My dogs are always so excited to come and stay here! They have a great time playing with all the other pups. The staff is always kind and personable, and they took the time to get to know my dogs and their personality’s, and provide the best care for them. You can tell they really love each and every dog! The pricing is very reasonable, especially with how flexible they are. They really work with me. I will continue to bring my dogs here for a long time and if you are questioning it, you should too! This place is great.

It was my furbaby Butch’s firstime in a Dog daycare and I’m a bit worried and overprotective of him. I was anxious for a couple of hours while doing our tour in Southern Utah but the ladies in this Dog Daycare updates me and also sent me some pictures! I was so happy! Butch was very happy as well!! We’ll definitely comeback!!! Highly Recommend!

We stopped by to see if they could take our dog Khloe for a doggy day care .. I had forgot to call ahead but they were fantastic... They took Khloe in and I mentioned we were a bit worried about how she would handle being around other dogs. The girls took here and introduced her to the other dogs and all was good. She must have had a good time because when we got her that afternoon she was all worn out. (pic) She is our baby so I want to thank you for taking such good care of her.Awesome place.

I’m so happy I found this place. Lori was so wonderful and accommodating, and the other girls (I’m so sorry I didn’t get your names) were so fantastic when I went to pick up my dog Tito. On top of that, I felt that the prices were EXTREMELY reasonable (I noticed a lot of people complaining about that in these reviews - it’s very reasonable especially for a “tourist” location!) It’s always great when you really think your dog was cared for and enjoyed his time. He seemed to really love the girls and I felt good about him being there while I was at Zion. Definitely recommend and will bring him back when I visit again! Tito and I thank you all again!❤️

Lori at the front desk was very nice & personable. I took my pup here as a local resident. I was offered a free day which was really nice.I probably should have put as instruction to take my pup inside the a/c area once in a while. I don’t think my pup had the best time here because of her personality and she’s more of an indoor dog. She was a smaller dog and did not really socialize a lot which I thought she would. I also noticed that they supervised bigger dogs more than the small ones, which makes sense because bigger dogs can hurt each other more during play compared to the smaller ones. I like that they have a mist, pool and shaded part. It seems like other dogs had fun playing with each other. I also noticed that my pup didn’t get enough water during her stay. She probably didn’t know where to get it or too anxious of us coming back. I need to train my pup to socialize more without us.

From the street this is modest looking facility. What you may not know from the outside is how great it is inside! My husband and I have an older Cattle Dog who can be cautious with strangers and other dogs. We dropped in on a Saturday and was greeted by the owner Ryan. He took the time talking to us explaining what our dog can expect staying at his facility. The attention and care each dog receives put us at ease. Plus it is extremely clean inside. Later, I met Curtis the manager. He took the time to tell me how our dog did during her stay at daycare. I feel confident our dog (and us) will benefit greatly as customers at On the Spot. Plus the check in and out process is a breeze. Pre-paid daycare (great discount), a quick scan of a customer card and you are off! No long lines and time waiting to settle up. I highly recommend On the Spot!

Everything seemed fine when dropping my dog off on Friday morning. Facility seemed nice enough and staff was friendly.When I picked her up on Sunday morning, however, the woman working let me know that my dog had vomited “a couple times” on Saturday but didn’t know how many. They also let me know that my dog had not eaten much. They did not try communicate this to me during her stay. I understand dogs in new environments may often be stressed and get sick, but communication would have been helpful. She has been vomiting and has not eaten since getting her back 48 hours ago and the vet is having difficulty diagnosing the issue since we received such little detail from On the Spot. My dog was also apparently constipated, but I was not told this until I called back on Monday to ask for more detail.My dog’s top right canine tooth was also broken about halfway down, which definitely occurred here as we had a vet appointment the day before she was dropped off. I understand not noticing this, and things like that can happen during play, but based on the lack of communication and not noting or sharing details about my dog’s illness I’m not optimistic about the level of attention and care she received.

On the spot pet grooming is amazing.I would like to say Thank You Jade. Back in August I came in and I gave my dog Ruger a Bath.On my way out the door my dog went into a seizure. Jade came around the corner and helped me with my dog.She sat on the floor with Ruger and I.She asked if I needed anything. She got a towel for him cause he was still a little wet brought him a bowl of water. Jade did everything I did with Ruger. Spoke to him calmly and pet him until he came out of it. Recently I took Ruger in for a groom. And while they were grooming him, he went into a seizure. Jade was there and remembered Everything we did with him that day in august. I have never felt so comfortable in leaving my dog anywhere until now.Thank you, Jade, and thank you on the spot for having such wonderful and compassionate people working for you..

Absolutely LOVE how good they are with my labradoodle who is afraid of everything. They do a great grooming job and are very nice people. Price is reasonable and they are knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

We boarded our dog here while we visited Zion. They had were accommodating, friendly, and amazing with communication. We were able to get our pup bathed and get his nails trimmed while he was there too. They are awesome!!

I took my dog there for nail trim, and his quick got cut. I know that happens, and that was not as bothersome is the fact is they were just going to send me home without telling me that happened. But then he started actively bleeding while in the reception area a fair amount. So they just sent me home with a bag of quick stop when he had an active bleed. His blood got all over the interior of the car. I would recommend to the staff to be honest and open about what happens while at your facility. People understand that things happens with dogs, but people don’t like dishonesty. I would also recommend never sending a dog home with an active bleed. At the very least hold pressure for a couple minutes, or allow the owner a place where they can sit with their dog and hold pressure. I wasn’t going to write a review, but then I saw other people in different reviews saying that they were not told about injuries that their dogs had sustained as well, so it seems they haven’t made an effort to make and change. Sad that this can’t be my go-to place for other services.

I love this place. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. I take my dog in here for about two hours a day, a few times a week so she can play and socialize. She's extremely energetic, so she loves coming here everytime. I'd recommend prepaying for their 50 hour pass as it drops the price to $4 an hour. They'll give you a check in barcode so you can scan your dog in and out quick. I just went on a trip to Hawaii for a week and left my dog here for the boarding for the first time. When I got back there were no issues and they even gave me a "report card" which detailed what she did everyday, dogs she enjoyed playing with, etc. I'd definitely use their boarding next time I leave town.

Kevin stayed at this camp for about a week. He was well cared for and not knowing he is a dog, he followed staff around and helped take care of the others. He made a new dog friend “Izzy” and I understand they were besties. He barked that he would love to stay here again in the future. We will be coming back!!!

On the spot is an amazing boarding facility right near Zion ! We dropped off our dog for two days while we hiked in Zion and he came back extremely happy. She offers great prices, a clean facility, and a huge yard for the dogs to play in, she is extremely friendly and warming which made me very comfortable leaving my big boy with her for the day! I was nervous at first as we had been camping for months and my dog had not been around other dogs for months but she was very comforting and ensured me he would be okay. I would definitely recommend boarding your dog here while enjoying your time in Zion!

We boarded our dog Raymond over this past weekend so that we could do activities in Zion National park. Staff are friendly and caring. The facility is clean. Plenty of shaded areas in the outdoor play area. Reasonable rates and we added on a bath for Ray. He was nice and clean when we picked him up! Thank you!

Where do I begin?? On the spot is exceptional on all levels! Chase at the front desk was patient and kind and answered all of my 50,000 questions with a smile!!Lily who was out playing with the dogs is so wonderful, friendly and happy!!!At check out I was pleasantly surprised with our dogs report card they provided us about his day to day experience.I am so grateful for what this boarding facility provides and I will be recommending them to everyone!!! We recently had our Airedale groomed here and we’re very happy with the cut and the service! All the people we talked to were very nice and knowledgeable. We felt very comfortable leaving our dog here and loved how her haircut looked! She seemed very happy when we picked her up and proud to show off her new hair! We are staying in Hurricane because we are visiting the Utah national parks. Since Zion National Park isn't dog friendly, we wanted to find a place where we could leave our dogs for the day, as well as feel good about our decision to leave them. Our RV park recommended On the Spot Play and Stay, so we visited the facility the day before we wanted to drop the dogs off to see if it met our standards. The place is FABULOUS. It is clean, the staff are friendly, and we immediately felt good about sending our dogs there to play for the day. The dogs had so much fun for their day at daycare. We loved how On the Spot has 2 different dog play areas (for small dogs and bigger dogs) and there is a staff member outside with the dogs in the play area all of the time. Our two Cavalier pups give On the Spot Play and Stay 8 paws up!

SO incredibly happy with our experience at On the Spot Play and Stay! I was visiting from out of town to see Zion National Park and needed a place to board the pups for the day. Without hesitation, they were so friendly and were able to accommodate my two dogs immediately! (Note: Make sure you have current vaccination records on hand because they will require them! I did, and it was no problem. This is the responsible thing for boarding facilities to do to ensure everyone stays healthy and happy!)One of the really neat things I'd like to share with everyone: Before I dropped my pups off for the day, I expressed to Ryan (the owner) that my female dog sometimes doesn't play nicely with other dogs and that he may want to consider kenneling her rather than letting her go into the general population. He reassured me that they would if they needed to, but that he would like to take the day to work with her and see if she could integrate well into the play group. Well, long story short... At the end of the day when I came to pick them up, Ryan invited me into the back to come see something-- To my amazement, there was my girl quietly standing next to three other bigger dogs, casually looking around and enjoying herself. It's been YEARS since I've ever seen her not be reactive around other dogs she's never met before! I was seriously almost at tears with how happy I was to see this. (My extended gratitude to everyone at On the Spot who patiently took the time throughout the day to make this a reality! I was just looking for a place to casually board the dogs, but instead they worked a miracle!)Needless to say, I would happily recommend On the Spot to anyone! They were so kind and accommodating, and they absolutely went above and beyond to make sure that my pups had a really special day!! Thank you so much to Ryan and all of the staff at On the Spot!

Awesome place! The owners are great and our dog loves it there! After multiple cities we have lived in this little place far surpasses as our favorite boarding place. They are priced great and the grooming is EXCELLENT! just had the mini groom and I promise my dog (after countless other groomers) has never been this soft or has not had this little of shedding hair (black lab) will be coming back over and over again!

I was visiting the Hurricane area and was told by a close friend that I could leave my yorkie with On the Spot for the day. I was so impressed with their professional manner. Before I brought her in I called and they asked for her immunization record. Told them where they could get it, and by the time I got there they had called my vet and knew she was current. I spent some time in the parking lot watching how she reacted with the other dogs and the person watching them. I was pleased with what I saw. I know the owners care about each dog left in their care. I thought the rate at the end of the day was reasonable. Thanks Lori and Ryan .

I love this place! My Trevor has separation anxiety, and the owners are always accommodating and welcoming towards him even with his loud barking and nervous behavior when I drop him off.....I love that they offer vaccines! Cheaper and more convenient than taking time off work for a vet appointment. Love that I have a reliable place to let my boys play and socialize while I'm at work or out of town. The cage-free factor is very important to me, and you can tell these people really care about the dogs.

This place is great! I boarded an exceptionally anxious dog with these guys and they were so kind and patient with her. Ryan, Jackie, and Harley are so kind and helpful! We boarded our mini dachshund here while we visited the nearby canyons, and they were awesome! The overnight price was very reasonable, and when we picked her up you could tell she was happy-tired from having fun and playing all day! You could tell the staff was very loving and caring towards every dog there, and they offer options for all pup personalities! Would 100% recommend to anyone in the area!

We boarded our dog for a single day for 40 dollars which was already a little steep but it was right next to zion so we were willing to pay the extra. We were 15 minutes late for the 12o'clock drop off and they charged us an extra 15 dollars which is ridiculous. And when they brought him out he was actively bleeding from a scuffle with another dog. Which happens but they didn't tell us or do anything for him, didn't even clean it off. And when we asked the person at the front desk she very much didn't seem to care. It's obvious that the employees here not only don't pay attention to the dogs but also don't care when something does happen. Didn't even call us to let us know he was bleeding or tend to his wound at all.

Most important thing about these kind of services is transparency specially when your pet is involved! They cannot talk themselves thats why we asked them to let us know if anything happened to our dog and not see it a day after realizing that our dog is in pain. That shows lack of responsibility and the fact that these people may not even care inside behind the walls when we don't see it. My dog got bitten by another one while in there and these people even didn't care to tell me. The wound was small enough so i didn't notice it the day after. For shame. Learn how to service or stop it.Edit:hey there, yes im with Rachel and our dog is Erebus. Its so interesting that you replied to Rachel here and said that apparently you guys talked about it when she came to pick erebus up and you definitely didnt! So its not nice to bend the truth to get away with this. As i said dogs are dogs. The scratch is not a small one and its right above her eyes. Since on that reply you also mentioned that erebus started the attack Erebus is not an aggressive dog she is the most chilled dog and never attacked anyone so im 100% sure she fought back but never heart any dog. But still the problem is transparency and not talking about the bloody face after erebus went to the car. So if you are right this was literally the first time she started a fight that we've never seen before after 9 years. Again for anyone who reads this our dog has been heart by other dogs before the problem here is transparency and the fact that to Rachel they said that they talked about this which they totally didnt so again lack of transparency

We dropped our Rosie off here so we could got to Zion National Park for a few hours. We recently rescued Rosie from the shelter where she had beenrecently been spayed. With her incision still healing and knowing she can be nervous around other dogs, we were worrisome about leaving her. The man took her in offered to put her in with the smaller dogs (she is 35 lbs), so she would not be rough housing too much with the bigger dogs, risking her stitches.We could not be happier with seeing how happy and content she looked there when we picked her up. They had opened it up so she could play with the small AND big dogs, and there were three employees in with them, watching and playing with the dogs. They took excelent care of our Rosie and if we ever go back to Zion we will 100% entrust our dogs with them. We are grateful for the care and attention they provided to all of the dogs in their care.

My parents take their dog here and they love it because he is Police and Military trained. So he has a lot of energy and he can be harmful needs to be played with all the time, can be very dominating of the toys but they give report cards to let you know what they did with him. They are just very thorough with what they've done, so my parents love taking their dog here I would highly recommend this place. Plus there are two locations one down in St George area (Hurricane) and up in American Fork).
