O stars! Do not recommend taking your pets to be groomed here. We took our shihtzu for one of their holiday specials before the holidays & they cut her eyelid open!! She was taken to ER vet & needed stitches, a cone & medication. afterward, no one called to see how she was doing or anything. Go somewhere else!

The cut was exactly what we wanted for our pup. Groomer was great with him. This was our second time having him groomed with the the same groomer and will continue to use her.

Horrible! My 2 puppies were there for 3 hours when I arrived to pick them up. I was told upfront that it would take longer as she had a large dog ahead of mine thus the 3 hours. Why is Petco scheduling and overlapping services when they aren't capable of completing the services on time? My one pup was in the middle of being groomed and the other had only been bathed. She wanted me to wait another 1 1/2 hours, I said I couldn't. I went to pay and returned to my dog that had only been bathed having his nails clipped by someone who hadn't been trained yet. They cut to the quick and it wouldn't stop bleeding. I finally went to the front and a girl up there set up to take the pup to the vet to get checked out. Basically, the grooming center was out of control. TOO many dogs being groomed and no organization to the chaos. I believe the 3 groomers were doing their best but were all overwhelmed. Below par for quality.

Absolutely loved our first grooming experience for our puppy.It was his first time and Kendra made sure he was comfortable and gave us great tips on how he can get more comfortable with the process for future appointments.You can tell she really cared about him and how he felt during the process. He also looked so stinking cute after!!Thank you Kendra!

I changed to layton because it’s closer to my house. I took my puppy in for the second time getting groomed. I told her I wanted to keep the Teddy Bear puppy cut. She gave me a visual aid and I said not even that length when pointing to the long one. I just had cut her a few weeks prior I just wanted it cleaned up in the spots that are hard for me to get and not to take length off the face at all. She came back and totally chopped her and did worse than I did myself. Never again am I tipping before I see my dog. Carly just got $10 tip for Absolutely noting I asked for. Does anyone do what you ask?

My little pup, Ella, is soooo wiggly and energetic, and Arielle always has so much patience with her. She does a fantastic job every time! 10/10 would recommend Arielle!

OUTSTANDING.....We were in a tough spot with our little sweet Indie Lou. Arielle got us in when she was totally booked on a Saturday. We were desperate and she helped us. When we got there, Indie was so scared but both Arielle and Jess loved on her and calmed her. Honestly, I didn't know what to do but they did. Jess did such an amazing job grooming Indie and she left super happy. I cannot recommend these guys enough. We came from over an hour away and I plan to continue doing that because we have found amazing in the Layton Petco Grooming ladies, Arielle and Jess. THANK YOU both!!!

Alyssa always does an amazing job grooming my Bichon frise puppy, who has anxiety. She is patient and warm, which help ease the process for my pooch. Plus she is thorough and skilled, leaving my dog looking adorable!

I was actual very disappointed this last time I took my dog to get groomed. I paid $70 for supposedly the full service meaning trim and nail trim and when I received my puppy back he looked exactly the same. He just smelled clean. There was a dog that had gotten there at the same time as us and left at the same time as us and had the same groomer and he looked nice and well done but our puppy just looked exactly the same. I have had to cut his fur because it’s long and he gets dirty when he goes potty. I have never had a problem with Petco grooming until this last time I went. I was disappointed by the service and will most likely never come back for grooming.

At this Petco location my doggo has always had the best cut and comes home happy and like himself, no problems. They are so nice and you can tell the groomers care and are gentle with the animals. I will always come back here.I’ve some bad experiences the last couple times at a PetSmart location. My pet comes out shaken and full of anxiety and most the time they don’t even get to cut his hair and have to reschedule me.

Arielle has groomed our dogs for years in your Harrisville store. When she moved to your Layton store we followed her. She is amazing with our dogs. She grooms our dogs exactly the way we want and there are never any surprises. Our dogs love her.

Very friendly and speedy service. The employees aT the front counter were very cheerful and seemed sincerely to care for the dogs in their care. They had my dog back to me in about an hour and were very prompt on letting me know he was ready. I'll definitely be back!

The groomers were very helpful. I loved the way they recommended what I can do to help my puppy with her social skills. We plan on using petcock for puppy classes very soon.

The girl that did our dogs was amazing, she cared and listened to all my concerns.I have been using the same groomer for 2+ years and she retired so it was hard to go to somewhere new but she made me feel comfortable and I will definitely be back and requesting her for my dogs.

I went to Petco and then stopped and used pet corral which is Uptown Bark now. I could not get in after I had a medical issue of my own so I came back to Petco just as a one time thing. BUT ... My dog Dak seem less stressed out when we pick him up. I mean he still stresses but it was different and that was enough for me. Plus, I like that I can see him if I choose while he is being done. If he is less stressed it has the the gals ... and thats my reason. He looks fabulous and smell yummy. THANK YOU

Just left store and 2 damsel fish were not put in my bag as well the shrimp bag rubberband was not tight so when I got home he had no water because NM it wasnall over the upolstru on the back seat.

Helpful and friendly people. Wide assortment of products for cats. Which is why I come here. It's the only store in my area that carries the "clumping" kind of crystals cat litter. And it comes in a light "pink" or "blue" color. Kinda looks like candy 🍬. But do not eat it.Imo - clay cat litter gets a stinky odor when moisture hits it.I use the crystals because there's virtually no smell at all.

Shy was so pretty when I picked her up! Her groomer did a fantastic job with her!
