Stayed two nights. We had been camping for a week and a half. The showers, bathrooms and laundry were so nice and clean. We saw them cleaning them every day. We had lots of laundry and the machines were newer than other RV parks we have stayed at. and well kept. The staff was really nice.It is next to the highway and a busy local road, so we were worried about noise, but it was nice and quiet at night. We slept well. We have put this on our list of places to stop for an overnight when we ned it.

RV park has about 28 RV sites and maybe 8 cabins. Most sites are smaller, see the online park maps, but some are larger. Full hookups, showers and laundry. It is located in town, witjin walking distance if some shops and restaurants. The owners are extremely nice and very helpful. 1 of the UTV trails is accessible from the S end of the RV park. Overall, a very nice , handy place to stay.

We decided last minute to take our 5th wheel out for a short weekend and decided to go to Escalante. We arrives a bit later than we had expected. Ben came out to greet us and told us where our space was. We had a wonderful night sleep and when we got up, I spoke with Ben again and asked him what sights we should see. He gave us several ideas and we explored the town and surrounding areas. We got ready to leave on Sunday morning and one of the tires on the trailer was low on air (almost flat) Ben got his air compressor out and inflated the tire and then checked the rest of them for us.Escalante is a beautiful and rugged area. We will return and stay again. This is a "ma and pa" operation and we loved being able to enjoy the family type ambience. There is a shower and laundry onsite as well. we did not use these facilities but I walked through them and found them to be very clean. I would recommend staying here with an RV. There are several cabins available to rent as well. Thanks Ben and crew! We will return!

Catching up on helpful reviews.Stayed here in 2021.Really well-maintained park. Would stay again!Overall: 4 out of 5. Generally nice and decent location. Clean and maintained nicely. Sites a bit close to neighbors.Check-In: Simple and convenient. Pre-check via text. Knew exactly where to go. Also met by a really nice host couple to greet us.Friendliness: Nice people.Store: Did not go inside the office. Might not have been a store.Site: Pull-through. Somewhat level. Packed dirt/Gravel. Not much grass available for pups. Unpaved.Hookups: Full hookups with 50 AMP. Worked as expected.Location: 30 min to an hour from Escalante National Monument, Capitol Reef, and Bryce Canyon. Some decent food nearby. Believe it or not, you have got to eat at Escalante Mercantile! Everything is so good! Pizza is among my favorite there. Truly! Not happy with cost and quality of Circle D restaurant next to the RV park.Laundry: Nice facilities.Park's Wifi: Googling. Could not work on it. Needed to use our hotspots for work and to stream a movie just fine (we also have WeBoost).Propane: Not to our knowledgeIce: Not to our knowledge

Super clean showers and facilities, very kind hosts, was great to have the option to do laundry and get ice. We had a great tent stay, definitely recommend!Nearby activities: Goof location for doing hikes in Grand Staircase-Escalante, like the slot canyons. 5-min drive from the petrified forest too!

We definitely recommend it! Cute cabin (number 1), with a porch overlooking a tranquil garden and BBQ area. Very friendly host. The cabin and the shower building were in great condition. The Mexican food truck next to the reception is really good, too. Overall, a great base for exploring the Escalante area.Walkability: Several cafes and restaurants in Escalante are within a short walkFood & drinks: Georgie's Mexican food truck offers great food and a friendly welcome. It's right by the entrance.

This campground has a great location, close to food and only a 20 minute drive to a ton of hiking. It's very clean and well maintained. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and kept. The bathroom/shower and laundry facilities are spotless. One note on the showers, you will have a fabric curtain for privacy but no locking door to the shower (womens bathroom door is locked with a code). We stayed in Cabin 4 which is one of only two cabins with an in-room toilet and sink, however, you will not have a private fire pit. If you want a bathroom and a fire pit I suggest Cabin 5. The room was small but beautiful and very clean. It comes with a small fridge and a microwave. The 4 star rating is for the bed. The mattress was very flat and uncomfortable (tossed and turned a lot and woke with sore lower backs) and the pillows were very flat as well. Other than the bed we loved our room. If you're looking to stay in the RV section, while it is very clean and maintained, make sure you consider the size of your rig. You will be on top of your neighbors. There was next to no space between sites and the spaces seemed quite short. The camper vans we saw fit perfectly but people with trailers and fifth wheels had a tight fit. Overall we really enjoyed our experience here and would definitely stay again.

I had a tent space. The ground is sandy that's good. There are benches and firepits around. It looks quite nice. Also the bathrooms are clean. Everything was fine.Walkability: There are restaurants around.

Arrived to camp at their tent sites. There are no seating or sheltered areas near your tent site. The sheltered areas and grills are on the opposite ends of where all the tents go, so if you’re in one of the middle tent spots you’re SOL if someone from the cabins and/or other tent campers have their stuff stored. Tent spots are in direct sunlight on sand. When we arrived it was direct sun and 92 degrees. Had to build a fire because the grill and covered areas were claimed. It was just so hot and no where to seek shelter aside from baking in your tent, so we retreated to the car many times to cool down. The bathrooms are very clean and have a full laundry service. I wish they allowed you to use card to get quarters. Decent views but I wouldn’t recommend for the summer. (The bench in the photo was for the cabins that face the tent areas. It’s a little messed up to have the cabins and their nice covered patios facing directly at the hot, sandpit tent sites.)

Rented a tent spot here after hearing great reviews from friends. We really loved the spot. The tent sites were a little smaller and you weren't able to drive right up to the spot, but it wasn't an issue for us and everyone was extremely welcoming. The front desk person immediately suggested amazing spots to take our dog and kid. Every other staff-member was ready to drop their work and help us, especially after a cold night. We even texted asking for a bundle of firewood while we were out and it was there waiting for us! The bathrooms were cleaned everyday and it showed how much they cared. I'd definitely recommend it. We hope to be back soon.

The air conditioner was loud AF the road noise was loud AF the bunk bed situation was plastic thin mattress that was cold and just made you wet and the ultimate stupid rule that you rent a cabin and you park in a parking space and if your partner is snoring super loud in the room you can't go out and sleep in your car that is like ridiculous if I want to sleep next to the campfire I want to sleep on the porch or I want to lay back in my car and relax I should be able to! paid for the cabin & paid for the parking space but not allowed to use it that makes no sense everybody's sleeping in there class A's and Class B's and class C's that just got a camping spot without a cabin so why can't you relax or even take a nap in your car in the driveway of your cabin it's ridiculous

Wonderful experience visiting family who were staying at this RV park! The facilities (shower, restrooms, laundry area) were always sparkling clean and the whole park was tidy and felt very safe. It’s a walk away from various restaurants and easy to get in and out of. Would definitely recommend staying here!

We stayed here for two nights on our two week road trip through the south west. The bathrooms and showers are exemplary clean. None of the 20 or so RV parks I have stayed in before was that clean. Everything is very well taken cared of. You’re very close to food options like Escalante Outfitters and hiking, like Hole in the Rock road. WiFi was actually usable unlike most other places.Safety: It’s a very nice and safe town.Food & drinks: Escalante Outfitters which is 2 minutes walking distance has very good pizza, sandwiches (BLT), and beer!

Stayed here for 3 nights in our pop-up trailer. The facilities are very clean and well maintained. The showers have a lot of pressure and the water is hot. Nice laundry facility. Good wifi. You can walk in town if you want something to eat or nead to go to a store. I recommend the place.

The park is very clean. The owners, Ben and Lacey, just bought the place two years ago and are working hard to make it nice. They are VERY friendly and we loved staying there. The only drawback is that it needs more trees. Like I said, they are working to make it nicer, hopefully that will include more trees. Very clean bathrooms. Nice showers. We loved our stay there!

This is our 3rd stay at the RV Park. It keeps getting better and better. Full hookups and wifi. Spotless laundry. Best we have encountered in 7 years of travel. It is conveniently located and even has a little trailer serving Mexican food. Or you can walk to several restaurants. Their premium sites are a bit larger with fire rings for grilling. Cabins and tent sites also have fire rings and are in a park-like setting. Lots to explore in the area and this is the best way to explore Grand Staircase Escalante.

We were unable to make our trip due to illness. We called first thing in the morning of our three day reservation to let them know. They were more than happy to cancel our reservation. When I later asked for a partial refund, I fully expected to lose the deposit, they informed me of their 48 hour rule, which was probably disclosed somewhere. I assumed with the reservation being for multiple days they would offer some partial refund or credit for future stay. Nope. Please beware of their cancellation policy before you book. This is not flexible enough for family with little kids. I hope my spot stay empty all weekend since I paid for it.

If you are in an RV or Tent this is a great stop (I have not tried the cabins). I make several trips to Escalante a year and I’ve tried BLM, hotels and other tent spot rentals and this is my go to. Very friendly, and great showers and bathroom. Tent sites are flat and big enough for my 10x14 springbar. For longer stays I get an RV spot to have electricity but I still use my tent.
