This RV Park rocks. We were traveling thru and called the campground, they had an opening so we stopped in. the manager/owner is amazing. what a great, down home kind of guy! He greeted us with a huge kind smile. He set us up with a spot and let us drop our trailer early so we could go to the dinosaur monument and not have to drag our trailer along. The spot was great, the bathrooms are without a doubt the cleanest restroom i have ever used, hands down. Also very cutely decorated and freshly painted. Super clean showers too. We loved this place and wish we could have stayed longer! highly recommend.

Lovely woman who checked us in. Ladies’ bathroom was immaculate, as if someone goes in there and wipes it down after every use! The little airplane by the office was a big favorite for our kids. They asked when we were coming back because they had so much fun on that, and at the cute playground. You can tell the owners and staff put a lot of time into making this space very clean and pleasant to walk through. The rock garden and all the decorations make you feel very ‘at home.’ Thank you for a very nice stay.

Outlaw trail rv park is the BEST! Bathrooms and laundry room are always immaculate! The owners are extremely caring and they have the best camp host! They are always there to help any way they can and to answers all questions. This is the perfect place to stay when visiting the Dinosaur national monument or the surrounding areas! My kiddos and I spent a lot of time at the playground and the spacious, grassy field. We were sad to leave! Highly recommend to anyone passing through or an extended stay!

We stayed here 3 nights - they give a discount for stays 3 nights or more. Very convenient to Dinosaur National Monument. Sites were gravel, level, easy to get into. Sites had picnic tables and firepits. Hosts were friendly and helpful. They had a lovely tent camping area - grassy with a common firepit area. Nice grounds. Good stop on our way to Evanston, WY (and the National Parks) via Heber City (more gentle mountain pass). Drove here from Grand Junction up 139. A few sharp curves and rough road near the summit, but doable. (Towing a 36' Fifth Wheel).

I was camping in the area and visited Outlaw to take a shower. $5 to access, 25 cents for each 7 minutes. Note... let the time run out before adding another quarter. It didn't give me my second 7 mins, and I had to add another quarter. It's not a major deal, just mentioning it.It was clean, and water was hot enough. The ladies in the office were super sweet and answered my questions with a smile.Lilacs were in bloom and smelled wonderful! I asked, and I was permitted to snip a couple of blooms. Thanks!

What great people and a great park! My family and I stopped in to dump and fill out RV on our way out of Dinosaur National Monument, where we had been boon-docking at one of the campgrounds for 3 days. The park is proudly adorned with our beautiful American flag. The dump station is an immaculate pull-through that is well set up with two good hoses (one to fill, one the flush) to make the process super easy; and even has a little sitting garden right next to it. They also have a big beautiful grassy area with a playground where our kids were able to go occupy themselves with our dog. The layout of the park is open and clean and they have a great laundry facility for guests. After dumping and filling, I mentioned that we were having an issue with our slider (just missing a bolt from the shaft) and he immediately offered to help. He drove off to his shop to get me the bolt I needed and took the time to help me get it installed and balanced (teaching me a few things in the process). They also let me know of a great mobile repair tech nearby who can help with any significant problems when needed. I can’t wait to return to the area and actually stay at the park next time. I can’t recommend this place and praise their owners enough to do them justice. If you’re ever in the area, stop by for a stay. You’ll be happy you did!!

The lady that checked us in was very nice. The first thing that struck me as odd was they charged you to shower in their facilities. There seems to be A lot of permanent campers here. The kids were running all through and around our RV sight. We were only here 2 nights but our last day there A truck was running all day long. We were not able to sit outside because the exhaust from the truck was terrible. There was also terrible odor coming from a farm!!!

Was desperately in need of EV charging for our Tesla. There is totally INSUFFICIENT EV chargers between Vernal and Craig CO. This is an EV desert. Crystal SAVED us letting us use their 240 RV hook up to save our trip. She enabled us to continue our planned camping trip to Dinosaur National Park! Shame on the National Park service and shame on Colorado Welcome Center for allowing a charge point that doesn’t even have the North American Standard charger.

Monica and Les are THE BEST! We stayed for 2 months and will 100% be back when we come back through in October/November. Super quiet campground. Literally the only downside is no free wifi but it’s not promised so I didn’t expect it. They are seriously the kindest people, we sat at the picnic tables shooting the breeze with them quite a few times. They will do anything to help you. They are only 15min outside of Vernal and not near enough people utilize this amazing campground.

The best park I’ve ever stayed at! The owners are wonderful. They work really hard at maintaining a beautiful park. Clean bathrooms and laundry facilities. It’s quiet and peaceful. Huge grassy area and playground for the kids. The closest park to the Dinosaur Monument with full hooks and WiFi! You can tell they take pride in their park and try to accommodate people the best they can..I just loved it!

Friendly service, and clean camping spot. But Wi-Fi was TERRIBLE, and the bathrooms were unfortunately dated and, in the case of the urinal, broken (obviously for a long time). It actually cost money to take a shower (hadn’t seen that one before).

This place was awesome. Plenty of places for the grandkids to play. Huge grass area. Not sure if they were the owners or camp hosts but they were amazing. I hadn't had to back my trailer up yet and he did it for me. We got in really late and we didn't see anything for which space we were in. They came down at midnight to get things situated. Super clean bathrooms and showers. The whole park was well maintained and clean. Super friendly and would definitely be staying here if we come to this area again. I have already recommended this to everyone that is headed to this area.

Great location, good price. The woman who runs the park and does everything was incredibly helpful. I needed to o receive a package that needed a signature which turned into two packages. No problem. We needed to stay an extra day for a trip to the ER. No problem. We were looking for things to do when we pulled in. Plenty of brochures and suggestions. No pool, but we didn't come to swim any way. Thanks for a great and calming stay.

I'll be honest, this place was pretty low on my radar and I only booked it due to location next to Dinosaur National Monument. I am not a fan if parking lot style RV parks. However the kids actually loves it. Firepits, swings, charcoal grills W/ tables all for communal use. Plus bathrooms, showers and laundry. Cute (from the outside at least) cabins for rent also.

Great RV park close to Dinosaur National Monument. Convenient location to see both sides of the monument. Dog friendly and even a great place to go swim in the green river a minute down the street. Level, easy sites, big rig friendly and very quiet. The owner Monica is very helpful and has a lot of information about the area in regards of what to see and do. We loved our stay!

We stayed at this RV Park for a week. Les and Monica the owners were friendly and very helpful. Their hands on care of the property and gentle natures were appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with them and at the park. We had several of children and their families join us at the park and Les made sure that we had a sight that could have others join us. We expanded this to not only another camper but tents as well. We all had a super time. They are planning to expand the park but are doing this incrementally as funds are husbanded well and invested wisely. The proximity to Dinosaur National Monument (they are the closest RV Park to the Monument) made access to the monument very convenient. We have camped all over the west and south west with our 5th wheel and the bathrooms and showers are the cleanest that we have used in our multi-year travels. We will be coming back next year and spending two weeks at Outlaw Trail RV Park to enjoy the beauty of this area. We highly recommend this RV Park for anyone that may be vacationing in this area.

A good place for a base camp to see Dinosaur National Monument. Daily sites are a bit tight, but the price is right. Sites are gravel and level. Laundry and bath houses are clean, but if you want to use their showers, it'll cost you 25 cents for 5 minutes. Overall, it's clean, safe park.

Level stoned sites with large grassy areas across the front of the property for dog walks. Laundry room and restrooms clean and in service. Whole campground neat and clean. Staff is courteous and very helpful. Convenient to Dinosaur National Monument. Services in Vernal 13 miles away which is nice clean town.

The woman working at the campground (she said she was new) when we arrived for one night at the end of September was very kind and hospitable. However, despite the cute theme of the campground, we didn’t have a great experience. The nightly sites were small, and it appeared that there were only four nightly sites which were crammed together between the dump station and the bathrooms. Our whole family was bothered by the sewage smell in the air. There was also no enforcement of after-hour noise policies. The campers next to us were extremely loud late into the night. We tried accessing the internet with the password they gave us (which was supposed to support three devices) but we couldn’t even get a connection on one device. We were honestly glad that our trip itinerary only brought us to this campground for the one night.

Nice place convenient to the Dinosaur National Monument. Affordable. Very nice super clean bathroom and shower facilities.Could use a pick up around the perimeter of the stuff that blows around.A nice grassy front entrance , great playground, really nice fire pit. But did not have any firewood on site to buy. Gave us the few pieces they had, for some quick s'mores!Very nice Campground

VERY CLEAN!! The bathroom, showers, laundry, and grounds were very clean. Clean is always a plus! The owners are very friendly and helpful. The front is nicely landscaped with a large green lawn, fire pit and chairs. Gravel pads, few trees, and some road noise, but over-all a GREAT value with all hooks-ups. An excellent place to stop.

We enjoyed our stay! The owners were very helpful and friendly. The park is well maintained and clean. They have a little playground for kids and a green space in the front for tents. The spots were gravel and the hookups worked good. I’d stay again if passing through!

Nice park with quick access to Dinosaur National Monument. You won’t find nicer camp hosts. Only down side is that some camper spot are a bit narrow leaving less than 10ft to your neighbor. With that being said we will definitely come back on our way through.

Best RV camping place in the area. Nice grass area for tents and has all the amenities you need for an enjoyable time. What's really nice its close to many of the tourist attractions in the Jensen and Vernal Area. Huge 70 ft parking for the big RVs. It has place to park your toy trailers if needed. The Staff is local owners who take pride in their business and the place is being upgraded every year and keeps getting better. I seen some negative reviews but you can't make everyone happy. I look at the majority and its mostly positive ratings. Reasonable rates for a RV Park.I'll be adding some drone pictures in the near future.

Very clean and well maintained grounds and facilities. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Great location from dinosaur national monument and the city of Vernal. Only complaint is the sites are extremely packed together, so close that you need to be parked perfect in order to open your slides, and you are literally at an arm's length from your neighbors slide window and no room to open your awning. We have a mid sized 5th wheel, 8ft wide and 32 ft long, for reference.

We camped for a night in their RV campground. They have sewer dump, fresh water access and electricity. The place is well designed and slots for the RV’s are spaciously done. They have a children’s play structure. Restroom access. The only flaw in the campground is finding the office in the dark. The restroom looks more lit up and attracts people than the main office. The main office is a little cabin. We went without a reservation and used their envelop to put in the money. They put up a map with available slots after the office hours, making it convenient for people with no reservations.
