We booked a room after coming out of the back country and could not have been happier. The rooms are clean, beds are incredibly comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower amazing. The decor is also really charming. You can tell a lot of love has gone into this place. The bottled water in the mini fridge was a nice touch.Super bonus - when I am tired, I snore like crazy. Our "room," was actually two rooms with a door in between. That meant my husband could actually sleep after our long hike. :) Cute little kitchen in one of the rooms, bathroom in the other, so it functions like two rooms but feels like one.In a world where everything has become cookie-cutter sameness, this was a real treat. Definitely recommend and will stay here again.Nearby activities: Great home base for exploring Escalante wilderness areaSafety: Feels very safe.Walkability: Easy walking distance to everything. It is right in the middle of Main Street.Food & drinks: Great food options for being such a small town.

Stopped by on a trip to Utah with my wife and this place was very cute. The “hook, line and sinker” room had lots of funny decor and the location of the hotel is walkable for wherever you want to be. The other guests were quiet and respectful and the no contact check-in process was quick and easy. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone. The price was reasonable as well!

I hope I remember this little motel the next time I pass through this area. It was in a fantastic location, was very quiet, super clean, run by the friendliest people, nicely decorated, and very quaint. It has a rustic look and feel, but all amenities are modern. Finding this motel was a real relief, after staying in an absolute dump the previous night while on a motorcycle trip. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was nice and bright. The western motif was thoughtfully executed.This is a fair, honest and accurate review of my stay in room 21 on May 20, 2023.

I always stay at this rustic Inn when in this part of the world. Ethan and Elaine make sire you're comfortable and satisfied. The bed and pillows are of good quality, assuring good sleep.Have yet to locate local author Christopher Ketcham and the green-doored Wiccan house in Escalante. We'll keep trying!

This little motel was a pleasant surprise. Very clean and comfortable and beautifully decorated room. We got the Harley Davidson room with a plush memory foam bed, galvanized steel interior decorative wall, and leather chairs. Nicer than most big name chain hotels. Would definitely stay again!! Lots of hand-crafted art and decor in the room. Truly special.

Wonderful place. Drive up entrance. Nice covered front deck area to sit and get sand out of shoes. Had a picnic table too. Neighbors were cooking with their stove on it. Beds super comfy. Nice walk in closet with great lighting. Clean bathroom with space to put things on. Sofa large and comfortable.Self check in super easy.

Really nice rooms. Super clean. Nice decorations and touches. Outdoor decor was cool too, with very old artifacts displayed around. Quiet. Very comfortable bed. Walking distance to two of the markets there.Walkability: Walking distance to markets and restaurants.

Great check-in service from Ethan, after I made a very last-minute reservation via a booking app. He also recommended some great local restaurants.Only complaint was the noise of the window heating/cooling unit. It was pretty loud, and no matter the temp or fan settings I tried, it would run, stop for about 30 seconds, and then cycle right back on, over and over. It woke me up a couple times.Otherwise, the rooms were nice and it's a great location in town.

This motel was great. The decorating in the rooms made the stay fun. the only thing we would suggest is another table or dresser in the rooms to provide more space to set things. Also a word of warning. Although the bathroom windows have pebbled glass, there are no curtains, they are still see thru. Be careful standing in front of the window at night.

Quirky, cool and every last detail taken care of.General store next door is fab, loads of bits - food, snacks, gifts and more.Local Burger joint across street, Nemos. Can recommend!!!We got ours and came back to the Inn and enjoyed it on our porch, with some beers from the store in front of the inn! Perfect.

Very nice place with rooms that have rustic themes and amenities like fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. My room had a pretty large closet too. All the rooms have a little porch area where you can sit in the wooden chairs and watch the world go by and have a drink. I did. Highly recommended.

During our adventures in Utah, my wife and I stayed here and it was such a nice and clean room! Charmingly decorated and the bed was very comfy. Highly Recommended!

My bad experience at this motel came before we checked in.I booked 4 nights through Hotels.com. I needed to change it to 2 nights, and Hotels.com said I had to cancel and rebook (I'm sure this is a Hotels.com problem, not their fault). When I canceled, Cowboy Country Inn had already charged me for one night (it was charged when I booked). The cancellation policy says you can cancel without penalty up until a certain date and I hadn't hit that date so I figured it wouldn't be a problem.Boy was I wrong. I spent a month trying to get a refund. According to Hotels.com, Cowboy Country Inn was the one who charged me and therefore they couldn't refund me. They told me I had to contact the motel. Unfortunately, this motel doesn't answer the phone. I tried many times.After a lot of fighting, I finally got Hotels.com to make an exception and refund me themselves. While I'm glad I didn't have to pay extra, the motel still stole money for service they didn't provide, so I can't give them a good review.We still stayed here for two nights (I wasn't going to try to get refunded a second time). We had no major problems once we got there. The WiFi didn't work when we arrived, but they resolved it quickly.I wish there was a way to get ice there. They make you go to the gas station and you have to pay if you need it more than once.Based on the fact that they don't refund people according to their policy, I wouldn't stay here again.

A small old hotel, owned by two woman, who have developed each room with a theme. It obviously has a woman's touch, which helps overcome its age. Check in is an interesting response to Covid (I think), as there is a board with envelops with your last name clipped to it, inside which is the key to your room. The office was closed, but instructions tell you to enjoy your stay, then place the key thru a hole in a wooden box upon leaving. It was a quiet, interesting & pleasant stay.

This is very nice motel in the middle of nowhere. Very clean and cute, extra large shower with shampoo and conditioner. There is microwave, coffee maker and small refrigerator. Mattress is too soft, but after a day hike you'll slip like a baby. If you planning to check in late, then give them a call in advance they'll tell you where to get a key, keep in mind that you're on the middle of nowhere and more likely you'll have no bars on your cell, so be smart and think ahead.

Very nice decorations, and great staff.Everything clean, functional AC, nice beds.I hated the weak / slow Wifi, you can’t do anything even on text-only pages. That might depend on the room you’re in, but really, just buy a better router for 30 $!Could use a bit more furniture, like something next to the bed; you have to put everything on the floor.

Nice hotel.The unique cowboy decorations and items in and around the hotel is almost an attraction in itself.The room was not big, but clean and super cozy and also had a cowboy theme.Chairs and table on patio outside room was nice.Friendly staff.
