscionably long and everywhere. If you want a rotisserie chicken, get in line. If you want something from the café, get in line. If you want something from the tire center, get in line. If you want something from the service desk, get in line. Even if you simply want to get out of the store, get in line. I know every Sam’s Club has a line every now and then but here plan on waiting at least 15 to 20 minutes.No joke. I have waited in line 20 minutes and the café at least 15 minutes or more at the fuel pumps. If it was as bad as simply waiting in line, that might not have earned them the award for the worst in the state of Utah, but there’s more. the location is filthy. I’ve added a few images to show that.On top of that, things are always broken, or out of order or, low in stock, or out of stock.So, if you are willing to tolerate standing in long lines. For the hopes of finding something that may or may not be in stock. In a location full of filth. I guess it’s your choice.

UPDATE 4/2024 - My pick up order experience has been seemless for the past couple months. With one minor exception they keep giving me expired cheese products. But they actually answered their phone and was able to give me a refund when I called. Shelves are usually stocked when I come inside. They're not carrying CERTAIN product very long anymore. They seem to come in and out pretty quick and that's frustrating.Update 5/2023 - So frustrated that they never answer their customer service phone line. A couple times my pickup order has not been ready and I had a to wait till the next day. Super inconvenient!! Had they let me know... I would have just come in!! Another complaint; when I try to leave a bad review for a terrible product, the website won't let me. Don't trust the reviews!!Original review: Since they added to self checkout on the app.... this is my new favorite place. Now that they have curbside too I am here often! Store is always clean and has what I need. My only complaint... the stupid milk containers they switched too. They always leak and are terrible to pour!! Please go back to the old containers. We haven't bought milk here in a year because of this.

I go to Sam's Clubs all over the United States. This particular Sam's Club's Cafe always closes early. Do not come here expecting pizza hot dogs or anything. Their customer service is horrible and they always close accessively early always close at least two hours early. It's a serious joke Or some serious laziness I wonder if home office and knows about this.

This Sam’s Club location is always we’ll stocked, organized and clean. Huge discount warehouse. You can purchase everything from food and many bakery items including cakes, croissants, pastries and more, electronics, bulk items, clothing, furniture, car repairs, resale products and a Sam’s club restaurant with delicious food. Premium membership allows you to shop early and online deliveries are free. You will save at least the membership fee in one year or they will refund the fee.

Amazing place and not the madhouse that Costco in South Ogden. Products are equal to Costco quality but this place (Layton) is undershopped and is actually a pleasant experience. Great sushi and meat options. Limited, Sam's Club only items and a good food court. Parking lot is easy to get in and out of. The have over 20 brand new mobility scooters! Now the reason for the one-star takeaway.The one area that could use improvement is optical. I honestly don't think this is a priority for Sam's Club and it is significantly inferior to Costco. To adjust your classes, the employee must leave the area and go into a room of the optician's office. There are also no mirrors on the fitting tables and have about 2/3 of the selection of Costco. Prices are also higher with most frames at the $139 price point and many at $199.I still like this place better than Costco and will probably be shopping here more in the future.Oh, Costco gas is still much better being a top tier option.

If you need to return an item and it can't go back to your card, they can't do cash. That's understandable. They can give you a gift card. But wait! It's not a card. It's a flimsy little receipt. That will rip and tear and fade. The customer service representative couldn't even scan my original receipt. That gift "receipt" is not going to hold up. It's dumb. And cheap. They might as well load the amount to your membership and have it automatically apply to your next purchase.Edit: I found when I got home that I did have an email too with the "gift card" in it. I wish the associate had told me that would be the case. It would have made it so much better and less stress inducing. I still think they just ought to load it to your membership if they won't give you a physical card. And I think it would be better if they refunded your money in cash if you have the original receipt.

Fix your gas pumps! I've never known a fuel provider to consistently have so many inoperative and/or slow pumps. Very annoying when waiting in line for gas.

Every time I called the phone number for this Sam’s Club I get transferred to some overseas call center. The reason for my call is to ask if I frequently out of stock item has arrived. They always tell me it has, then I drive down to the store and find that they are out of stock. Very frustrating, Poor customer service.

I love the scan and go app. Even when it's busy, I can get it in and out fast. I also love the free delivery for the credit card Plus. I use it all the time. Like things that are bulky, cat food, vinegar, water softener salt etc

The pickup option at the Layton store is never a good experience. I always have to wait a long time to receive my order. One time I received someone else’s order. It took 45 minutes on the phone to figure out the problem, and then I had to return to the club and come in to exchange all my items. There was no compensation after all the frustration and hours it took to finally get my correct order. Today I placed an order with a pickup time of 7-8 p.m. At 7:55 I called because I was at the club but not able to check in. I was informed after waiting on hold for 20 minutes that my order wouldn’t be ready and I would have to come back the next day. I’m not able to come back and placed my order for this day because I needed certain items at a specific time. The reason people chose pickup is so that they can place an order and drive up and have it ready. It’s for ease and convenience. Neither of these things are being accomplished with Sam’s pickup. Many other stores accomplish this with their pickup option. I would discourage everyone from placing an online order from the Layton club.

Sam’s Club is great! Always seems to spend more than I planned to spend when I can in but it is great stuff. The staff is always really helpful.If you aren’t using the Scan & Grab feature inside the app you are missing out. Makes things easy as you get to skip the line and just have them scan your phone on the way out.

This is how my order was shipped to me.( 3rd damaged box for a single order, still waiting for the rest and hoping it isn't like this) Apparently if they damage more then one box and you call back multiple times. They want the damaged items returned so I can get a replacement, wonderful! The people in store are nice but how does this even happen? Guess it doesn't matter that I'm a Plus member won't be renewing thanks for the customer service!

I am deeply disappointed by the appalling experience my husband and I had at Sam's Club on July 29, 2023 around 4:45pm. As upstanding members of this community - my husband is a sheriff's deputy and I am a speech-pathologist in Davis School District- and loyal customers of Sam's Club, we expected better treatment and respect from this establishment.During our routine shopping visit, my husband was subjected to what I believe was racial profiling by one of the store managers. It was embarrassing and distressing, and it made me never want to come back to this location despite it being one of the main places we buy groceries.While shopping, we used the Sam's club app to "scan and go". We double checked and counted our items and paid for them as usual. When we went to leave the store, the person who checks receipts told us he was going to have to detain us. I thought he was joking, but he wasn't. He was listening to a manger on his headset telling him that we did not pay for our groceries and our transaction had been voided. They also accused us of abandoning another cart at a register. We had no idea what they were talking about. We used the same cart for the entire time we shopped, and we never went to the registers (as we used the scan and go app). The man checking receipts said, "In all the time I have worked for Sam's this has never happened before. My manager is telling me I can't let you leave. You have to give us your cart. She said to stop the man in a green tank top". My husband was wearing a green tank top; that is the only detail they had correct in the entire exchange that we had. We thought it was weird they only mentioned my husband when our son and I had been with him the entire shopping trip. I was holding the baby and he was pushing the cart. I scanned and paid for all the items on my phone.After going back and forth, counting our items, counting them again, scanning our items, and making a huge scene, they finally determined that we weren't stealing, and we had paid for everything (as we had told them from the start). The man checking receipts told us we could just go, even though his manager was telling him to hold us there. He was very nice, and seemed incredibly frustrated by his manager on his headset who kept insisting we were stealing. We told them we wanted to talk to this manager, but the checker just told us to go. In the time that they held us at the front of the store they caused a huge back-up of store traffic, and I was starting to cry from being so frustrated and embarrassed, so we just left.We hope that by sharing our disappointing experience, Sam's Club will have a chance to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident and take appropriate disciplinary action against the manager involved, as per your company's policies and anti-discrimination guidelines.. No one should have to endure such humiliation while shopping, regardless of their background. Even if it was just a simple mistake and there actually was another 6'3 African American man wearing a green tank top who abandoned a cart and had his transaction voided- which seems kind of improbable to me since we don't typically see many individuals who look like my husband- the manager should have at least taken the time to come to the front of the store and apologize for the mix up.In light of this deeply distressing incident and the inadequate response, we cannot recommend Sam's Club as a place of business that values its customers and upholds the principles of fairness and respect. We implore the management to take immediate action to address this issue and ensure such incidents like this are prevented in the future.

Sam's was awesome today. Many items on sale or clearance and it was fun walking around and checking out the new items. Used "SCAN & GO" and it was super QUICK!!! If you are not using SCAN & GO, You are missing out and wasting your time. I used the Scan & Go for the "Cafe Scan & Go"...WOW, didn't wait long for my pizza/hotdog combo!
