I love this place. What a beautiful view! Great venue for music and celebration events. Wonderfully manicured outdoor areas. The lounge/bar/restaurant is wonderful. Great food and drinks. You have to try the poutine! Incredible!! I proposed to my fiancé next to the lake! It is a wonderful spot! Great stop on your next trip to the Kamas area!

I actually come here for the mountain bike trails just to the north and I gotta' say, they are incredible! Whomever they had help develop the downhill routes really deserves a great deal of credit. They are so much fun! Also the aspect of the trails means they are some of the first alpine/mountain trails to open up in the spring. But yeah, I really love these trails and am so grateful they invested in building them.

I came here primarily to ride the mountain bike trails. As a coach for a high school mountain biking team, and having one of our races at this venue, I needed to ride the trails and check them out for my teenage athletes. As far as the property itself it's nice enough the trails have a lot of potential, but there is one minor negative as far as living here goes. If you are the right kind of person this might actually be a positive, but they seem to have an awful lot of festivals and events going on. I don't think I would like to live here because of that. I prefer a much more quiet neighborhood to live in.

Can’t say too much other than very disappointed. Called when we were out and the voice message said they open at 12. Get there and they don’t open till 4pm. Just said “oops, must not have changed it yet” we went to the notch instead.

Love how this area has privately and on their own developed multiple mountain biking trails AND best of all, allow public access and use of the area!As to the trails themselves, they have done a great job with having several downhill only directional trails with lots of fun features. It's a bit of a drive for us from SLC to get here, but we still make the trip several times a year to ride this awesome trail system. Thanks High Star Ranch!!!

I've only ever been for the mountain biking trails. They are SO much fun and well-marked. Not to mention the backdrop is incredible. I really appreciate the land owners for allowing their creative people(s) to develop the trails!

This place is not good! The food and alcohol in the Dejoria center is vastly overpriced, as well as incredibly cheaply made. The staff at the center is also extremely uptight, will not be returning for the next concert.

Closing the mountain bike trails to the public and then charging exorbitant prices for tours is a joke, never got to even ride on the trails here and now they're closed off for good. Thanks for nothing you greedy owners that are ruining the High Star Ranch and going against what you agreed to not do with the previous owner of this property.

My wife and I moved here in 2016 and absolutely love it. If you love a lifestyle of hiking, biking, skiing, camping, horseback riding, etc., there is not a better place to live. The restaurant is great, the concerts at the Dejoria Center are fantastic. Free concerts on the lawn in the summer are fun for all. I can't say enough good about this place.

High-end community centered around the Dejoria Center and equestrian facilities. Good hiking/mtn bike trails on property. Always a pleasure to show property here.

This review is for the ranch as a wedding venue. The venue is beautiful! The “wedding tree” where they have ceremonies is large, beautiful and provides shade. The barn is great for dancing or dinners. The “country store” (not sure why it’s named that) where the bride and her party get ready is great and very spacious. Beautiful wedding venue!

I don't know anything about the ranch itself, but the mountain biking is pretty fun. Lots of nice trail building occuring. Could use some more trees though. It gets pretty hot and sunny, particularly on the lower trails.

Beautiful place and they were all very accommodating. Our coworkers and their families really enjoyed this place and all of the outside games they provided us with.

Went to meet clients for dinner and drinks and thought wow...nice venue. And then they seated a group for a birthday gathering 3 tables away who allowed their children to run and play on their stage with no thought to the other patrons. I asked the server...who was a kid herself...if something could be done about the noise....and nothing was. It's really quite a sad commentary that parents will not control their children in a restaurant and the establishment does nothing about it. Another table left because of this....so I finished my cocktail called the clients I was supposed meet and told them not to bother showing up. I got my mediocre food to go and ate it in the parking lot. Very disappointed. My average outlay at client meetings is $300 to $500. This establishment lost out. And I will spread the word regarding the terrible service throughout my business contacts. All hat...no cattle!!!

We went there for dinner and cocktails the night Michael McDonald played. We spent about $150.00 on dinner and cocktails for two. After paying our bill we noticed that the venue doors were wide open and wanted to have a look for future concerts. We were approached by a very rude woman (usher?) Who loudly stated this is not a free concert YOU NEED TO LEAVE! Never asking if we had tickets. We were not trying to sneak in (this artist is not our style though he sounded great). You would think after spending the evening in their restraunt and a chunk of change we would be treated at the very least decently. We have not been back since and doubt we will ever attend a concert here. Too bad food was great and wait staff excellent. You need to train your event staff in customer service!!

Food was good but our server was terrible. She was ok at first but after our appetizer she left a pitcher of my husband's drink then disappeared and forgot all about us. Five tables were eating their entrees before we caught the eye of the hostess, who unlike our waitress was gracious and very apologetic. Somehow the kitchen did not get our order. In the end they comped our meals and packed them to go for us. I thought it interesting that the manager didn't even come talk to us.The atmosphere was fine if your not looking for a quiet romantic dinner. The lighting was a bit bright for my liking.I had halibut and it was really good. My husband had filet mignon and said the flavor was a bit bland but good otherwise.

Went biking today with a buddy and had a blast! The trails can get pretty technical due to the high number of switchbacks and rocky terrain.
