Very cool place! Lots and lots of artifacts to look at, the historic pictures are all very clear and blown up so you can really see them which is cool, and the guy that runs the place was beyond nice! He even opened the place early when he saw us pull up and gave us lots of cool information about everything in here. I definitely recommend coming here and dropping a few bucks into the donation box!

Definitely worth a stop if you'd like to know more about the area's mining history. The small museum is packed with era items, both directly related to mining and also related to life in the towns that supported them. Be sure to check out the old mining equipment and machinery behind the museum. The building just to the south houses a mocked up school room, sheriff's office (with the town's old jail out back), one-room house, and more mining and era paraphernalia. The docents were fun, knowledgeable, kind, and plenty patient as kids peppered them with questions.

Love this place, so much history to learn there. It's a small town place. But filled with such rich experiences

More than a mining museum for sure. In addition to some great rock displays, there are so many interesting things tucked in corners and on shelves that you could spend hours looking around. The owner was charming and entertaining and knew the history of the area well.

Very educational place! A long time local by the name of Billy Baum has the answers to your every question and a great story for every item, antique or just one for your entertainment. Recommended to all who love mining history

It’s pretty out of the way, but if you have the time, enjoy history, or just want to visit a jail instead of staying for 6 months, it’s a good option. It gets pretty hot in Eureka in the summer so bring water.

Mayor Nick, and the Tintic Historical society have been fantastic in assisting me in the creation of the documentary, The Price of Silver.

This is well ran when it is open. It only opens during Eureka events such as the Jubilee. So much stuff in there to see and learn about.
