Great place to access the Pineview Reservoir. The beach has a good north-facing view and is covered with sand, which is a favorite of the kids. There is an entrance fee, which is probably what helps reduce the crowds here compared to other locations on the reservoir. If you access the day picnic area the is a bit steeper than other places.

Convenient and accessible campground that offers easy access to beach on the reservoir. It’s less than an hour away from SLC. The group camping has a large covered area with a large fire pit and several picnic tables. We just stayed for the night but I would come back for sure.

We love camping here. So pretty. We camp in. Large group with our friends. They don't have hook ups but have bathrooms and water. The firepits don't put out any heat so we dislike those.. playing on the shore is amazing.

This is a great place. Hard to get a reservation but if you show up on a Wednesday there were plenty first come sites that you can stay at through the weekend. Don't plan on just dropping off an RV and leaving they expect someone in the site at least every 24 hours.Dog-friendliness: It seems so, several campers here have dogs, however no pets allowed on the beachPicnic area: Several day use area picnic tables. $23 per vehicle, per day. Extra vehicles at Camp site is $10.00 per day.

It's been a few years since we camped here. We have been coming here for more than 50 years. The campground is beautiful and all the sites are well kept, before we got parked one of the camp hosts even blew the leaves away😏. We arrived and there were not many sites taken so we felt like we had the place almost to ourselves, it was before memorial day so there is that. We will definitely be coming again this summer.

Winter camping is just that. A safe place to park your vehicle, have some pit toilets, and start a campfire.I stayed here two nights in feb and the spots were plowed out. Doesn’t look anyone mans the gate midweek. You can pay online if you forgot your $27.Great spot for ski bums looking for a cheap place to stay near some great mountains.

The place itself is pretty nice. Great location, and, the easy access beach is awesome! BUT, the workers! Man.. they are just so bitter and ornery! I guess I can see how they deal with people daily but, isn’t that the same for any customer service type job? Be kinder. You never know what the people going there are dealing with and getting away from as well..

A perfect little slice of heaven. Surrounded by big beautiful trees that offer a lot a shade for the camp ground. Nice campfires at night. Stars for as far as the eyes can see. Just a small walk to the beach. Perfect views of the sunsets through the opening of the canyon. Sunrises over water as smooth as glass. Great place for people of all ages. Clean and well kept. My favorite camping spot.

This is a great family friendly environment. It is well kept and maintained. It's great for just a day at the lake or to get a campsite and spend the night. The bathrooms are clean and the water is so perfect! Plus they have fire pits and grills! Whether you live close by, or on vacation you should go!

We had a great time at this campaigner, aside from the aggressive behavior and communication we experienced from some of their on-site staff.Beautiful location and incredible proximity to Pineview Reservoir.

The campground gets very fully on the weekends, so make sure you get there very early to get a good spot. After a nice long swim, you can make your Dinner and chill by the beautiful lake beach area while watching the sunset go down.

What a great spot for camping! So much shade! No matter what time of day it was, our spot always had shade. Beautiful views of the reservoir and a quick walk to the sandy beach. Easy check-in, friendly hosts and camping spots are spaced out nicely.

Fantastic location! The price is a little high for a standard nonelectric campsite with vault restrooms. The Staff at Anderson is either witty and fun or super grouchy with no in between, at times it feels like us against them and their rules....I guess it depends on the day.

The people were nice. They have vault toilets. It’s a nice campground except for the price. I stayed in my car, no power, no water. I had a picnic table and a fire ring and it cost me $30 for the night. There are lots of trees for possible shade and my cell phone and wi-fi worked. They have preset up tents available tho I stayed in my car.

What a beautiful place to camp and visit! Clean and clearly marked camping sites, wood, ice and other amenities available, boat, kayak and jetski rentals available and clean toilets. Also, met several staff members and they were all so friendly and welcoming!

Love it here. We come every year. This year, the water levels is super high, and there are no beaches to hang out on, but I still love it.

Anderson Cove Campground was very nice. They had very deep fire pits, they had level ground that was fairly soft to pitch a tent, and I loved the lakeside view of Pineview Dam. We went toward the end of the season in late September 2018, and they were the only campground near South Fork and Monte Cristo that was still open. The cost is $28 per night for RV camping, that's what we chose, or $21 per night if you want to go in the tent side. The tent side didn't look very nice, so we opted to pay the $7 more to stay on the RV side. We were very happy with this decision.

This place has a good beach, bathrooms and water spigots and is pretty accessible from the parking area. It actually would have gotten 5 stars, but...Not necessarily the management's fault but we found a very large fish hook buried in the sand. Luckily we didn't step on it, but that could have been very bad! I'm sure this could happen anywhere and is the fault of whichever person that left it there, but just scary!

I visited Anderson Cove Campground on two occasions last winter in our four-season camper van. It was fantastic! I can't say enough about how accommodating Bob (the camp manager) made us feel. He was awesome! In spite of it being a record snow year, he was able to keep a few sites plowed out. I look forward to returning again this winter. Question: Is Anderson Cove Campground going to be open again this winter? I sure hope so. Please advise.

The most organized campground I’ve been. Staff were very helpful and nice to be around. Campground very well maintained.

Unfriendly staff. Website says dogs are welcome except in the day area and beach, but the staff went very out of their way to communicate we weren't welcome there at all. We have two small, quiet dogs too; pics for reference. It's not like we wanted to bring big, badly behaved pitbulls or mastiffs in there

Adjusted from a previous 5 star, preface we plan to camp here again. 3 star when you are not allowed to arrive early on the day you plan to camp and utilize the beach … having to pay 18$ in addition to the camp fee seems excessive. Also 12$ dump fee!? If your headed south on 89 just use the Maverick in south Weber. Seems people are trying to see how many kids they can fit in one site, also had a camper who wasn’t bothered by their kid yelling later at night or early in the morning.

Had an absolutely fun time and the camp hosts. Where to begin and end. They were running there tails off this weekend and were absolutely amazing. The sites were extremely clean and cared for. The camp areas were all clean and cared for. The bathrooms were clean to the best of an outhouses ability. Trash was picked up and always had a trash to access. I would especially like to point out Troy and his wife. I hope I can see them again soon. Our family has had nothing but good times with these two!

It's a great place and well maintained... It has pit toilets and no showers, but it's right on Pineview reservoir and there are lots of tress, which is awesome... Make reservations as there are only 20 or so 1st come 1st serve sites, and they are always full on the weekends... We had a great time and will go again next year to make it 3 years in a row... Enjoy

The park has great views and a fairly accessible beach, but the customer service is horrendous. We were parked incorrectly, and an old man who worked the night shift exploded at us. Instead of working with us he kicked one of the vehicles in our group out of the park. He had ZERO patience, and he is not reasonable. It's so seldomly that one comes across such a jerk. I won't be back anytime soon.

We just love camping here! This is a yearly spot for us to come up to and enjoy our time at! Such a great camp ground for families and every one else in between!!

I hesitate to share how great this campground is because I'd like to keep it my secret. But it was clean, beautiful, close proximity to reservoir, large pavillion, with a grill and fire pit with benches and our own water spigot. There are level, grassy areas for tents, with shade and restrooms nearby the Parking was organized and those in our group with trailers fit easily with our site. I don't think it could have been a better setup.
