Al's is the best! The Staff is friendly and helpful, restrooms are clean, and the deli food is amazing! Even the packaged treats and refrigerated salads are really good! We drive through Duchesne a lot and this is our go to stop.

Small town grocery store/market with a pharmacy. Lots of items in a small space. They mostly had everything I needed and I could tell the employees were busy working hard and being friendly.

Stopped on a RV road trip for some fresh produce and real sugar Pepsi (surprisingly hard to find at times).Small Town full service grocery including Pharmacy, deli, bakery and some "department store" items. Clean restrooms. Friendly, helpful staff.Located right off US 40, with easy access and decent size paved parking lot.Reasonable selection and fair prices.

Friendly staff. Decent selection. Clean store and great service deli. It would be nice to see the floor in better repair and produce is pretty pricey. However, you'll generally find what you need here, especially around a holiday with great sales. The corn flakes on this Au Gratin potato dish came from Al's and they were fresh and crispy.

Nice store that is stocked with lots of products. Good selection and friendly staff too. I was able to get donuts for my crew since the Coffee shop next door didn't have any. Fresh donuts were $15 a dozen.

Half the food is bad. The staff is absolute garbage. Management doesn’t treat staff of customers well. They price gouge. They want $7.29 a pound for asparagus! Half the produce is always bad and often has mold on it. The health department needs to put them out of business

Seems they are going downhill recently. Both my daughter and I have gotten rotten meat there. However the latest was Green tea with slim in it. And a different drink my daughter got. That was also 2 years outdated. My daughter got sick I got extremely sick due to health issues. Come on guys we know ya can do better....

The staff are nice and friendly. The products are a little over priced, however they do have good deals on occasions. For a small town grocery store it is a pretty standard grocery store.They do have a lot of great looking nick nacks, novelty items & knives. A lot of gift ideas or items for your own self

Not just a gross tore, this place is great for gifts too! I love shopping here whenever I'm in the area, thier large gift area has some real unique stuff you don't find anywhere else and the prices are fantastic!

Had a conference in Duchesne last week and went to Al's to see what was in their deli. Their chicken was delicious and fresh, not dry. Whatever honey mustard they had at the deli was the best I've ever had! They had an interesting non foods set up that drew me right in. Cool store!

Small local store, but they're deli is amazing and fresh. They have unique items for gifts etc. And prices and rewards program are great! Friendly service, however I, being Gluten free wish they would expand their freezer section in this department... But overall fantastic little store. The pharmacy is the BEST in the basin, extremely accommodating, friendly, knowledgeable, and the only one who does compounding in the area! Wade at the pharmacy has turned into a dear friend and goes above and beyond for his customers.

Great selection. Very fair prices. Some items are even more affordable than my regular grocery stores in Salt Lake and Ogden.I always stop by Al's whenever I'm in town.

Even though Al's is a small town grocer, the prices are comparable (and sometimes better) than the big box stores.The associates at Al's have always treated my husband and myself with sincere kindness. They make the biggest difference.

Great local store, small but reminds of shopping back in the 80s very cozy and old school and I loved it! Ill be moving up here soon and may apply for a job there?? And from out of town was recommended to go there!Thanks Al's Food Town!Only downfall I saw was small meat selection, but it is a small town!

I went to Vernal for a funeral and have very odd allergies, and so does my mom (but different from mine.) They were willing to check and figure out what we could eat with out getting sick. They were very nice about my husbands service dog and were extra nice.Thank you for having a very nice establishment, and thank you for everything.

It is an old building, and the layout is a little awkward. The prices are reasonable for a small town grocery store. The selection of canned food could be better.It just never seems very clean, especially the restrooms, which are awful.Once you get familiar with the place, it isn't too bad.

Al's is a great little store located right on main street in Duchesne. They have all of the things you will need for enjoying the basins many things to do. They also have some very cool things to just look at, and maybe even take home for a souvenir from the basin area.If you need any food, camping or other various items while in the Uintah Basin area, this is definitely the place to go.😁 Happy Camping

Its a decent little small town grocery store. A small selection of the popular items in everyday eating. Cashiers are friendly.. Looks a bit run down. But I dont imagine the owners getting rich out there. Its a shame Duchesne City cant figure out how to attract business to their small town. Hasn't been much since the Bureau left In mid 80s.
