They didn't lie. Best jerky in the state. A must go! Great excuse to take a drive up the uintas for the day. The smoked trout is amazing

Stopped on a whim since hubby likes jerky. "Free samples" sign displayed but none available. Bought 2 types of jerky and a box of a pine nut cookies... Pricey, will share with family. Cute little country store.

Best gourmet delicatessen shop. Prices are a bit on the high side, but the products are well worth it. Smoked trout, salmon, and cheese. You get to pick the smoke level on some packets. Very rustic yet clean little shop

This is a great little general store which carriers a wide selection of items for your next excursion. Local smoked trout, smoked cheeses, gluten free items, some camping equipment, and they make coffee and sandwiches in-house. Make sure to stop by when you're driving along 150.

It was a very quiet town with this little gem in the Center. My Grandfather and I stopped in and picked up some of their amazing jerky and smoked salmon.thank you to the two lady's who for the most part invited us to their town my Grandfather enjoys your jerky keep up the great work.

Pricey? Heck ya. When people say it's pricey, well, I'm estimating that smoked fish is about $100.00 per pound. I am not kidding. How many dollar signs is this place? I'll give it 7 out of 5. $$$$$$$

Stopped here to get some coffee after a camping trip that could have been better. They have some amazing lattes here. They don't overload it with sugar and it was hot but not too hot so you couldn't drink it. The lady at the counter was very friendly too. They have a good selection of items useful for camping and relaxing in the Uintas. We ended up buying some smoked salmon, a mushroom field guide, 2 lattes, a hat and some earrings. Spent a good amount, but it's worth it.

Highly recommend the Jerky! We stopped by today and the lady was very friendly and helped us out even though they where closed. They also sell a wide variety of items from Gluten Free foods to hiking and fishing supplies. I bought a book on rock hounding areas and recommend picking one up to hike or explore the Kamas area. Thank You for the great service!

Another must-stop on the way to (or back from) your camping/hiking adventure in the Wasatch National Forest. This small, family owned smoke house and convenience store sells items for your basic outdoor needs besides smoked items, drinks, sandwiches, sunscreen, gifts, coffee and much more. Highly recommend checking it out.

I first tried the jerky from this place when a young lady was selling it in Moab at the Easter Safari and I got hooked on it. Awesome stuff. The smoked trout is great too. When I've stopped in while driving through the canyon or camping I always visited to get my jerky, trout, and some of the local sarsaparilla they sold too. I need to make another visit soon.

Awesome my favorite place to go Get jerky for my self and they have dog jerky that my pup loves!!! Also its a small store but that small store has everything you would need to camp/fish outdoors. Great customer service and during the summer when they have the grill going on weekends omg bacon burger yummmmmmmy. Forgot get there jerky,all flavors!!! Also the fish so so good especially the salmon and trout smoked

Love the Smokehouse! We get all our smoked salmon and trout from them, stop by in our way Mirror Lake Highway for sandwiches and an AWESOME latte and last year we bought gift baskets through them for our family for Christmas - HUGE hit! Thanks Jenn and Dave for all you do to make the Smokehouse GREAT!

Small roadside store with in-house smoked fish, jerky, basic food, etc. for campers and travelers. I had a nice chat with the owner, turns out he and I had a common connection in Dutch Harbor, Alaska of all places.A bit pricey but very good jerky and fish. I recommend you stop by and try it.

I’m not from the area but still think about my one and only visit to this store 7 years ago. They have the best pulled pork sandwiches I’ve ever had in my life. They’ve ruined me for others.
