Useless and rude employees. Went this store to buy a service for a Stihl trimmer. Was told by the employee that they don’t sell service kits or spark plugs for Stihl products. The Ace Hardware website showed that this store had 7 service kits in stock. I was even able to provide the store SKU, as well as the manufacturing number to the employee. But he was still not able to find them or look them up at all. Totally useless.

They give great personal service. They have most everything you need. The store is small so you are in and out very quickly. Great guys and gals. Home Depot is my last go to. This is the first place I head for, even for cleaning supplies.

Went online looking for canning supplies. Ace showed they had it in stock. Drove across town to get it. Not only did they not have ANY of the items I was needing. But the clerk was rude. He stated he had “never seen it” in the store. I told him that their website said they had two. He then said “well we don’t” and that it happens all the time. The website is never correct. Won’t waste time with them ever again.

This store was a struggle. I had found something on the Ace app and specifically drove 30 min to this store to get it. When I got there, the staff seemed confused. One person couldn’t get the cage open, so then another person comes to help and he’s super cranky. He unlocked one of three cages for this item and kind of poked around and declared they didn’t have the item. He said it “might be in one of the bin in back” and that I could check back tomorrow night. I explained that I had driven from a ways away and would not be able to come back tomorrow night. I also mentioned that the app said it’s in stock at that location, which made him reply with some surly comment about not believing what I see on the internet. The whole experience was totally a 180 from Ace’s usual customer service and we won’t be going to that store again.

Picked up some stain. It was the best price, quick availability, pickup was a breeze. The kind person who helped me with my order offered to mix it up, provided a paint key to open easily and shared some trivia about Journey. A+ experience. Thanks Ace.

I've tried to use their curbside pickup twice now. First time I ended up canceling. I placed an order this morning for a curbside pickup and it's now 5:00 and I still haven't heard back from them. I decided to go to the the store and call them. I've been waiting now for 15 minutes and they still haven't brought it out. The should NOT be advertising Curbside pickup when they're obviously not set up for it!!!

According to the official Ace Hardware website, the only store anywhere near me that has the item I was looking for in stock is the Draper store, a 25 minute drive away. I drove down there and spent about 15 minutes in the store looking for the item on the shelves and asking for help from the staff including the manager. The manager finally acknowledged that the item was not in stock and the website was wrong. He said "sorry," but he didn't say anything about fixing the website.

We came to this store and purchased our traeger. We tried to go to Herriman right by our house but they were letting some in an not others. They're happy to help us here. The older guy came outside to give us our coupon for free stuff from traeger. So nice.

My wife noticed that this location was showing enough birdseed feeder bells that we wanted to buy our neighbors for Christmas so we drove all the way across the valley to the Draper Ace Hardware. Upon arrival we only found one birdseed bell on the shelf and so my wife asked the cashier in the front if there is more. The reply was "probably not". I spoke up and said the internet site is showing more on hand. For the folks reading this, I kid you not the associate working replied with "The internet lies". Wow, customer service at it's best. That was the full extent of his wiliness to help and look for more.

Mike at store in Draper Utah was wonderful. I have never had such great, kind customer service. He should be applauded. It is hard to find this kind of service today. I will continue shopping there.

they close at 7 not 9 as this says. they also seem to have issues answering the phone during business hours. was told we could get our key programmed, drive down to the store then they said nope, come back tomorrow. really? my time is worth more than thus will go to home depot more. ace less.

I used the online portal to order some items online for local store pickup. They said I would receive an email telling me my order was ready. I thought maybe this would be a great option since I have a couple errands to run and am getting short on time. After no email for almost 4 hours, I went to the store to find 3 teen employees standing around doing absolutely nothing. I asked them about my order and apparently they just hadn't gotten to it yet. I placed this order on Wednesday around noon so its not like they were busy. Unfortunately its worth the hassle just to drive a little further to Home Depot to get stuff.

I needed a tool and was having a hard time finding it, I went up to the front desk and asked for help seeing if somebody would be able to help me. The employee searched for about 2 minutes after looking up the general area for the part. After not being able to find it, he decided to go help other customers and ignore me completely walking away from me quickly. Extremely rude wasting my time won't be back.

Customer Service Issues at this location. I placed an online order with from store delivery. Tracking showed "Preparing for delivery" for at least a week. I called the store and couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. When they did finally answer they acknowledged that they had received the order several days back, but nobody had contacted me for delivery or to tell me that the order was ready.

Ace Hardware in the last state we lived in was amazing. But this store in Draper clearly doesn't understand a customer minded model. I called and asked if they were going to be open until 6 and they said yes, but when I arrived at 5:51, the employee had just locked the door. I asked why he was closed early. There was no remorse, he just said once he coded the alarm he couldn't open the door. I literally needed one thing and drove 20 minutes to get to Ace. I guess I'll just go to Lowe's next time.

Bad Customer service in this store.Won't be shopping at ACE again.Was trying to purchase a butterfly plant crook for my garden. I checked the online inventory and found a store that showed it in stock. I drove 9 miles to the store and couldn't find it. So I asked an employee. Showing him on my phone that his store showed it in stock. He wandered around a bit and told me the inventory must be wrong. I went home, got online, placed a pick up order and it was ready to pickup within an hour. So it was there all along.

Great local shop for quick runs. Lots of BBQ supplies. No, A LOT. Good paint selection and Yeti mugs and coolers for days. They do propane exchanges and refills as well!

Brought in my car key to get cut and programmed. They programmed the new key, but ruined the old key. No apology. No problem solving. Kept my $90. So congrats Ace Hardware, your $90 and poor customer service bought a one star review, lost a customer, and bought me repeating this experience everytime I see your commercials or drive by your locations to other customers encouraging them to go elsewhere.

Outstanding venue for just the things you need...and a lot that you don't but buy anyway! 😆 Used to shop for 'stuff' at the nearby KMart...but when that closed a few years ago, I've been at a loss. Now for that quick nut or bolt or weed killer or fitting or whatever...Ace is the Place for me!

Called to verify that I could get a propane tank refilled at 11:00am. Was informed by a staff member that he cane from another store today and there wouldn’t be a staff member onsite until 4:00pm that could refill propane. He stated that there are 4-5 people certified in propane refills but none would be available until 4:00pm that afternoon.
