I've stayed here twice in the last year, and had good experiences.Pros: Their breakfast is probably the best free hotel breakfast I've experienced with lots of thought and care put into it. It's very clean and sanitary, and the kids love the automatic pancake maker. Lots of variety and it's fresh. The pool is always fun, and usually not too crowded. The beds are very comfortable, nice sheets blankets and pillows. The rooms are clean and spacious and accommodating for a large family. People working at the front desk are generally very helpful and friendly. Nice space for working remotely if needed.Cons: Nothing too majorly concerning here. Biggest con was the last time we stayed, we could hear the people in the next room being very loud and it was hard to sleep because of it. I could hear them very clearly, almost like their voice was coming through the vents way too easily or something. This was in the two king suite room. Also as far as the pool goes, the steam room / sauna has been closed every time so that's a bummer. You also have to be careful cuz there's a puddle of water outside of the pool. It's also a bit on the expensive side per night, but again I think you get what you pay for and there's decent value.Rooms: Clean and spacious rooms, nice decor.Walkability: Green River is small but you'll still want a car to get around from this hotel. It's tucked away by itself at the edge of town.Food & drinks: Fantastic breakfast provided.

Our recent trip to Bryce Canyon National Park was unexpectedly cut short by a snowstorm. Thankfully, the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Green River, UT, provided a much-needed haven. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the friendly staff. Juan, at the front desk, was an absolute star. He efficiently checked us in and even took the time to explain the benefits of the IHG Rewards program, signing me up on the spot. The room itself was impeccably clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, and the bathroom was well-stocked with essentials. As a newly minted IHG member, Juan also surprised us with a late checkout at 2 pm, which we greatly appreciated. The hotel offered a complimentary breakfast buffet in the morning. The spread was impressive, with options like cheese omelets, bacon, biscuits and gravy, pancake machines for fresh pancakes, eggs, and a variety of cereals, breads, and bagels.Overall, our stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Green River was fantastic. The staff, especially Juan, were incredibly friendly and helpful. While we didn't have time to enjoy the indoor pool and hot tub, they sounded like excellent amenities. The hotel was well-managed and clean, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we're ever back in the area.

I found the bed uncomfortable. Breakfast was nice and Juan at reception when we arrived was an absolute doll! He was very helpful and considerate to all the guests. I'm not sure how far the next city on I70 is so if you need a reat do stop by.Nearby activities: As you head west out of Green River if you turn South onto hwy 24 you will find Goblin State Park which is an interesting place to check out.

Green River IHG Hotel was a lifesaver during a snowstorm! We booked online at 9 pm and were greeted with the warmest welcome upon arrival. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our night was peaceful and comfortable, providing everything we needed after a long journey. The complimentary breakfast was a lovely perk, and the late checkout at 2 pm was a godsend, allowing us to relax and rejuvenate before hitting the road again. A heartfelt thank you to the team at Green River IHG Hotel for their exceptional hospitality and for turning a stressful situation into a pleasant stay. Highly recommended!Rooms: Rooms were clean and tidy. Loved the ambiance.Safety: Felt very safe here.

I absolutely LOVED the Green River location of IHG. First, and for most, the front desk clerk, Juan, was FANTASTIC! He made me feel welcomed immediately with his friendly smile and outgoing personality. Juan seemed truly concerned with our travels and wanted us to be comfortable at IHG. He explained the hotels breakfast, WiFi and any check in procedures to us in clear and easy to understand terms. The breakfast was nice offering several hot and cold items, the coffee bar set up is great since it offered many choices in flavorings. The outdoor patio area is phenomenal!!! It offers several seating and heat options and the view?!?!!!! WONDERFUL!!! I absolutely enjoyed every second I spent on the patio taking in the scenery. The only negative comment I have is in regards to the bathroom. While it appeared clean, the baseboards and and around the floor edges need more attention from house keeping.Noteworthy details: Beautiful view.

Checked in with a very nice host. Got to our room, brown/yellow water in the toilet, hair in the sink. Called the front desk to change rooms. The nice host said that the water was just turned back on and that was why the toilet was dirty. I flushed a few times and it was ok. Cleaned hair from sink. Then checked the room and all the sheets and pillows had black spots all over. So we spoke with her the representative and he said that he could change the sheets, but most likely it would have black spots as well due to bad washing machine. I said ok, please change. He said that he would be up in 10mins. We waited 25mins and no one showed up. We packed up our things, headed downstairs and told the host that we were comfortable with the room and experience and would be leaving. He said since we booked through a third party (credit card points) he wouldn’t be able to refund. I said ok and would contact my credit card company.I contacted my company, they contacted the hotel and they said there was no record of this happening. Unfortunate, dishonest, and I would not recommend staying here. Drive further to Grand Junction or Richfield for your stay.

Our family of six stayed here in mid-October. We all really enjoyed this hotel. The cost was quite a bit less expensive than hotels in Moab, but the rooms were newer. Our kids spent 2+ hours swimming in the pool. The super-size hot tub was also a nice touch. We used the outdoor seating area for dinner which was really nice, especially with the outdoor heating units. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice enough hotel for a very small town in Utah. We arrived at 4:35 PM after 10 hours on the road and the hotel was a welcome sight. Check in was easy and we headed to our room on the third floor. The hotel seems to be newer than most and therefore furnishings were very much up to date. Our room had a fridge, coffee maker, huge tv and very comfortable beds. The bathroom was nice but had a tub/shower combo that I hate. Who friggen uses a tub in a hotel? Gross! Shower pressure was also a problem and therefore hindered a 5 star review. Most Holiday Inn Express feature a very good breakfast buffet. This buffet was underwhelming to say the least. Powered eggs and dried up turkey sausage was on the menu for our one night stay. Checkout was easy enough but dude checking us out was somewhat gruff. Far from friendly, just there to do a job. The good outweighed the bad and therefore I awarded this Holiday Inn Express 4 stars.

I am beyond impressed with this hotel. Talk about a little oasis in the middle of nowhere. Definitely the nicest holiday inn express I have ever stayed at, and among the best hotel in general I have ever stayed at. Brand new building, full breakfast, room furnishings are excellent, tons of plugs and charging ports that all work and are easily accessible. Full shower instead of a bathtub, and it even has a night light in the bathroom! All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I will definitely seek out Holiday inn Express more often!

Room was clean and comfortable thank you Guadalupe. The toilet was an issue. Got a plunger from front desk. Didn't help. Told front desk this morning what was wrong and he said someone would look at it. Seemed like he couldn't be bothered with it.For the price we paid for the room, they should have comped it or something. Had to use the lobby restrooms.

We had such a great stay at this location! I loved that the rooms had Dove shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap available. I forgot to pack these items and it was nice having good quality products to use in my time of need. The staff was amazing and made the check in and out process easy. Breakfast was standard for a hotel but everything was great. For anyone that is going to the area with ATVs or Dirt Bikes the side of the hotel has a nice open space to ride. The pool and hot tub were my children's favorite part. Overall I would give this a 10/10 and definitely book again in the future for other trips.

Late night stay. Got a room that fit 2 adults and 6 kids, crib, sofa sleeper, 2 queens and the couch cushions made the room a perfect fit!!!Food was great, service was good. Overnight lady was super nice and super helpful. Room was SPOTLESS, which means a lot to us. I'd stay here every road trip.Trash was full, and with an extra take out in between during breakfast wouldn't of been over flowing. But that's it.Food was great!!

It was the perfect location for us. We spent multiple nights for our trip. It was central to the locations we were visiting. Arches, Goblin Valley, and little Wildhorse canyon. We were there for 3 nights. The complimentary breakfast had plenty variety for my family. Anything from pancakes, mugfins, fruit, yogurt, eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy, etc. Service for breakfast was better on the weekdays (Thurs. and Fri.). I didn't get her name, but she was always cleaning up and making sure the food was full. She even commented on my kids excitement for the pancake machine. My kids also loved the warm sweet rolls. Saturday morning lacked the same level of service. The guy was on his phone the whole time and sweet rolls were cold because he waited until they were completely gone and I asked if they had more before he put more out.The 2 King suite was perfect for my family of 6.

This is not a 2 star hotel; it needs a higher ranking. Everything was perfect. The lot is full of license plates from everywhere (if you're playing that game) because it's in a great spot of you're headed to or from Salt Lake City. Pool, hot tub, breakfast, clean quiet rooms, smartly designed power outlets, safe location, free parking, vending options, nice staff... basically a flawless hotel experience, and really affordable.

My wife and I stayed here overnight during our travels back to Las Vegas. Out of all the hotels in this city/town, I believe this is probably the newest of them all which is why I wanted to stay here. This property definitely delivers when it comes to overall quality, affordability, and customer service. The hotel has ample parking spots whether you're arriving in a sedan or pulling a trailer. We may have arrived during a non peak time because the hotel wasn't full at all, which was also great. The amenities offered at this hotel is phenomenal; although I didn't get to swim in the pool or use the fitness center this time around, I did walk in there to check it out and for a hotel gym, I was shocked on what was available with respect to gym equipment. The area of the hotel I was really shocked with was the back of the hotel. The seating areas were so relaxing with the gas fire pits, outdoor tv's, and the open view of the field/mesa. If you're staying on this property during the colder months, you can enjoy their fire pits, standing heaters, and their outdoor fireplace all at once.I was thoroughly amazed on how many security cameras there were on property. I'm not sure if this was a proactive or reactive thing, but I enjoyed seeing it for the overall safety of its employees and hotel guests. The "free" breakfast was adequate...I know people will always find ways to complain about free meals, but I was satisfied with what was available and the quality of the food. The one thing that was less than adequate was the boiled eggs; the eggs were a little frozen, which was unfortunate because I was looking forward to those. But like I said, everything else was good, to include the coffee.Depending on what you're looking for, I felt the location of this hotel is decent. We actually walked to the nearest gas station (Maverik) to get a couple adult beverages because the hotel didn't sell any. I was a little disappointed that there weren't any stores, restaurants and/or bars nearby within close walking distance, but hey, I didn't lose sleep over it.As for the room itself....outstanding! The bed and pillows were extraordinary and the size of the king suite room was exceptional. The bathrooms were nice and clean and offered quality toiletries (Dove brand). The one drawback was the quality of the walls, ceilings, and floors. Although the hotel wasn't as busy, I could hear the people walking around (either next to, above, or below us) - people walk with a heavy foot way too often these days. The tv had some great options for available channels if you're concerned with entertainment and the refrigerator was a decent size.Overall, the hotel and its staff were truly remarkable. If you're planning on staying in this city/town, I highly recommend you stay on this property.

This is a new hotel. The staff was neither friendly nor unfriendly and efficient. Check-in was easy. We took advantage of the fitness center that was empty and provided some movement after driving all day. Breakfast was included with our stay and they had a great selection. From cereal to biscuits and gravy with eggs and sausage. The room was mostly clean. Multiple USB plugs. Good sized room. Great overnight stop.

The hotel appears to be really new and is just about perfect. Very clean. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. I'm not a fan of the single comforter, too hot. I have to set the temperature of the room down low, but then I'm freezing if I have to go to the bathroom. However, that appears to be industry standard. The fitness room looked great although my key card wouldn't open the door. The breakfast is pretty typical for this type of hotel. So glad they have this hotel at this location.

Decided we had to stop for the night while traveling home from Albuquerque. They were able to accommodate our request for two rooms next to each other, although they weren’t adjoining rooms like we really had wanted. But it was close enough, and on the spot with no reservation having been made in advance. Newer hotel, so rooms were clean and nice. Would stay there again in the future if we stop for the night in Green River.
