My wife and I LOVE this place. We have been coming here for the past four years while going to college. We love THE DEEP DISH COOKIES!! They recently added a single serving size (see first photo) and I think this is a great idea! We personally like to share the big one (see second photo), but we also love eating it until we feel sick! And I think it’s a little more bang for your buck (It’s seriously so good)They recently just changed ownership, and the new owners are amazing! They’ll literally run out into the parking lot after you to make sure you had a 10/10 experience (true story). We also LOVE what they are doing with the place! They’re making it feel like a true small town ice cream parlor and I’m convinced it’s going to continue to increase in popularity for a loooong time. We’ll be looking forward to stopping in every time we pass through cedar after college!

We tried a vanilla and a carrot cake cup cake. The cupcake itself was rather dry. The custard in the middle has little flavor and didn’t add anything. There was a thick layer of buttercream on top but it seemed to have some pother fat in it as well.Very disappointing because they look so pretty.

Remodel is done. They offer ice cream, cupcakes, mini tarts/pies/cheesecakes, and even have daily soup options if you want to make it more than a dessert trip.Indoor and outdoor seating.Back inside wall has shelves with products from local vendors/articisans.

They had a reopening this weekend with new ownership and wow. This place is amazing! They’ve remodeled and the place is darling. We got yummy ice cream (cookies & cream was BOMB), the snickers cheesecake is dreamy, and the cookie dough cupcake was delicious with the perfect amount of icing. They have regular and cheesy sourdough breads, brownies, cookies, etc. Oh and they do custom cakes! Long story short: this will be our favorite go to place for yummy desserts for date and family nights!

Amazing artistry! I placed an order online (which is awesome!) and I was expecting a simple cake with the face of Jake the dog from Adventure Time. The cake artist called me and gave me several options to make the cake more dynamic. The cake artist really went above and beyond with my daughters cake and when it came time for pick up I was completely blown away! This cake is sheer perfection! My daughter absolutely loved it and didn't even want to cut it! On top of the amazing design the actual cake and filling was so decadent! Phenomenal biscoff flavor with the perfect amount of sweetness! Such an amazing experience!!!! Can wait for our next cake!!!

A shocking amount of ice cream for a single scoop. You could make the single scoop your entire meal. My coworker was not impressed with the brownie. You can't go wrong with the made from scratch ice cream. The huckleberry pie was ice cream is definitely worth a taste.

I feel bad writing a bad review- because I never do. But my experience was disappointing and I will never go back. I would like to save someone else $10. I ordered chocolate croissants. They were sitting out and then the cashier put them on the counter near the register with no packaging or paper- just put them down on the bare counter -gross. The croissants were so dry and old - took one bite and threw all them both away. Not fresh and not good. The place looked a mess- and the kitchen behind the counter looked disorganized and gross. I really wanted to like this place but I won’t go back.

Palette Bakery did an incredible job on our wedding cake last July! It was delicious and they complied to every small detailed request. I would 100% work with them again. They did everything they could to help our cake be affordable yet so so beautiful! Thank you Palette Bakery!

Visited Palette Bakery for its Grand Reopening, and got the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup cheesecake. It was incredible. New owners have done a great job remodeling. It's a clean and vibrant atmosphere, and a great place to grab a treat.

They are extremely expensive. In my opinion it's just not worth it. The atmosphere is pretty nice, and they have outside seating. It is very clean. However for a medium icecream (approximately 3 scoops) they charge over $5. Aside from that, the ice cream has a nice texture, but honestly out of the flavors my group got none were satisfying.

The cupcakes and cheesecake were DELICIOUS! I came in with my mom and we met the owner. She was so kind and we talked with her for a while about life and how she became the owner of the bakery. She has an amazing story and I’m glad we had the opportunity to meet her and enjoy her bakery.

Placed a custom order and the frosting designs were sloppy and were the wrong colors and did not match the event and the plastic packaging came damaged/melted and was very sharp. Flavors/taste were just okay. Overall very disappointed for the money that we paid. Will not be returning.

I very rarely post reviews much less negative but I feel the need to. I ordered a white cake with white frosting and blue accents and sprinkles. Total price came to 61.10. I called the shop and changed the white frosting to cream cheese frosting. Picked it up today and was totally shocked to see the size of the cake. It was a quarter of the expected size. See picture. Instead of white cake it was a weirdly flavored banana. The top layer of the cake wasn't cooked all the way through. Very few sprinkles. Frosting was not cream cheese. So disappointed. Will not shop there again.

My husband and I ordered our wedding cake from Palette and it was absolutely perfect! It was painted and displayed beautifully for our reception. We also did a cake tasting with them as well, it was so much fun and they helped with all my questions and concerns. Thank you so so much!

Stopped in this place while passing through town. Restrooms out of order, not very long line but slow moving. Decent variety of flavors but apparently we chose the wrong ones. We thought the portions were priced well, just didn’t enjoy the experience as much as we had hoped we would.The tables were dirty, the floor was dirty and the little IPAD that you pay your bill on, was filthy.We were headed for Dairy Queen when we saw this place, and we always prefer locally owned concepts over chains. But in this case, DQ would have been a better choice.

A pretty average ice cream shop. The staff was friendly, but nothing too exciting. There were a ton of flavors but the flavor I had -french caramel latte- tasted like just vanilla.

Beautiful place! Very clean and so cute! Tried a few flavors of ice cream, and had a Red Velvet custard filled cupcake...so good! Service was awesome! Went back for warm fresh cookies the next day...yes I like my sweets and they hit the spot! They go above and beyond to make your experience great! Wish I had taken photos but I ate it all to fast!

This place is great! They have a variety of tasty desserts and ice cream. The ambience is great and they’re open late (at least on weekends). But the staff is the best part. We stopped by after seeing a heavier play at the Shakespeare festival, and the staff members who helped us were absolutely delightful and cheered us right up. Highly recommend!

I have been to Palette Bakery several times in the last few months to try their cupcakes. I love a good cupcake, and I haven't had an edible one from there yet. The cake on each one has been dry and crumbly, most have been flavorless. I did have one that wasn't dry, the coconut lime cupcake, but the cake was too dense, it wasn't palatable. On most of them I've purchased, I have just eaten the frosting off, but I have also had come where the toppings weren't good. I have read several review on Facebook that talk about the dryness of their cakes. It's unfortunate since they are the only bakery in town. Haven't tried their ice cream, but it's hard to go wrong with ice cream.
