This store is 1 step up from dollar tree but not quite Walmart status. I love their prices but you do get what you pay for. They have. Collection of house wares, automotive, toiletries, clothes and baby items. Today I stopped in for wipes, good price. The store does seem overly cluttered with its shelves overstock with too many items. But it’s cheap. The cashier today was pleasant. Only thing I don’t like is the push at register to buy candy for their contest.

Still had what we needed even with the store closing. Cashier was very nice friendly. Felt bad tho cuz he was busy & no help. Y'all still need more than 1 person.

Good service, didn't have the app on my phone due to storage space so the cashier offered to issue a one time courtesy coupon for me, but then ended up not following through. Why offer if you're not going to do it? Poor customer service skills...

The store was well stocked however the prices seemed a bit higher than I expected. The customer service is what stood out for me. Laura is what made it a 5★ experience. She's great. What a pair!

This particular store in Clearfield should hire people that take ‘Pride’ in their workplace and know what customer service means to them. This store was messy, dirty, and very unorganized. There was product scattered on the shelves and the floor throughout the entire store. Some of the isles were completely blocked off with unpacked boxes which can be dangerous in case of an emergency. Customer service had me wait to checkout because she was venting to another about how tired she was and how she couldn’t wait for her shift to end. This store doesn’t even deserve a star! So disappointed 😚

Would give thus place 0 stars. Im trans and was thrown out if the store for carrying my purse while the whole time the Hispanic worker kept calling me sir and demand I leave. Never been so insulted.

The staff is usually pretty friendly. The cashier today was so amazingly patient with the older lady in front of me who was trying to download the smartcoupons app. Then when it was my turn she helped me to make sure I had the right coupons and my account was correct so I could save the most money. They could have more clearance items or one main clearance section instead of random things kind of spread through the store. I would rather look at all clearance items at once then have to hunt for them. Overall this is the store I visit the most often.

I have had multiple horrible experiences at this place & will not go back. The manager is rude & does not care about customers at all. They do not honor the return policy listed on the Family Dollar website & then when you finally push it to get store credit, the gift card doesn’t even work. It’s a joke!

i went in to the store on HWY 193 and main st .in Layton. Jan 2 2021 SO SO nasty and dirty. only1 person working as always. This store needs better attention and cleaning it looks like only homeless people go in this store the parking lot is always always full of cigarettes butts SO GROSS.I WONT GO BACK

They charge you more than the prices that are marked on items, then they argue with you and won't do anything about it. I bought an item and they charged me $2 more than what was marked on the item. I'm DONE With THIS STORE THEY ARE CROOKS.

As I am a believer of keeping small businesses alive and I shopped at family dollar vs Walmart but with a simple altercation of an item costing me a dollar 25 a simple little pint of milk I purchased from family Dollar which was 3 months expired knowing that it's only a dollar I didn't care the price I cared the fact that I almost drank a 3 month old milk expired and I went to tell the lady at the front and she says there's no way my milk lady changes it every Monday while I had bought it less than 3 days prior and she accused me of being a liar so I left the milk and will never return as a customer again

"We don't have a public restroom." That's what she said to me. I went in Wednesday morning just needing to kill time and planning to buy some things while I was at it. I wondered around for a minute to get a feel of the place. But my toddler and I needed to "go potty" so I searched the perimeter and found the labeled restrooms near the front. Tried the handle on the woman's and it was locked. Ok. A few places hace restroom keys for customers. No big deal so I asked the cashier.So... I can't use your toilet? Wow... ok, bye.I went to Kent's across the parking lot and spent my money there. Got some better deals anyway.

I always like looking for deals at family dollar. The store is okay. The staff great you when you come in the door. You can find some good deals sometimes for the house or yourself that won't cost too much. I like this store.

I went in here yesterday and an employee wasn't wearing a mask and touching her face. There where trip hazards everywhere. This place is starting to look geto. It's overpriced and the employees don't care how it looks.

Starting to hate this place. The clearance price is the same price as regular price. Everything overpriced and the staff is ALWAYS RUDE. I only went in there because it is close to other things i have to do in that area. Now im gonna drive out of my way to other stores just to stay out of this place. I HATE BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE...thats whay im never shopping here again.

Awesome store friendly staff lots of parking, for handicap as well, bathrooms available. Lots of meat things to buy. Good quality items not cheap stuff the way it use to be. Frozen food as well

Went here for bacon and bullets. Wasn't surprised when all I came out with was clamidya and turtles. 9 out of 10, would rather have gone to dollar tree.

Expensive, not a dollar store. Cost is pretty similar to that of a general grocery store. Not sure it's worth the visit. Sorry.

This is a cheap place to buy things, they have a little of everything. They only have two people working when I go in and I always have to wait in line.

Stopped for a pair of readers and to other things. Had to go back later to pick up the readers because apparently I left them on the counter. Why they didn't make it into the bag is a mystery 😡
