Heber store double charged and despite us fighting corporate and contacting the store many times we had to go to our bank and have them fight it. I will NEVER buy again from the company! Customers should be very very Leary of the Heber City store. If you choose to shop there and they claim the card didn’t go through, DO NOT let them run it again! Log into your account if it’s pending it will go through. I don’t know if corporate is to blame or if the local store is. Employees need more training and the local managers need more pull to refund. The manager kept telling us it had to be done through corporate. Corporate said it needed to be done through the store. My $250 purchase cost us $500!Save your self the time and stress. Shop elsewhere.

Graham (chihuahua) needed his nails done. Wren-to the rescue! Graham wasn't thrilled to be there, but was relieved to remember her and so that made it easier. I shopped for bribes as they did nails. Another successful nail session for Graham!Thanks, Wren! Well done!This is our 2nd review for Wren at Petco! time to give her a raise, Petco!! She really cares for our pets and we adore her!

I went to get harnesses for my dogs. 2 employees said I had the right sizes on them. They are way too big and now I can't take them back because they are used. 2024 customer service sucks.

Do not bring your pet to the Heber Petco for grooming. Very poor communication, unprofessional and unkind grooming staff. It took over 4.5 hours to give a bath and haircut to my 6 lb yorkie. When I called to ask on the status of my dog after 3 hours, I was told there were other “angry customers” who had to be dealt with and that’s why my dog’s grooming was taking so long. You can add me to the list of “angry customers.”

When me and my wife were in the market for a fish we went straight to Petco. The employees were very helpful and we were able to find a wonderful fish who we named “Preston.” Preston is alive and well nearly 3 months later. With a wonderful selection of accessories for any kind of pet and with a healthy selection of pet food, Petco is your one-stop-shot for all of your pet’s needs.

The store in Heber City, UT the employees were incredible!!!!! service was awesome!! They respected my kids, and had patience with all of the change they pooled together to purchase a guinea pig. the gentleman there helped us get everything we needed, as well as printed out everything we needed to know about taking care of a guinea pig. They were all so understanding to my kids!!!!!!

Shout out to Petco Heber! They were very helpful & accommodating to get my dog in for grooming when the Park City Petco canceled appointments when their air conditioning went out. Wren did a great job with Rita's cut. definitely would recommend.

My friend had just acquired his new puppy and we needed everything for it and this young lady I can't remember her name but she had tattoos and perching was so knowledgeable and helped my friend get the right things! Thank you so much we really appreciated all the help the entire staff gave us!

Clean store with friendly and knowledgeable staff. I only have fish and hamsters so I don't know how their prices are for dog and cat stuff, but their small animal product prices are pretty good. I haven't bought any animals from them.

A little small but had exactly what we needed at the time. Great to have these stores while traveling to pick up supplies when short on them. The staff here is what made the trip in the store great, super helpful and great attitude to helping the customers. If we are ever in town again and ned supplies this will be our go to store.

I keep forgetting the employee's name, but she is a very sweet woman who used to be the dog groomer, but is now the new dog trainer. She always gives my puppy treats and always gives us a warm welcome into Petco. Andrew, the manager, is also always very helpful and nice!

I usually have a good experience with my dog being groomed. This last time was not so good! My husky sheds pretty bad! They charged me 93.00 for a groom and he still had hair that needed to be removed. I am not happy with the results!! He needs a defiant do over!! Another thing they had us take our dogs leash and collar with us. When we dropped him off. I came Tom pick our dog up. I did not know that my husband had taken the leash and collar home. Hence my dog was hard to handle. He escaped out the the store and into the busy parking lot . Almost getting hit by cars! Luckily a nice couple had a leash for me to borrow and catch my dog and get him in my car!

I took my dog Howard in for grooming yesterday and was really happy with the experience. The price was very reasonable and after calling several private groomers and being told the first appointments were months away, I remembered that petco had grooming service. The wait was only a few days away, what a relief. They did a great job!

I made an appointment (2 weeks ahead of time) to get my dog groomed at a Petco I hadn't previously been to, NOTHING was said about needing vaccination records if I went to a different store as apparently they don't communicate this information. I had a busy morning with work and loading/unloading a baby while having a dog in tow only to be told, "Sorry we need her records or we can't groom her," did not make for a happy experience... ESPECIALLY since they could see my dog was in the system at a different store and had previously been groomed. LOGIC, PEOPLE! Very frustrating and disappointing.

I used to not like this place at all.But now that it's under a new manager (has been for a couple months) Andrew, this store has really turned around. He is super knowledgeable about all the animals they have there. I don't go to any other pet store now. I trust him with all my animals needs and health questions. Some I have even gotten confirmed by my vet. Love him and what he is doing to this store.

Very friendly and caring groomer. I felt comfortable leaving my dog with her and he can be a bit difficult. Rest of staff friendly and initiated conversation with me. Was slow and had to find an employee to check me out when I was ready. This is reason for not rating 5 stars.

When I asked about a product for cats, the first attendant told me he was the fish expert and didn't know, but he would get the cat expert, which he did. He was very knowledgeable and helpful, and told me about the 30-day money-back guarantee if the products I got didn't work.

I bought a bunch of stuff for our new puppy. Then went to Tractor Supply (across the street) for something else. Noticed that everything I bought was literally half the price at Tractor Supply. Same brands, etc.I then go back to Petco and they tell me I can’t return the product for a refund unless I have a receipt. Every other major retailer in the world lets you do returns if you have the same credit card you used. - Home Depot, tractor supply, ACE, and many more.The clerk had to call up the manager to “process a return” and he was totally rude, annoyed and wouldn’t even talk about the situation.I will no longer be going to petco. For things I need fast, I’ll go to tractor supply. And all other stuff, chewy.com.

In the past I have quiet enjoyed this store. But it seems it just keeps going downhill. The only reason I gave this to stars was because there is a gentleman that usually works in the fish department that is extremely knowledgeable. My last experience in the store was less than satisfied. We went into buy three frogs, on a Wednesday. They didn't have any so I asked when they might have some more in, the guy said hopefully Friday. Well ok. So I tried calling Saturday morning at 9 AM with no answer. I assumed they must've been busy opening the store so I tried calling back 30 minutes later and still no answer. We finally decided to just go over at about 10:30 AM we got in there and not all of the lights were on like they had just barely opened. We wandered around and then headed to the fish. Still no frogs so we decided we would just get fish for now. Waited for quiet some time looking and decided to track someone down to help (only one person was there) standing at the counter staring into space. I asked if we could get some help he came over a little later and I told him what we would like and his response was 'I can't get those for you.' I said 'ok how come?' ' Bc they are all under observation.' Like 3-4 sections of the fishes not just 3-4 tanks but SECTIONS apparently they had some sort of worm? The tanks were all dirty and very unkept. So bothered I walked over to the reptiles to look around and all of the cases were dirty. Some completely empty with poo and bugs wondering about. Walked over to the Ferrets and their cages were disgusting too. So decided to go check price on dog food to compare and of course there was no price tag. By the time we left I don't think I'll bother returning. Thanks to the older gentleman with knowledge. You are the only reason I would even consider returning.

I went and got a beta fish and the staff didn't know too much about them. They were very sweet and helpful except that they were a bit clueless to my fish questions. The store is nice and clean and has a large selection of fish and other products

I came here with my service dog and told an employee not to pet my dog who then insisted he helped me with a lifejacket I was trying on my dog and began petting and loving my dog after I had established he was not to be pet. It really bothered me because I had already told him not to. Other than that the experience was fine and I got what I needed.

Not only dead fish but my 15yr old saved all his money up and went to buy some fish. I was at Wal-Mart as we live far out of town. They told him I had to be there fine that's understandable. They told him he had 5 min to get me or they was kicking him out. I was, at the check out and ran right over about 2min after he called. They kicked him out of the store. So rude absolut joke .
