The USED FOOD store? That's what I jokingly call it. But honestly this place is fun to shop and has great prices.There is a ton of food that is about to expire or just barely expired. But it's totally fine. It's also full of products and home goods that have damage or just open box. This is a fun store to explore.And if you have snacks that are limited supply and your store stopped carrying them head here because they might have a pallet of them

At first I was taken back and confused. As we got deeper in the store they had some really awesome deals. Especially if you are willing to dig. Some stuff was old and not for me but others were great.

Such amazing very cheap deals. Ya some is expired but just check dates before u get it if you're worried about that. Very nice happy friendly kind knowledgeable employees.

Messy messy messy. There is so much chaos here. Prices aren't really all that great on a lot of things. Food is kinda thrown haphazardly all over. If you don't mind digging for deals, smashed up boxes, expiration dates close or past, you will love it. I will stay away. Makes me wonder if the Ogden location has gone downhill, too.

I never quite know what to make of this place. Most of what they have compares with the BDO Ogden location, with some notable exceptions, so it pays to go to both, especially if you're like us and don't live locally. We've got some really great clothing deals. The food bins often have a lot of crunched/smushed things, but you can usually find something worthwhile (my kids love it for cheap snacks). The lighting in this store is a lot better than the Ogden location's, which makes for a more pleasant shopping experience and an easier time finding deals. I also think this location is cleaner overall. We always leave with more than we expected to get, but when you can only visit every few months, that's not a "big deal" (ba-dum-chh!)

Umm…. Are you kidding me!?!This place is LEGIT. No joke, I just spend more at McDonald’s and got 1/2 as much. Grape Sour Patch? Sour Patch Hearts? Matcha Oatmeal…!?I just ate a quart of ice cream for 25¢ and I’m extremely proud of that. I also took home a bunch of other stuff I don’t need.#winning!Hell. Yeah.

It's literally Costco, Walmart, Target, Maverick, etc expired/almost expired product or returned and opened product being sold at the same price as new with a paltry 25% discount on some categories sometimes.For how destroyed stuff is, prices should be way lower.

Their social media posts always make them seem a lot more "in stock" and organized than they really are. It's nice for a quick browse, but I was honestly a bit disappointed in the end.

Hands down the best customer service J.C and Kirsten aswell as melony were beyond helpful there internet was down and with quick problems solving of there manager a gentleman they came up with a fix and working positively as a team they never even skipped a beat i was in and out of the lines in minutes and i had a overflowing cart of stuff im very impressed as a customer and a fellow customer service employee aswell bravo layton

Great deals on coffee!! Live in Wyoming and make a trip at least 2 times a year. Also great gift selection.,and food items ( frozen chicken 60 cents a pound this week)

I honestly don’t understand what’s the issue with these stores! Y’all claim to accept services dogs i take mine then I feel harassed by you guys asking more than once if it’s a service dog let alone you’re following me around the store. Like if it’s a big issue then just don’t allow service animals in your business if this is how you treat customers who have service dogs. Trying to support these little stores but then you guys are so rude about service animals. Same issue happened at the Ogden location. Last time I give this company a try and my money. I rather pay full price for better service than your used up goods and rude service. Thanks again!

You can find everything you need here! Only reason I docked a star was the layout was a little bit confusing, they need more signs and things to let you know where everything is! Wonderful place to buy things though, prices are great and variety of items is too.

Awesome little treasure trove! Happened across this place about a year ago. They have some of EVERYTHING. Discount items from places like target. Love the finds here! Clothes, shoes, toys, outdoor games, curtains, bedding, seasonal, pets, vehicle, art, office, food, camping, ect ect BARGAIN PRICES

I loved the sale on shoes i went and bought like half there supply of shoes... lol it was like shoe heaven just wish that their prices were a bit cheaper on some stuff since the products are returns or unsold stuff from other stores

This is mine and my husbands favorite place to shop. If you're tight on a budget, come to this amazing place. Thank you for making food and living more affordable for us in this economy.P.s. the expired foods really aren't *expired*, it's just a date on the packaging. I've bought over 300 items from here and only 1 of them tasted *expired*. Although I can't say much for the liquid items, as I've only tried the solid food products.

Let's be clear what this place is. They sale overstock items and food that is near and even past its sell by date. If you know you realize that being willing to buy such things can save you a ton of money. If you have issue with this stuff you have been warned and may just want to stay home, but for me the 5 stars is because of the service. I don't think there are many stores that I have received better service. Both via phone calls and Facebook chats I've received great information and wonderful service. In stire they ha e always tebded to be willing to help and search for the item I'm looking for. And it is not just the Layton store as I recently checked and bought something at the Logan store and received equally great service. Thanks for providing wonderful service.

I thought this would be similar to a Big Lots like we have in a different state. Prices were reasonable on food products, BUT most food items were expired. They were some great finds because the container was damaged. Just make sure you check the expiration dates prior to purchasing food products. Some non-food items were more expensive, but can find some great items that are cheaper here than other places.

I love this store and the employees! One recent experience: I returned an electronic item that I couldn’t get to work but I said “If someone gets it to work, here’s my number… let me know.” The next day they called and Lilly let me know what happened …and REMARKABLY did so without making me feel stupid. Ben as well as the managers Jenna and Derek have been great as well.In my opinion anytime I learn the names of store employees FOR POSITIVE REASONS, I know it’s a business I would recommend to others (as I’m clearly doing now) !!!PS If you go their Facebook and sign up to receive messages, you get sent information on deals coming up

It was so fun to walk through this store! There were a lot of fantastic deals! We bought an electric light up scooter for just $10! We saw decent Christmas wrapping paper for 1/2 off. Tons of Funko pops at a great price too! If you’re looking for inexpensive clothing, they have that too.They have food items (lots of things I’ve never seen before). Just be aware that most them are past the “best by” date. This doesn’t mean the food is bad or expired though, but it might not be as fresh.The cashier we spoke with was so helpful! She helped us get signed up to the loyalty program so we can earn points next time we make a purchase.I think we’ll definitely stop by again to see what kind of fun things they have in stock.

I’ve always been reluctant to shop at stores like this bc I don’t like getting “old” or “used” things. But they usually have some super good deals here. Today made me want to give them 5 stars though bc they had a little Easter egg hunt going on and if you found an egg, it was full of coupons! A good, fun idea and got some great deals out of it!

Love this place. It's a bit of a mess, but if you have time. They do have some amazing deals..I got boots from Target that weren't from an old release for 8$ for 8$ over the knee boots for under $10. Are you kidding me! I did purchase a toilet seat, wrong shape so will update with return policy and ease! The downfall is the selection they do have of items example the shoes are majority one size or one color(make-up, shoes, polish) or one style..so it's a bit of a hit or miss for sure..but if you have time to look. You'll find something for a good deal. I do think some bedding is a bit over priced but overall good deals.

Big discounts on canned goods, frozen foods, clothing, makeup, kitcheon items, snack foods and may be close to sell by dates. Items are hit and miss but I always find great buys.
