We spent one night here trying out a new RV we bought to do a shakedown and get used to it. Autumn was super helpful and friendly. The park has nice sites and is in a great locations. Being able to watch trains is very enjoyable. The Mountain view is also quite nice. There are several great places to eat close by. We enjoyed the small town atmosphere of Helper.

I got a camp spot for the weekend and my daughter got a cabin, The cabin was nice with 3 beds, kitchen and a nice bathroom. It was cute she even got a mint on her bed with the late check in.I stayed in my trailer, I often stay at this camp ground as it is close to family and I can have my fur babies. As always check in was smooth , camp ground and facilities clean and well maintained. I noticed around 10 am on check out that I was being watched by the maintance man. Yes I am alone and was waiting for my son to come and help me clean up and move my RV. The maintance man came by and told me I had to be out by 11 am or I would be charged a late fee or an extra day. I understand. We explaned that we had lost a lock on the hitch and would be going to get one. In the mean time, I got a phone call and voice messages that I needed to be gone that I was going to be charged a late fee or for another day. I called the office and explaned the situation, the gal at the desk said she would not charge me the late fee if I was gone by 12:00. So we rushed all over helper to find the part and was gone with only seconds to spare before that $3:00 fee was added on. I do understand policeys and procdures. But with the camp ground being empty most the weekend with only a few campers, the rush with the situation seemed exstrem.I have stayed there for years with no issues, its close and clean and I have always felt safe being a single woman alone, and even when my husband was a live we stayed there many times with no issues.I think I might give the new park in Wellington a try on my next visit. I dont mind paying the late fee , for being late rules are rules, it was the pressure and being felt like I was trying to take something from the park, I was not . believe me I really had no intention of staying past 11 am, It was beyond my control.Thank you

Everything you could ask for in an RV Park! Trains, a river, dog park, clean and heated bathrooms, power and water at each site, and blazing fast WiFi for any remote workers. The town of Helper is awesome and their main street is fun to walk down and experience. Close to the highway and the town of Price is close which provides any amenities that Helper doesn't have.

This RV park was so relaxing! We stayed on the waterside for a week and it was so nice and spacious. It was quiet, other than the train and the road being close by, the train didn’t usually sound their horns so it wasn’t bad. It was so beautiful by the water. Management was awesome! The only thing I would say is there is a TON of goat heads so just be aware, especially if you have pets!

Castle Gate RV park is a great place to stay. Nice campsites, and private bathrooms. This is our go to place to stay when visiting the Price area. It is within walking distance to Helper and there are several restaurants and a grocery store in town.

Spent one night passing through the area with my husband and enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, the sites were large and spacious with beautiful views. Our particular site was pull through with two sewer connections, 50amp power, and great water pressure! In fact, the use of a water pressure regulator is highly suggested and they even sell them at the store on the premise. The entire campground is well maintained, especially the bath houses! The cabins look super cute too! Great value! We will definitely stay here again if we ever find ourselves in the area.

Beautiful park! Everything was clean and bright! The campsites and wide and the landscaping is wonderful. Bushes and trees placed between sites. I liked the river being right there. And we had great weather. Will definitely stay here again.

Awesome RV park in an awesome location. Driving from Provo down thru Price Canyon, the views were amazing. Cute little town, looks like time stood still. RV park is easy to get to and easy to navigate. It looks fairly new, but give it a few years and let the trees mature, and it will be even better. Would stay again if I was ever in the area.

This place is awesome! We walked into town because it’s so close to everything. Some of the cleanest bathrooms I’ve ever seen. Great place for kids and dogs. I highly recommend checking out 9 mile canyon while visiting. Some of thee coolest petroglyphs we’ve ever seen. Also, download the travel story’s app and it’s a guided tour while your driving to specific sites along the way.

We stayed at Castle Gate RV Park for a couple of days on the way through from Canada to Arizona. This was a great site. Very clean and well kept facility from the RV pads to the washrooms, showers and every other area that we saw. Everything seemed new and fresh. The service from the young team was outstanding. This will now be our go to stop on the way through.

Pros: This RV park is almost new so everything looks good and is in good repair. The bathrooms/showers are very nice. The childrens' play area includes a water park/fountain which is super fun. There is a small store and propane. The park isn't huge , just over 200 sites. Cons: The Price river runs along the back of the park and access to it is very easy. Because of this you need to be very careful with kids and pets. On the other side of the park is a freight rail line that is very noisy with a lot of train traffic. I would do an over-night here, but that's all.

We stopped by for two nights & ended up staying for a week, as Luke & Da Leigh's exceptional service made us feel right at home. The neatly raked sites were large, modern showers were clean & a well stocked General Store completed our stay. The funky town of Helper is a step back in time & well worth a slow stroll to take in the colorful history of the area. Note: The RV park is bordered by US 191 & RR tracks - bring ear plugs.

The restrooms are extremely clean! Definitely the cleanest we have ever seen at an RV park.Nice sites with full hookups! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Good wifi!Laundry machines and propane fill on site, with a cute little general store with snacks and souvenirs. The town is very close to the RV park (within walking distance). They also have trains nearby and those were really fun to watch.

This was such an excellent campground. The showers and bathrooms were spotless, the camp store was helpful, the staff was kind, and the town was charming. I unfortunately could not stay my entire visit as the heat was oppressive, and tent camping was entirely too uncomfortable for this midwestern/mid latitude woman. There were not other tent campers during my stay! I highly recommend this place. They were so kind to work with me on a last minute basis, too. Thank you all!

We missed an opportunity here! We planned only one night on our way to somewhere else and we should have planned more. Friendly staff, nice spots made attractive by native grass landscaping, and close to what looks like a unique downtown. If you are in this area, we recommend this park. (We're full-time RVers on the road for over 3 years now.)

Super fun experience!Liked · It was such a fun experience! The staff was super nice and welcoming! The "yard area" around the cabin was super cute and very clean. When you walk in it gave off such a cozy feeling! Everything was so clean and nice. It's was so fun to stay in our own little cabin for a weekend! Would definitely come back in the warmer seasons.Disliked · The only thing that could have been better was our heater for some reason didn't want to kick on and stay on so the first night was super cold! Unfortunately our water to the cabin froze so the toilet, shower, and sinks weren't usable. It wouldn't have been so bad but with a new baby it made for a long night without water. (Cold weather doesn't help) The second night we lucked out and only one of the sinks froze. Other than that it was a really fun experience.

This RV Park is fantastic, very nice and helpful staff, knowledgeable of the area and what places to visit in Helper. The spaces are spacious and landscape, and very clean. The bathrooms are the best I’ve seen in a RV Park, and are very clean, you have your own individual bathroom. The Price river, runs along the park and offer shaded areas to sit and enjoy the river. Railroad runs along the roadway by the park, but to me was not a problem. Will stay here again.Safety: Felt very safe in the area.Food & drinks: Need to visit Helper, everything from restaurants to ice cream and coffee shops, to a market with a deli.

We stayed in the RV park in our class C motor home. Park was very clean and the space was level. Good amount of room between spaces. Shower rooms were the nicest I've seen. Clean and modern. Staff helpful and pleasant. Park spaces don't have a lot of shade, so be prepared for some heat. Park is bordered by highway and railroad tracks, but neither bothered us. Looks like the little town of Helper would be fun place to have a meal, and is within walking distance to the RV park. We would stay here again on our trips between Boise and Albuquerque.Walkability: Very close to downtown Helper.

Our stay was absolutely amazing! The views were beautiful and the team there were so incredibly nice and accommodating! We loved the size of the park for getting a good walk in with our dog. The accommodations of the general store, the picnic tables, fires pits and bathhouses were clean and very nice. We will definitely stay here again!

Wow! and that's just the town area entrance - you can't wait to see more! The RV park itself is lovely, many sites to select from and some are quite roomy. The camp hosts were amazing: helpful, kind, and accommodating. They even have lists of local eateries -you MUST trust their personal recommendations because they are SPOT_ON. Restrooms are so clean and complete - nothing needed but your personal items. Thanks for having a great RV park!

Awesome place! We had a family weekend with a few tent sites and a few RV sites. Used the covered picnic area to be together for meals. The dishwash station is so handy! Everyone was very happy with the clean restrooms. We didn't know that we had to turn on the splash pad ourselves so we missed out on the hot day and figured it out on the cold rainy day. It's on the blue post!
