Don’t do the consignment program!! We dropped it off in March of 2023 in hopes that they could sell our camper. Communication stopped as soon as we wouldn’t pay the $277 deep clean fee to clean our already clean camper. They then reached out again asking for $185 to winterize our camper after we had already winterized. The consignment program is basically a money pit. Prepared to be totally left in the dark, the only time communication took place was when they were trying to get money out of us or ask us to come pick up the trailer. When we showed up a year later to pick up or camper after it didn’t sell we noticed significant interior damage that happened in the year time frame on their lot. When we brought it up to the manager Austin, he took no responsibility. It felt like talking to a child when he said “if you don’t think I’ll look into it then I won’t” what are we 10 years old??? Oh and the cherry on top is that they lost our keys and we had to wait for them to “find” our keys. We ended up leaving with a master key that they want us to mail back to them after they mail us a new set of keys. Basically don’t do the consignment program unless you want a damaged trailer and lost keys.

We had looked at a zillion trailers and finally narrowed it down. I told our sales guy Adam I wanted a rear living space with tons of seating and gigantic windows in every open wall. Then Adam showed us a Keystone Cougar with the windows, the seating, three slides, within our towing weight capacity, and an insanely gorgeous interior. But it was brand new, top of the line, and double our price range. I said to my husband, "We gotta find this in an older model." Adam heard me and said, "Camping World has 208 dealer across the United States with a huge inventory. Let me see what I can find." Next day, he sent a link. Oh my word! It was my dream Keystone Cougar and it was super clean, and half the cost in Idaho. I am not into hugging sales people I just met, but when I saw our trailer for the first time, I was so over-the-top, ecstatic-happy, I hugged Adam. Go to Camping World and ask for Adam! Hugs are for sure optional. But when Adam finds your dream trailer in your price range, you may not be able to stop yourself.

We found the trailer we wanted, however the "monthly payments" that are listed in their ads are not even in the same ballpark. You must have perfect credit and a 20 year loan, that we were told was impossible to get for used trailers & RVs. Very misleading in my opinion. With that being said, our salesman, Adam, was very knowledgeable and listened to our needs and wants, and worked with us in getting a great deal on what we wanted!

Highly recommended staying away from them. They won’t leave you alone but take FOREVER to get you your trade in value and then BAM when they get you a price (Jori) then 5 months later finally hits you with a offer but bug you the entire time and offer you a 1/4 the price of the value. This place is garbage and I wouldn’t be surprised if the other locations are trash. I’ll trade my trailer in being I need a bigger garage but screw this place the customer service sucks. Also you don’t strive on anything so camping world don’t leave a review to call you because I will not. Get your salesman in check or don’t not my loss. 🤷♂️

I can't say enough good things about our experience, we had a very specific situation and our Salesman Jori went above and beyond for months to find the right trailer, then he and Alyssa in finance worked hard to make it work. To go a step further Zach the tech was amazing and then Edwin who not only delivered our 5th wheel but did some difficult manuvering to put it were we wanted and stayed to get the whole thing level set up and plugged in well past the time most people would have left us to deal with it. Just exceptional service and people at every turn.

Update:Lance from the Kaysville store took the time to reach out with a phone call to apologize for the way we had been treated. As a result we decided to go back and meet with him later in the day. Lance was very professional and courteous to us. I appreciate the time he took to make us feel valued as customers and to start working through our decisions process. Thanks.March 29th, 2024.I don't often give negative reviews but the treatment we just received at Camper World in Kaysville was appalling. My husband and I are starting the process of figuring out what we are looking for in a retirement trailer, a process that takes us time. My husband had previously visited and talked with a salesman explaining that we were not in the market to buy just yet, and was told to feel free to look around as the trailers were open.We stopped in today so he could show me the floor plan styles he was thinking about. The two women working at the front desk greeted us with hostility. I honestly felt like dog poop they had stepped in would have been more welcome. The salesman my husband had previously met with was not in, and the front desk insisted that we must meet with a new sales person and have an appointment before we could look at anything. I don't know if it is company policy if they were both having a bad day, but this is ridiculous.I despise "hard sell" tactics and to be hit with them just walking in the door, is not ok. My husband and I could pay cash for the trailers we are considering but we will definitely take our businesses elsewhere after this experience.

I dropped my camper off 1 year ago for the consignment program. At first everything was great. Fast and friendly service! We spoke to David Volante. Then came the sales emails for just $277.50 deep clean, then winterized for $185.00 (our camper was winterized, no need to do it again.) when we would decline these offers (because we already cleaned and winterized it upon arrival) we would be ignored. We emailed and said we’d wish to pick the camper up. NO response. We emailed and said never mind can you keep it on consignment. NO response. Most the time I’d call leave a voicemail and email just to get a response via e-mail weeks later… not usually the way you speak to customers when you are in possession of their property. Then comes the email to pick up because they cannot sell. We respond with date and time that we will be picking up the camper. NO RESPONSE AGAIN. we call and email again and finally confirm date. Flash forward to today, I show up to pick up my camper and no one is available. So we wait. Finally the camper comes and we do a walkthrough. Among all of the new damage that manager states is from “weathering” even though it’s on the inside in places that would never be exposed to weather conditions. They also lost our keys to our camper… yes no where to be found. We ended up heading home to Colorado with no keys to our coach on a promise they will be mailed. But we know how good they are at responding at this point so we will see…. Manager Austin says that they will not take any responsibility for any damage whatsoever because the damage on my camper should be expected. Ridiculous!

Wife and I had a great experience here. We worked with Leo and our time with him was excellent! He made note of all our wants and needs for our next trailer. With his great knowledge of the inventory we found our beautiful Keystone quick! He was very honest with the financing and gave us plenty of time to decide on the deal; Hour after they were technically closed. When we picked up our trailer the tech that showed us how everything worked was also great. Unfortunately, I can't remember his name. But he answered every question and had some great Dad jokes to go along with the tour. Wrapping this up, we had an amazing experience here. Very professional and super clean facilities. The only negative thing about our experience was communication. It would of been nice to have updates on our pick up appointment through text or call. I ordered a hitch but never got confirmation that it would be there on the pickup date. So we headed down to pick up our trailer hoping everything was ready to go. With a little communication our experience would have been 5 stars for sure!

I recently had the misfortune of visiting Camping World for both service and sales, and it was an experience I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy. Let me walk you through the horror show that unfolded:Firstly, the service department seemed to be operating in a parallel universe where efficiency and competency were mere myths. After waiting for what felt like an eternity just to speak to someone, I was greeted by staff who looked like they would rather be anywhere else specially this "Manager" who was JOEL TURNER that make everything even worse. Their lackadaisical attitude was only rivaled by their incompetence. My simple requested it was a a better way to comunication with there customers. But wait, it gets worse. I foolishly thought that perhaps the sales department would offer some semblance of redemption. In conclusion, if you enjoy wasting your time, being treated like a nuisance, and paying top dollar for subpar service and products, then by all means, visit Camping World. But if you value your sanity and hard-earned money, steer clear of this nightmare of a dealership. You'd have a better experience pitching a tent in the middle of nowhere than dealing with Camping World.

Avoid these people. They took advantage of my single mom trying to buy her first camping trailer. This place is a freekin joke. Make everything sound great and stabb them in the back. Wont be going there for nothing, the told my mom a price and did something different on paperwork and lied on the fees. So much for being excited for a trailer. Yeah should have looked better but hard when your excited to go camping and get the opportunity to get a trailer and get screwed by these guy's

Took my trailer there for a minor accident repair on Oct 18, 2023 - they left the trailer sitting outside in inclement weather unprotected for 4 months. We went up there in February and were told "they forgot " about the repairs. I looked at the damage and by that time water got into the walls and all the wood started to rot.i was told they dropped the ball because they were short-staffed and the insurance advisor quit. Nearly 6 months after we dropped off the trailer we went to pick it up - told Megan Melina the day prior we were coming (150 miles drive) and they didn't have the trailer ready. Once again "someone dropped the ball". Then there were issues with the bill and we had to go home empty-handed. Today we went to get the trailer - ANOTHER 150 mile drive and we got no I'm sorry or what can we do to make this right . Just here is the bill - they changed my insurance over $11,000 for free repairs that we were told at drop off were minor. After buying 4 trailers there and don't business with them for over 14 years we WILL AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE AVOIDING THE PLAQUE.If you need to get work done on your trailer - take it SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!

Paid $3000 to make sure everything worked. Unfortunately the oven igniter did not work and they said it was cosmetic so they would not repair it. The generator was difficult to start but they said it’s probably because the fuel tank is empty even though it showed a quarter full, the couch frame was bent and the legs were very loose, but they wouldn’t repair that but they did give me a gift card. I got home and the generator exhaust I found was zip tied to the frame with plastic zip ties. The fuel door was not closed properly, and the fuel hose fell out on my drive home and ruined the hose . the finance person was very pushy on buying a four year insurance policy for 15 years of payments, to cover anything that might go wrong with the trailer. Camping world did not offer the 30 day warranty like some of the other dealerships so the trailer was sold as is as it was used The sales person did try to help us with all those issues but the people in the office just said no Other than that we’re generally happy. It’s a nice trailer. And hope everything works when I go out to use it.

Avoid purchasing from this location at all costs! From the moment they happily took my money to now 8 months later I have had nothing but issues. My RV continues to experience issue after issue and I’ve been treated by everyone at this location and corporate like scum ever since. My first outting in this RV resulted in a broken refrigerator that won’t cool, pieces of the trailer falling off with nails hanging out almost hitting my children, electrical outlets that didn’t work etc. When I brought it back I was told “this is normal” and was put on a waiting list of weeks for the repairs and upon escalating was able to drop off and we missed the summer season of our brand new camper. Upon getting it back, the fridge again broke on the first outting again. I’m done trying to work with camping world as they’ve made it clear that after purchasing you no longer matter! Good luck on your purchase wherever you make it and I hope you have a better experience than me!

I bought a Winnebago from Rob Mahas. Rob could not have been any better to work with. He was very patient with us and his knowledge of different units is incredible. We really appreciated his help in selecting the perfect RV for our family. We got a fair deal and the delivery of the RV was super easy and smooth. Highly recommended!

Needed parts for our tire minder. An employee who knew nothing about TireMinder said someone would be right with us. After finding some of the parts for our selves, no one came to help. We went to check out. The cashier informs us our Good Sam is expired so no discounts. Odd I just got an email today that my membership is expiring soon! This is typical service we get every time we visit a Camping world.

Camping World of Billings Mt. did a great job for me with the service of my RV. JOYCE in the service dept and her team helped me get resolved some serious manufacture issues with my new Coleman trailer. They worked with warranty to get things covered as well as some regular items I needed done such as winterizing. Thanks Camping World Billings and Joyce for a job well done!!S Burtnett, Billings MT

Had an awesome experience with Jeff and Jimmy buying our new trailer. Jeff was super nice and took us around to look at trailers we were interested in and showed us some that were similar, but never pushed anything on us which was really nice. Once we found ours, that was it. Jimmy was awesome at running all of the numbers and showing us what ALL our payment options were and went way out of his way to get better rates and discounts. Best place to buy a trailer!!! Mike showed us around our new trailer and how to use everything and thanks to Buddah (Landon) for making sure we were taken care of.Update: was sold a trailer that was falling apart and it has been like pulling teeth to get anything done. DO NOT BUY FROM CAMPING WORLD!!!!!

Kaden F. showed us everything they had that met or almost met our very strict requirements. He is very knowledgeable about travel trailers and we will definitely contact him when we decide to upgrade. Amazing sale prices but we weren't going to "settle" on any of our requirements.

Everything went smoothly on our purchase of a trailer and trade in of the old trailer! Linda, Landon, and Shane were thoughtful of us, knew our specific needs, actually talked to us not through us! We were especially impressed by the guys from the Service Department - Tray and Kyle and his team that transferred our equalizer hitch to the new trailer- and made all of the adjustments! They had it ready while we were finalizing!! All we had to do was drive out of the lot with our new trailer!! Tray had the trailer cooled when we walked into it for the final check, which was very nice since it was 99 degrees outside!

This review would be way too long and frustrating to write out all the details that occurred with our experience at this location. But a few week's estimate turned into 5 months of no communication, multiple visits with the expectation it was complete only to learn on arrival the main thing I brought it in for wasn't even looked at. Months of unreturned voicemails, to the point of having to call the department manager on multiple occasions so he could ask his employees to please call me back. All I can reccomend is to take your rig somewhere else if you need work done, it wasn't worth the headache to us and will not be returning for any future work.

Well here is camping worlds response to my catalytic converters being cut off in their lot!!! I’m amazed at the no big deal attitude Miss Hannah has!Good afternoon Lucinda,My name is Hannah and I am the new CSS for the Kaysville store. Paola sent me a message that you had sent her. It is my understanding that the service manager has been working with you, and you actually had a meeting with him and the advisor previously regarding the situation with items being stolen off your camper. Please be advised that Camping World is no liable for lost or stolen items while the unit is on the lot. This is not a regular occurrence, but can happen at any of our locations. I truly apologize that this happened, as I understand it is a huge inconvenience. I see noted that you will be working with your insurance to get this taken care of, and that the location was in contact with you as of 9/1 to go over the repairs that were approved by your extended service contract and parts that were ordered. Please let me know if there is anything further I can do to assist you.Sincerely,Hannah CooperCustomer Service SpecialistCamping World - Gander RVDon’t take your motorhome here!!! 4/18/2022 Edit:After going through the camper at camping world, there was a small handful of things I found that I didn't like, but the techs got the stuff taken care of there. It was a little concerning that things like brake wiring resting on leaf springs and loose construction screws all over the place didn't get fixed without me saying something.Fast forward a week until after my first camping trip to find out that the shower and sink both leak grey water into the interior of the RV. The shower hot leaks more water into the interior of the RV. There are hundreds of metal chunks in the cabinets and under the beds, a few ended up working themselves into the main area and I stepped on them. I ended up finding about 10 other loose items, not properly installed items etc. So I call the service department to let them know that my brand new RV isn't even really usable...and the response I get was "cool story, bring it to us in June". They didn't even ask what was wrong, nothing...so not only am I not be able to use my brand new RV for months, but they will extend how long they have it due to not having any information before hand.Called the sales person I had, she promised me her manager would call to try and help. No such call ever came.Bought a 2022 Jayco camper from Rachel at the Kaysville camping world. This is my first camper so I had a million questions and concerns. Everyone was great at getting us all setup.

Cindy at Camping World in Kaysville is awesome! She's helped us many times and sold us our best trailer yet! Now we're looking to downsize. She's the one to go to hands down! Also, the store is nice, cheerful, and clean. They have free soda and popcorn to keep the kids happy when you're there for a long time. They have a great selection of RV's too!

Easy buying experience. Landon, Mike, and Glen were very helpful during the whole process. We are very excited to start camping with our new trailer, and having the Good Sam program is definitely something to look forward to. Even after we left and had some trouble on the road, Glen came out to see what he could do to help us. Excellent customer service through and through, they'll take care of their customers!

Sales was great. After we make the deal, the guy that checked out the trailer saw several things that had been done by the previous owner. One of these he noted was the electrical (110) plug was wired wrong. He replaced it with one that would not fit in the trailer. See the photo of Camping World solution. Also, I noted that the main key to the trailer was broken off. Brian promised that both the plug and the key would be replaced and this was documented. 6 weeks later, all I get is that the parts are on order. Today, I noted that there is no temporary tag visible in the back of the trailer and we still have not received our Utah plate.I'm fit to be tied.

Our experience over all was very good. We had a good sales person and they walked us around many options that would work for what we described. The finance team was very friendly and easy to work with. The checkout team was awesome and went threw everything in great detail and when we asked for a few other things to be show to us on the trailer they were happy to help. As I said it was a great experience for the most part. We did have a few concerns. Because out sales person was new there was some I formation that was not taken care of that we need to supply and was not told about. When they figured it out they were needing it at that time and we were busy doing other things. The person that detailed the trailer before we got there did not replace the batteries in the smoke detectors and they were beeping. When we did the walk through. Our guys that help is there took care of it for us.Thanks for everything.
