My brakes unexpectedly gave out on my drive back up to Cache Valley area, and I was just able to pull into this Jiffy Lube last minute. Every employee was very helpful, showing me exactly what the issue was and breaking down how they were going to fix it. It ended up being a bigger issue than initially thought, and they handled it with great expertise and care. I believe it was Justin M. who helped me along the way and he did such a great job keeping me informed and I felt comfortable knowing that he was honest and knowledgeable. Would definitely put my vehicle in their care again!

They were done in the time they said they would be (30 minutes) but they severely misrepresented their pricing On more than one item. Online I put in my vin number and the total estimate was 125.83 for my specific vehicle up to 6 quarts of oil. On my receipt it states they used 6 quarts of oil, but I was charged the following: 109.99 for synthetic oil, 17.99 for oil filter, 14.99 for "oil filter charge", 10.50 for an extra quart of oil (receipt states 5 is included unlike their estimate that says 6 is included), 10.99 for coolant top off, air filter was 36.94. The employee did show me the air filter and stated "it's ½ off the retail price with an oil change to replace it", then at checkout he said it's only 5 dollars off. So they definitely were not honest with the discounts they said they'd give and also over charged for multiple items. I won't be back.

It's good to change your routine. I've been going to Valvoline instant oil change down the street. They're a great little shop and very quick, but they don't do tire rotation, and if there's anything else wrong with your car, they're not allowed by policy to tell you enough detail to fix it yourself. Jiffy lube has mechanics that know how to fix cars. I had a couple of things that I asked about. They either offered to fix, or explained what was needed so that I could fix it. I think I might have paid a little more, because Valvoline is always baraging me with discount coupons in emails. I didn't look though. If you look online, jiffy lube probably has coupons available also.

I just moved to town and I've always gone to jiffy lube in my home town and have always had a good experience. However the kaysville location has disappointed me. When I arrived they told me it would be a 30 minute wait. Great, however it ended up being over 2 hours. When they called me up to pay they haven't even done the emission inspection and told me to sit back down and it would be another 5 minutes. 15 minutes later i was still waiting.( not to mention there were workers just standing around talking about what they were going to do for lunch) then i finaly heard one of them ask another to run the emission test on the honda... 20 minutes afer that thwy called me up to check out. They wouldnt take the coupon i was emailed YESTERDAY.... needless to say i wont be going backDo not recommend

I stopped here be because it was close to where I was at. They had a sign that has 20dollars off specific oil changes so I pulled in. It not only took them close to an hr when I was the only one there but they toll me everything looked great brakes and tires. The only thing it needed was a cabin filter. When all said and done I was told it would be 107 and some change but when it come tome to pay it was 115 and change. Also the big thing was that a week later I have metal on metal rubbing on my brakes so thankyou for your service!!!

I came in at 1:00 pm to get my emissions done, it’s been 3 hours later and they still haven’t gotten to my car. There were 4 cars ahead of me. And there are 5 mechanics! I’ve been seeing them chatting and hanging around smoking but nobody working on a car!*Update, after 5 hours, I finally am out of the store… as you can see in the photo listed below, this is why it took so long to finish my car.

My friend yesterday took his car in to get his rotors and brake pads replaced around 2:30ish. They told him they'd call him when his vehicle was ready to be picked up. Around 5:20ish they called him and told him his car was ready to be picked up. I drove him to the shop and dropped him so he can pay and pick up his call. Tell me why he didn't get his car until after they closed almost 6:30p.m after they just told him his car was ready to be picked up? He told me there wasn't anybody there to speak to him about his car for a long time and that once there was someone they told him his car wasn't ready. So why call and lie and say the car was ready when in fact it wasn't. Wasted an hour sitting around and especially after paying $800 for the parts. If you want fast and good service, this isn't the right location for you. There's better mechanic shops out there that'll treat you better as a customer than here.

I would highly recommend not going to this location.So just found out this location put the wrong transmission fluid in my car a few months back, so I had to spend another 200$ on getting the right fluid in my car with a different mechanic.The people working there were really polite. But the wait was ridiculous. I went back in 2 other times after they worked on my transmission and serpentine belt because they forgot to connect some stuff back together that they had undone when working on the car, which led to other problems. And now I’m finding out they didn’t even put in the right transmission fluid to begin with which means I wasted that money there.I don’t even know if the same crew works there now as they did when I went there so it might not even be the current crew that messed up, but regardless I’m never going to any jiffy lube again.

i got right in and got right out. it was probably the fastest time i have ever experienced at Jiffy Lube. they also didn't try to upsell anything which i appreciate, though corporate may frown on that.

Arrived and was told there was one car ahead of me and that it would take about 30 minutes to do my oil change, emissions, and register my car. The car in front of me was there for the same thing. Two and a half hours later they told me my car passed emissions and they did the oil change, but the system was down and they couldn't register it. I would need to come back another time to do that. I don't know what the employees were doing while I was there, but there was no reason it should've taken so long to do the service. There was no new sticker for the next oil change and the oil life wasn't reset in the car. The quality of service at this place has dropped dramatically in the past year. They're close and convenient, but I won't be going back there. My advice is to find somewhere else to go. I will be.Service: Oil change

I was impressed by the white glove service I received for just an oil change. I was acknowledged by almost every single staff member and called sir by all of them. Then, when they were walking me to my car they opened my car door for me with the A/C on and wished me a great day and thanked me for my business. Great place 👌

I came in a for an emissions inspection. When I arrived, they told me I would be in and out in thirty minutes. That was important because I was tight on time. Over an hour later I asked for an update. The technician came in a few minutes later and told me I could take my car. When I asked about the inmisiones test, I was told their machine wasn’t working and they are unable to run the test. WASTED MY TIME AND DID NOT SONTHE JOB.

The workers were great I didn’t feel pressured to buy any of the extras they offer. Had an oil change but after diving a few miles my check engine light came on turns out one of the air hoses was not reconnected. But on the plus side after researching how to put the hose back I now know how easy it is to change my air filter myself.

Jiffy Lube in Kaysville leaves a lot to be desired. Today 8/11/23 I brought my truck in for in emission inspection. I was told the wait would be 15 minutes which I could handle. After 45 minutes of patiently waiting I asked how much longer the wait would be... Again I would told the wait would be about 15 minutes. A short time later I noticed my truck was pulled into the shop and figured they had started to work on my truck. After waiting for 2 hours I went to check on my truck and found they hadn't even started to work on it. I was so upset I left and went home.These people do not deserve to be in business. I have never written a bad review and today is my first. I am done with Jiffy Lube.

They pulled the cabin air filter to try an upsell me on a new one. I politely declined, so they forced the old one back in vs making sure it was seated properly. The result was that my car sounded like a single prop airplane. Also, I got home and the next day there was oil all over my garage floor since the tech didn’t tighten down the oil filter enough. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Go anywhere else but the kaysville jiffy lube, slowest service ever for an oil change and emissions. Waited two hours and 25 minutes and there were only 2 cars in front of me that were finished about 30 minutes after I got there. The worst part is they didn’t even do the emissions, truck has 36000 miles on it and said their machine wasn’t working. Essentially waited 2 hours and 25 minutes for an oil change, and now have to go to a different place to get the emissions done. On top of that they forgot to put the mileage sticker on so had to go back and get it. Can’t believe how slow they are. Place up the street is way faster, only came here because had a coupon turns out it was a big mistake. Won’t be back, won’t recommend. Quite possibly the worst experience I’ve had at any business.Update: they say to reach out to them and they don’t even reply. I’m not surprised.

Got the car registered today. Had been in a few weeks ago for emissions and sadly it didn't pass then. Got it fixed and went back. They could have charged me again for the test since the allotted time had passed but they did not. The manager helped us out and he was super nice

I got my emissions done and it was very convenient to register my car; however, feel like waiting a little over an hour is a bit excessive. Also, the manager was a little abrasive towards me. There was something on the results that said failed and no one spoke to me how it all went or explained it… nothing.

I tried several times over the course of a couple weeks to get my emissions test done but they never had the right staff to perform the test. I ended up going to the Jiffy Lube location in Layton and they were great. Got me in and out no problems!

They damaged my cars electronics! I drove into the shop with no lights on the dashboard and when I picked it up the check engine light was on and a frightening red warning light that I have NEVER seen is now on! The tech could not tell me what the new trouble codes were even after he did an internet search. I was waiting an interminable length of time and i had to leave. I looked up the codes in 30 seconds and found they indicated a bad BCM. Now the power doors do not work and the repair may be over a thousand dollars!

This was the first time I went to this Jiffy lube. I did it because it was closer to my new home. I will go back to the Jiffy Lube in Ogden next time, it is a few miles longer drive, but that location and staff is worth the drive.

I can’t thank everyone at this location enough for everything they did to help me, especially Kristina(the manager) and James.I had to have my car towed in due to my alternator failing. Once it was fixed and I left, my car unfortunately stalled at a red light. Thankfully I was able to get it running again and immediately went back, where it was discovered that there were multiple issues that the diagnostic didn’t originally show.They explained to me in detail what needed to be done and broke down the cost of everything and why it was needed. I don’t know much about cars, but enough to know that they were being honest; compared to most places I’ve been to that tried to rip me off in the past.Thanks to them I have a working vehicle that should last me much longer than I anticipated!If these people don’t get a raise for going above and beyond helping someone who desperately needed it, I’d be extremely disappointed in the company for not acknowledging the great people that work for them.I’ll definitely be telling everyone I know to go to this Jiffy Lube location!Services: Tires, Auto engine diagnostic, Battery, Oil change

As oil changes go, this was on par with other places. Restroom wasn’t very clean and they were out of hot chocolate at the coffee bar. The the technicians left a bunch of oily handprints on and around my windshield.UPDATE: a few weeks after visiting the Jiffy Lube, I was required to get into my glove box. Upon opening the glove box door, the entire door fell off. After some investigation, I found that when the technician tried checking the cabin air filter, they improperly put my vehicle back together and damaged some of the retention clips on the glove box and cabin filter housing.I contacted Jiffy Lube corporation and expressed my concern about the damage to my vehicle, and the poor quality of work done. Thankfully, I personally was able to fix everything and get the cabin, air filter, housing and glove box door, re-installed correctly, but at no time should a customer ever visit a jiffy Lube and then leave only to have parts of their car fall off as a result of them being broken or improperly installed.The location manager followed up with me and informed me that the person that worked on the cabin air filter my vehicle had been fired for stealing stuff out of other peoples cars. I understand it’s difficult to find staff in the current economic climate, however, I would rather wait a little longer , knowing the individual working on my vehicle is experienced, professional, and trustworthy

Waited for 3 hours to get an oil change and tires rotated. There were 4 cars ahead of me when I arrived but they all left within about 45 mins of my arrival. I was the only car in the bay for 2 hours and 15 mins with no updates on my vehicle. Terrible service. Wouldn't recommend.Service: Oil change

This review consists of 4 visits. 4 attempts to get emissions done. We even called before the second one. Still unable. They have a new tech for emissions and that is likely part of their issue. On the 4th visit after waiting for 30 min and 0 movement in the bays, I had to bounce. Unfortunate because I would rather do business in Kaysville. Also unfortunate that I have to think that this is a management problem as well. If you take the risk like I did multiple times that's on you. 2 stars I think the employees at least want to try

I went in to ask about a tune up. Then I told them I had a problem with my car misfiring. They said they would fix it. They did a bunch of unnecessary work. Didn’t fix the problem and charged me over $500. They manipulated my situation to make money and didn’t even fix my problem. 2 days after I took my car to them my check engine light came on. Do not go to these guys. They’re crooks. I contacted the franchise owner and he didn’t even help. Offered me a free oil change. What a joke!Updated: there was a comment by another jiffy lube employee that said he would help. I contacted him but nope same thing. Offered a free oil change. They probably do that so you’ll go in and then they can try to get you to purchase more unnecessary work. What a scam!

This place is convenient, which is why I keep coming i guess. Everytime I do come, it takes longer than I expect (..and their estimates), it's more expensive than it should be and you get lots of upselling options. Why is a simple oil change $130 and take 90 mins, when it doesn't appear to be busy? There was 2 cars ahead of me when I arrived and was told it would be about 30-35 mins.

It seems to take forever. Whenever I go here I feel like their time estimates are way off and my car gets put on the back burner. Rock chip repair should not take 2 hrs and and emissions test should not take 1.5 hours. Kinda crazy.
