I stayed at the lovely Loubird Inn in Escalante for two nights and so enjoyed my stay - I only wish it was longer. The rooms are thoughtfully appointed with everything you need, even beyond a hotel and I loved the common patio areas and all the touches that made it feel like home. Communication was great and also be sure to try Haylee's restaurant across the street - Magnolia Kitchen - it's great to be able to grab breakfast on your way out to hike. :)

We spent two nights at the Loubird Inn and loved the experience and hospitality Hayley and her family are wonderful hosts and the central location is perfect. We had a great breakfast at Magnolia's Kitchen, also owned by Hayley, only a couple of blocks down the street. I am vegan and they were super accommodating. This close- knit town is wonderful and many businesses, such as Hayley's, really go out of their way to support each other and their visitors. Highly recommended!

Room was clean and lovely . I have to agree that this is more of an air bnb and not a traditional bed and breakfast as we did not see the owners at all until they needed some information on our charge card. We were notified of the change in breakfast options months ago, and so , could have canceled, but chose not to . There were no surprises, but it was still disappointing to miss out on the personal touches one gets with a b and b. It is a nice airbnb type accommodation.

My family and I stayed at the Loubird Inn and were thrilled to stay at a bed & breakfast with such good reviews and delicious breakfast photos.Unfortunately, the owners recently decided to stop offering hot breakfast, and despite the high price per night there is no housekeeping and the breakfast is sparse (bread, a nearly empty peanut butter jar, some jam, butter, Cherrios and two other dry cereals). It was the smallest breakfast offering we've ever seen in a hotel. The rooms were clean, but no housekeeping is offered (despite a housekeeping tips envelope in the room). Overall, it gave us a very Airbnb feel where the value for the price did not match. We would not recommend this hotel to guests in the area.

We stayed in the Sunrise Room, which was beautifully designed and so cozy after a night of camping. Haylee & Garin were incredibly welcoming and made sure to say hello on our way out for a day of hiking. We had a fire one night and their little ones wanted to join after I said we had marshmallows (whoops - it was a school night), but we ended up having a great conversation with them and the kids. It felt like a little home away from home. Stay here and support local folks who know the area and care about making your stay comfortable!

My husband and I loved our 2 night stay at The Loubird Inn a couple of weeks ago. It felt like staying in the home of a dear friend. We would certainly stay again if we return to Escalante.

We spent several nights at the Loubird and will absolutely stay again. Clean (fastidiously clean); comfy (windows that open for sunshine and cross breezes, heating and cooling available, great mattress and bedding, a bath with places for your things and a more than adequate shower; casual & elegant decor; five star friendly- hosts (including the kitty) and a good location in town.

We stayed at Canyons Bed & Breakfast for two nights and were thrilled with our experience. The rooms are beautifully decorated, with all the amenities that hikers and travelers need. The garden surrounding the rooms is carefully and lovingly kept, and is a cool haven in the middle of the dry canyon lands. Finally, the hosts Julie and Dan were lovely. They provided great recommendations on hikes and prepared delicious breakfasts that were carefully catered to hikers. Couldn't have asked for more.

We stayed at Canyons B&B in April 2021 and had an excellent stay. The hosts were extremely welcoming and engaged us in personal conversation. They were extremely knowledgeable about the Escalante area and gave us detailed information on specific local hikes we planned to go on to help us be prepared. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. It’s obvious the couple running this B&B love what they do. The resident cat is absolutely adorable and the common area garden is gorgeous and peaceful. I would 100% stay here again!!

Our stay was PERFECT! The rooms we were in were comfortable. The beds are great and our 2nd night, we were in the Garden room and the little balcony was so relaxing and wonderful. The breakfasts we enjoyed were gourmet and delicious. They were very filling but if we were still hungry, there were several other options available to us. Our hosts provided us with a lot of advice on our planned excursions for the day and we would have struggled a bit had he not spent about 30 minutes explaining some tips and tricks that made our day much more enjoyable. If you can visit, you should. We will be back!

We stayed here for two nights and would have loved to stay longer. My wife and I and our 2 adult boys stayed in The Cowboy and The Cabana rooms which shared a lovely outside porch and faced the beautiful back yard. Danny and Julie are exceptional hosts and gave us all kinds of tips for the local hikes and activities. They prepared a delicious breakfast each morning which set us all up for our active days ahead. We can not say enough nice things about this B and B. It is extreme.y comfortable, quiet, meticulous and a great base for exploring the beautiful Escalante area.

My partner and I had a wonderful time staying at Canyons Bed and Breakfast, the whole place is lovely with kind and helpful hosts. They are very knowledgeable about the Escalante area and offered us several hiking tips. The room was perfectly clean and the breakfast not to be missed. I would recommend staying here to anyone looking to visit the Bryce Canyon, Grand Staircase Escalante area.

We spent two nights here, and just loved it. Haylee and Garin were great hosts. We stayed in the Garden room, which was very comfortable. The backyard of this place is even prettier than the pictures. Breakfast was delicious, and we could easily walk to restaurants in Escalante. My husband and I recommend Canyons BnB for a relaxing stay in a cool little town. The whole experience was just easy and stress-free.

I wish I could give bonus stars to Canyon Bed and Breakfast! One of the best, if not the best, BnB we’ve stayed in that checks all the boxes. This is a convenient location to nearby hiking/outdoor activities. The rooms are nicely decorated, very comfortable and exceptionally clean. Dan and Julie, the lovely owners, are self taught gourmet chefs...breakfast was excellent all three mornings! They also can provide great tips/suggestions for hiking trails, etc. We would definitely stay again at the Canyons BnB...highly recommend!

My partner and I were blown away by this beautiful, quaint and kind BnB. The owners are so kind, courteous and make a incredible nutritious breakfast in the morning. Loved the attention to detail on the room, decorations, garden and needs for the guests. Really felt at home at this BnB. Everything was clean, and just what we needed for our one night stay. Definitely recommending to friends and family and would 100% stay here again our next time through the area.

Julie and Dan are wonderful hosts and cooks, and gave us great advice and stories about the Escalante area. We stayed in the Garden Room, which has excellent sunlight and a side porch that's the favorite of Moqui the cat! Breakfast is even better than the photos, and you can pick fruit from the garden.

Fantastic B&B! The food is great and the rooms very comfortable. The owners are really friendly and go out of there way to make you feel comfortable and ensure you enjoy your time in Escalante. There are a million reasons to return to Escalante and Canyons Bed & Breakfast just added one more.

We booked this online based on reviews and comments and we were not disappointed. Natalya does a great job of making the stay and enjoyable and worthwhile experience, with knowledge of the local area and passion for the out-or-doors! Understand, though, that this is an adult facility - there are no children under 12 and NO PETS! She puts on a great breakfast and has a very nice and clean place that was just up our alley...in fact we extended out stay a couple days because the place was so comfortable, and we had found even more to do in the area with Natalya's help! i would certainly book Canyons again when back to Escalante, and I can recommend it to you, also. Say HI to the cats for us, too!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed celebrating our 48th anniversary at Canyons Bed and Breakfast. Besides being a beautiful place with flowers, gardens, and beautiful trees, our room was pleasantly decorated with attention to every detail. I ran out of Q tips and I found some in the bathroom cabinet. My husband forgot his tooth brush and Julie and Dan brought him one. They were such friendly, helpful hosts. They let us know about plenty of things to do and places to eat lunch and dinner around Escalante.Their breakfast was delicious. Julie brought us her warm homemade bread every morning. She even gave me a start from her yeast and told me where I could get the recipe from her web site. We highly recommend Canyons Bed and Breakfast.

This was such a sweet place to stop on our trip after multiple nights backpacking in the Escalante!Room was very cozy with king (!) bed, great shower/bathroom (tampons, earplugs, hair dryer, etc. provided), fridge/tea/coffee maker in room, community lounge with everything you could need (tea, coffee, popcorn machine (!), hiking books, plates/bowls/silverware, ice), outdoor deck space, included DF/veg breakfast with homemade bread (which she brought to our deck, due to Covid concerns, to eat outside vs in dining room), sweet community garden space, and right off the main highway through Escalante!

The owners, Danny and Julie, are very welcoming, kind and skilled chefs! Their b&b is homey and clean. Escalante is the right place for anyone wanting outdoor adventure in the most remote and beautiful parts of Utah.
