I worked on her and her husband cabin doors years ago… She showed me some of her work and told me how she teaches others how to start their own alpaca farm. She had two indoor dogs and I believe 3 outdoor dogs that protected the alpacas from predators.. She was a very friendly lady. I enjoyed working on the knotty alder doors and fixing the bad installs from someone who didn’t know what they were doing. She was a great person… I know the company I was working for had issues trying to build them correctly. I was constantly trying to get them to fix the way they were building them. I had to tell one guy to explain to the other guy’s to glue up the boards were they bowed opposite of each other so that the doors would come out straight.. They were glueing the boards together with the bow’s going the same direction and it caused more problems and doors to be thrown away and wasted money… After being laid off for an injury, the owner ended up closing down a year later and everyone at moulding FX lost their jobs and lost out on their paychecks for the last two weeks of work… Gary Anderson was the Owner and I found out that this was the 10th or 11th business he has had. I don’t know how many more businesses he has had since 2007 or 8.. But if you work for him be careful and make sure to get a back up job when you feel he’s going to close his doors..

Very friendly people, adorable alpacas. Worth a short visit during open barn days. Not a huge space so you won't spend a long time there, but fun for kids to see the alpacas. If you're going that direction, go get biscuits and coffee from Woodland Biscuit Co first.

If you get the chance to go during Open Barn Days, you really should. Proceeds from sales of fiber, yarn, and alpaca products helps feed and take care of the animals, and the animals are super cute too.

Loved the Blue Moon Alpaca Farm!!!! The alpacas were adorable and gave kisses and snuggles. Linda (owner and alpaca whisperer) was very informative and fun. So glad we stopped by💚

Always love Open Barn Days at Blue Moon. The alpacas are so cute! The landscape is gorgeous too, and it's nice to get out of the city to a quiet, calm place for the day.

I LOVE this place! I have been going as often as I can for the last 5 years! Linda is really great- extremely knowledgeable about her alpacas, spinning their hair, and even the labels for the yarn tell you what alpaca they're from! If you get a chance-- GO!!!

The Blue Moon Alpaca Ranch was a super interesting place to visit. The owner Linda first told you about the alpacas and then you got to feed them. The boys and girls were in different pastures to prevent babies. After the feeding session, you got to see where the alpaca yarn is made and how you make it.

We went out for an Open Barn day to meet the beautiful alpacas and lovely owners. There was 2 tiny baby alpacas in jackets and we got to see one being bottle fed! They had fact sheets out to learn about these animals. I recommend stopping by the shop and getting some alpaca socks, we love ours!

This place is beyond charming. It's simple and straightforward. A loving ranch whose mission is to take care of alpaca. They all looked ridiculously peaceful in the dandelion-covered pasture that it made it very hard to leave. Yaya's yarn hut was also exactly what I had hoped for. Gorgeous yarns!

Really fun to go on Open Farm Days and see the alpacas up close and personal. And while they do sell yarn online, it’s great to be able to see and touch it.

We got alpaca snuggles and super soft yarn! Scarlett deemed us worthy and hung out with us for a few minutes, then we got some great advice on which yarn to get and how much. Will definitely be coming back next year!
