Great KOA. We were able to get two spots that face each other so we could hang with out friends. It was clean and quiet. No problem getting our 45 foot fifth wheel in. The staff was great as well.

I recently stayed over the weekend everything was good until Saturday afternoon one of our bathrooms ran out of toilet paper. Sunday morning both bathrooms had no toilet paper so I call the number that was left for us to call if the bathrooms need attention. I called 7:24 am Sunday morning to let them know there was no toilet paper. The guy said someone will be out in 30 minutes to fill it up, I let him know that was not ok we have been out of toilet paper in one stall since Saturday afternoon. One hour goes by and STILL NO TOILET PAPER. Not to mention in the bathrooms they had dollar store soap and it was not soap, it was watered down soap… this is a bit ridiculous considering a camp site with no electricity, water, or shade (no trees to be found) cost $80 a night. After going to the office at 8:30 am and calling trail side after hours no one was “available”. I had to call the marina side to get ahold of someone and ask for toilet paper. Finally, some worked came by and drove right passed the bathroom. I had to call marina side AGAIN and let them know there was no soap or toilet paper. I stopped at the overflow side to pick up my trailer (which I was charger extra for my vehicle) and saw the golf cart coming down the road. I stopped to ask them if they happened to put toilet paper and soap in the bathroom since last time they drove by they didn’t put anything in. In the middle of me trying to talk to them they drove off. I cannot believe this is the type of service we get at this location.

I thought I was going to have to do a bad review but... they made it 100% better. We reserved and prepaid for 4 or the 4 man bikes. When we arrived they only had one available. We had 40 people with us. That wasn't going to work but we had to think of something. They gave us a refund for 2 bikes and let us play gaga ball, corn hole, and the big bounce pad. We are having so much fun. But then Micheal wanted to make it better. And have everyone be able to ride. So he started sending the girls out on 2 man bikes, and whatever he could get us on. He even gave the leaders ebikes!!! He was amazing!!! He was so friendly. I think felt bad we got a refund and went back into repay. But they wouldn't let us. They said it was no problem 😊 we will come back for sure.

Very nice facility. The bathrooms were very clean and attractive. The staff was very friendly and hardworking. We were really impressed to see them working at almost 9 PM last night. This is close to all the little drive-ins that have the famous raspberry shakes and close to the lake. It is much quieter than its counterpart at the marina.

Pulled into Garden City for a much needed lay-over. We first tried the Marina Side KOA, which looked very fun for a family with kids. Lot's of action there... but my wife and I had a little quiet, restful place in mind, so we moved on over to Trail Side. Very quiet. The property was very neat and tidy. While quiet, it still had many activities for kids and family (playground, games, horseshoes, etc.) Facilities appear to be fairly new.

So it’s been along time since staying at a KOA, but this was great! We were not even planning on staying at Bear Lake but ran across this. They had 1 open spot and we were running out of options. It was great for the kids, they have a jump pad, basketball, volleyball, nice grass... and the city pool is right next door, and free. My wife was so impressed with how well maintained the restrooms were. Friendly staff and pet friendly also.

Absolutely adorable. Stayed in one of the new 6 person cabins and it was perfect for my sister and I with our 4 kids. Staff is great, bathrooms/showers were the nicest ones I've ever seen. Will definitely be coming back soon.

Nice pull through places with lots of space! Clean laundry facilities and restroom actually looked and smelled clean. Playground and jump pad were a hit with our boys. Staff are very friendly and helpful! Restaurants are within biking distance - wonderful raspberry shakes! We will be returning!

I think this is a good campground if you have the right expectations. It's a small space and pretty cramped, and there are a lot of people. Don't expect to be getting back to nature here. This is a campground best for trips when you only plan on sleeping at the campground. There are volleyball sandpits and some other activities, but I would recommend just using this place as a cheap home base for your lake trip. That said, the bathrooms were really well kept and it was quiet at night. It's a good place to stay as long as you aren't expecting it to be a main attraction of your trip.

The location is great for lake and mountain activities. It is lacking a lot of vegetation and tent/cabins (only 4 cabins) and you kind of feel overrun by RVs, but the staff more than makes up for any faults this place may seem to have. Super friendly, accommodating and overall just great to talk with! They do patrol the area a lot (like, every 10 minutes or less) so that gets kind of annoying.I've been to a number of KOA facilities on the west and this one, by far, has been the best just because of the staff and location in relation to the lake.

I've stayed here 2x now and highly recommend this KOA. The toilets and showers are clean, the grounds are cared for and the staff is very friendly. I thought I booked a pull-through site online but I guess I didn't - Regardless, my gal Wilma took the time to look around and get me a different site so I didn't have to back in.

The staff lied to us, then accused us of having more people on our site then we said even though the manager came to our site and set us up. When we told the staff the manager was the one who set us up she lied and said no she didn't then proceeded to argue with us. We asked to talk to the manager but everyone refused to let the manager know we wanted to talk to her. I hated Being there and will never ever go back.

Dianne was the park manager at the time I had called in and that I had spoken with to cancel my reservation due to extreme weather conditions throughout Utah. She lacked customer service skills more than anyone I’ve ever worked with and was not accommodating to me at all after she had lied and told me that there would only be a $10 cancellation fee the first time that we had spoke on the phone. She had then called me back and told me that my deposit actually was not refundable at all. How can you do that to someone? She literally told me that she was not God and could not control the weather, and because they are a privately owned campground they would do just fine without my business moving forward. I understand that you have a 48 hr cancellation guidelines but you want us to drive hours to camp there and pitch a tent through thunderstorms for the next two days. I don’t think that would be very comfortable for my two year old and wife. Have some decency. I even asked if all of the other sites were booked out and she said that they weren’t; meaning that even if I canceled they wouldn’t lose money because they could just rent another one to someone else.

My husband and I were there with friends and ended up in a very serious boating accident that left my husband being taken by ambulance back to salt lake. I stopped by on my way out of town following the paramedics to tell Susan I wasn’t sure what was going to happen but someone would be getting our trailer to bring home. She was so sweet and accommodating and took care of everything. When my husband is back to feeling up to camping this will be our place to come! You can’t beat the hospitality and kindness!Thank you Susan and staff it was comforting to know I didn’t need to worry about our trailer. One last thing I had to stress over 🌻

We are new to the travel trailer scene and these guys made it so easy for our family. We plan on staying here soon. All the staff were very accommodating and friendly and there is so much to do for little kids. Super clean and close to so many fun things there in Bear Lake.

We stayed at the Marina Side last time. This is NOTHING like that. There aren't a lot of trees so not much shade. It's a newer Paul so the facilities are clean and new. The park is just not pretty and they don't have the amenities on the Marina Side. We'll go to the Marina Side next year. The lake was still beautiful.

This was a great place to stay, the staff were very friendly, and the grounds were very well maintained. The showers were very clean, as well as the bathrooms. This campgrounds is also in a great location, being just a short drive to the lake. All in all I would definitely camp here again.

We went for a trip to bear lake without planning a camp spot. These guys were the only ones who could accommodate us, which was great as the bathrooms were relatively clean, and we had a place to pitch our tents. Pretty typical RV park, but the staff was very friendly.

Enjoyed our stay at Trailside. Camp area was clean, quiet, well furnished and well taken care of. Bathrooms recently renovated. Camp near everything important - trails, the lake, raspberry shakes, grocery store and the mouth of Logan canyon. Will stay again.

Friendly staff, clean bathrooms and close to downtown (if that is what you are looking for). On the other hand, campsites are pretty close from each other, and if you need a COVID cautious camp, this is not your place: no one will be wearing a mask in common areas (not even staff) and social distance is not a thing there

This is a BEAUTIFUL campground with mountian views all around. It has updated and modernized well kept restroom and shower area. The staff here has been very welcoming and kind. The tent sites definitely have room if you need more than one tent at your site.

No complaints. Just really close together and lots of kids and lots of dogs. Staff was very friendly and there was a good view of the lake (from our site), but it wasn't like you could easily walk there. Fire pit was available and picnic table.

Magnificent campground. Very well maintained and plenty of staff to monitor the goings on. Excellent amenities and best of all they cater to tent campers. Not all KOAs do and I really appreciate them for letting me stay.

I highly recommend the trailside KOA. The staff was so helpful and friendly and our kids really have fun with the activities. It is a great camping spot. Candice really went above and beyond to help us and we really appreciated her friendly spirit and great level of service. We will be back!

Nicely maintained KOA campground. Pool is well taken care of. We arrived after hours and they had our paperwork waiting for us...
