The setting for this center is absolutely stunning. It is set among the red mountains and beneath the night sky.Be prepared though...the seats are uncomfortable. Bring a cushion to sit on or purchase one for $3 there. You are able to bring into the amphitheater blankets, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages. There are plenty of places set up to sell snacks and I found most of them affordable. The gift shop is fun to wander around. Prices aren't great but lots of unique item. Show t-shirts are around $30.I also love that parking is free. I can't wait to return next time we are in town.

Amazing, awesome place! Fine Parkway drive up & good parking. Plenty of goods and services available insideElevator easy to use. Multiple plays throughout the season. We saw Hunchback of Nokia Dame with excellent cast, crew's & orchestra. Don't miss it. P.S. There's not a bad seat in the house.

Tuacahn has incredible shows and an amazing Saturday market! We have loved shopping there and are now grateful to be a part of their market! The shows are incredible and well done! Casting is amazing, each year they are so creative in how they produce each play. It really takes imagination to a whole new level. The atmosphere is unmatched, the shows are incredible!

We love the Tuacahn theater! The plays they put on are usually very well done. I went for my first concert there recently and we had general admission tickets. There is a small strip of grass on the side of the theater. It is quite steep. We moved to the front but our kids couldn't see over the chairs in front of them so we kept trying to shift around. If you have an actual seat the theater is great. They have big fans at the back to run eden is hot during the summer. There is only one road in/out of the theater so it does the a minute to her out after the show. They have snacks like churro and popcorn. They allow snacks in as well. This is a lovely facility set deep in the beautiful red rock. Highly recommend, just not in the general admission area.

We watched Joseph - what an amazing show. The ticket prices are reasonable, as well the concession treats. The atmosphere with the red rock canyon behind it, is magical, especially in the summer. The parking is free and easy to access. Restrooms spacious and clean. The shop has great souvenirs. It was a truly enjoyable experience for kids and everyone!!!

Horrible experience being stuck behind someone in a wheelchair (not the person in the wheelchairs fault). This was my view the entire show (see accompanied photo). Paid $50 for the seat, voiced my frustration with management, and they offered me a free ticket to a $5 dollar event. Absolutely ridiculous.

Our family saw Mary Poppins and it was one of the best shows we have ever seen. The costumes, talent, props and the outdoor scenic views were breathtaking. We paid a little more to be closer and there was water and cushioned seat covers which was fantastic. There’s a 15 min intermission with plenty of concessions. You can bring your own food and drinks if you’d like. I highly recommend for families or a date night. The surrounding mountains are stunning! This place will not disappoint!

Tuacahn has lost its magnificence! My family has had season tickets for over 15 years and it feels like the last few years the sets have completely changed and lost their magic. The sets used to have the back drop of the canyon and the gorgeous mountainside, this is what set tuacahn apart from other theaters! Unfortunately now they are so reliant on electronic screens and the whole back of the stage was completely closed off for their entire show( except for a very brief portion of Tarzan). I have seen Tarzan and Hunchback of Notre Dame previously and prefer the previous sets as they allowed the landscape and incredible canyon to be a part of the play. If I wanted to see everything digital, I wouldn’t drive for 4+ hours to see these musicals. The electronic screens are also very distracting and make it extremely difficult see all the craftsmanship and hard work that goes into some of the set pieces. Unfortunately because of this, our family will not be returning next year. I know that they got a new set designer and they are used to doing indoor theaters, but there is a reason people come from all over to be at tuacahn- for the breath taking canyon views and unbeatable experience. Don’t get me wrong, the actors, stage crew and staff are all wonderful and always have been, but I don’t feel like it is worth the money any more because of the lack of creativity of designs of the sets over the past two years. The screens are 100% not necessary and ruined the show. Hopefully the magic can return in the future. Attached are some pictures from this year compared to plays from previous years with an open backdrop. Also side note… the river out front is disgusting. It used to be clear water than ran and was a beautiful feature but now it’s a filthy brown green color and looks like someone dumped their sewer water in it.

We love attending performances at Tuacahn. The performances are always unique and incredible! We drove 4 hours to see a performance of Tarzan and it did not disappointment. Performers were coming down aisles, hanging on "vines" coming down from the sky, and zip-lining down to the stage. The actors and actresses voices were amazing and comparable to any you would hear on Broadway. Also, the ambiance and beauty of the outdoor ampitheater made for a perfect evening.

This is our 1st time visiting the Tuacahn Amphitheatre. We saw the Broadway production Beauty and the Beast. The Amphitheatre is breath taking to say the least. Outdoors under the stars with an incredible red cliff back drop. The play was spectacular in every sense. Fantastic performance and thoroughly entertained!! Would definitely return and do this again!! Great show and atmosphere!

Went to see Wonderland and I loved it! Great venue. Super cool production with "flying", great audio/visual, and I loved the take on the Alice in Wonderland story. Consessions and even seat cushion rentals are available. Definitely get the frozen lemonade to keep you cool.

It was a wonderful experience. I was there for their Saturday Market.Their was a wide variety of different makers at The Tuachan Center For Arts.Management also did a great job in selecting talented vendors with fresh vision. This has resulted is seeing ,buying and eating things I had never seen before.Highly recommend.I have yet to see at a show at Tuacahn' . But the stage area is very well laid out to give optimal sound and visibility. The acoustics are simply the bestI can't wait to come back for a show.

This is a beautiful performing arts center near Saint George Utah and near Snow Canyon. The seats are outdoors in stadium like seating in a man made slope facing the canyon wall. Similar to red rocks in CO, but much smaller and boasting less well known and local acts.Concerts, musicals, skits, and plays are on the docket. The annoying aspect is that most prices are fairly elevated, yet they are always asking for donations. Not sure if it’s a really wealthy non-profit (like NCAA) or if the several parts subsidize the others (guild v. Theatre v. Govt org, etc…). Anyways, it’s strange to see such an amazingly well appointed arts facility begging for money at every turn. They must get a lot of donations, because the whole place seems like a wealthy hangout. Nothing in this facility is subpar. The place is truly beautiful. It appears to be remote, but it’s not far from one of the fastest growing regions in the southwest.Just beautiful!!!

Anytime I get a chance I go and you should too. The entire atmosphere is outstanding and all of the productions are as well. I highly recommend anybody visiting St George to see if you can get a ticket for any current show they have. If you live in St George and you haven't been to a production yet your cutting your happiness short by not doing so. We revisited last night to see wonderland and it was so fantastic this time we sat in the third row and we had dinner in the cafe. Delicious food and I can't say enough about the production of wonderland hoping to start volunteering there now

Love the shows here! Beautiful canyon away from the city noise. Great theater (just avoid the hot months) falls are amazing. They get done really nice bands in that beats driving to SLC or Vegas. Family safe is a big plus. I'd recommend seeing any show here.

We went here to see Mary Poppins and it was incredible!!!! The scenery and all the costumes were so well done. And all of the cast did an amazing job...especially the people that played the banks children, Mary Poppins, and Bert. It is definitely somewhere I'm planning to go again one day.

This place is magic! The natural scenery and atmosphere are unmatched. You feel as if you found an oasis due to the sound and beauty. Speaking of sound, the quality of the sound was amazing. No reverb, no echo just crisp clear instruments and voices. I realize the sound guy has much to do with this, I am acknowledging that surrounded by all rock, real and fake, could have had negative impact. It did not. I wasn't even a true fan of the band, just a fan of music. This venue did not disappoint. There were plenty of convenient concessions. The seating ensures all a great view of the performance. And I truly can't say enough about the majesty of the natural surroundings. Even to look up and see stars so clearly added to the treat. Pictures don't do it justice.
