We decided to grab an early dinner with the lunch buffet. As great as our service was, our food was not that good. Most of the "hot" food was lukewarm at the most and the choices weren't that great. The dessert area was sad to say the least with only vanilla soft serve in the machine that was labeled chocolate and swirl. The hot cocoa was good along with the mocha. I definitely would skip this place and eat else where if you are in the area or staying in the hotel.

Our server, Deegan, was excellent, professional, and very personable. Unfortunately, the food was a bit of a letdown, our NY Strip was rather tough, though it was cooked at a perfect MR. The Flank Steak was good, however the only real highlight was the pies for dessert. We didn't try the buffet though it certainly looked plentiful.

Love the cowboy theme and that the Inn has been family owned for 100 years! The history of the Inn is really cool definitely worth reading about.Breakfast buffet was TWELVE DOLLARS per Adult 🤩 coffee included and the food was delicious! Bacon, eggs, salsa, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, fresh fruit and cottage cheese, hardboiled eggs and oatmeal!! Everything was sooooo good! Definitely stopping here every time we pass through!They serve buffet from 6:30-10(:15?) Then breakfast is more expensive and served by the plate rather than buffet style

Good experience. I think the buffet quality food is lesser quality than ordering of an entree from the menu. Get there for lunch buffet if you wanna pay less. You can ask for cheeseburger from the lunch menu during dinner. They have two menus. Salad bar is great. We were there 2 separate times while visiting last. I would go back again.

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner. We had the local trout (from nearby Idaho). This included potato and asparagus, and our server was very accommodating to double up on the veggies and forgo the potato.This also included one trip visit to the salad bar.Quality of everything was great. Portion size of the trout was very ample. Prices were most reasonable.I don't understand the low rating received by others. I'd return as the buffet looks amazing and is also reasonably priced.

Very convenient location on the main street around where most of the accommodation is located.Especially if you are staying at Best Western Ruby's InnVery busy so best to get in early or book a spot.Great atmosphere even with the place being booked out.

Clean, a decent place to dine when leaving the canyon. It has a small grocery store, reasonably priced souvenirs, and a restaurant which has a buffet. As for dining experience, kitchen was fast, but the server was slow for what I would consider a slower day. Gets busy during peak season, service could be better. There are lots of options in the area.

I ordered a steak and a coke. Delicious and enjoyable lunch there. The restaurant has salad buffet section which I liked. Vege and protein was perfect combo for me!And I felt here's kid-friendly. I admired how servers kindly treat kids by providing some kid menu papers and pencil that help kids spend their time with joy.I wish to come back and stay in this historic inn!

We went to Ruby's for dinner and enjoyed a perfectly cooked and seasoned rib steak. The salad bar was well stocked with all the fixings and they also offered a wide variety of food on their buffet. Afterwards we strolled through their store which contains some beautiful Native American artwork and lots of other tasteful memorabilia. They also had a grocery section and camping supplies. You should definitely stop here while in Bryce Canyon.

Large restaurant, amazing buffet bar. I had ordered the coconut shrimp, they were very dark in color and may have been cooked in old oil, they tasted fine. My fries were luke warm and were replaced with fresh ones. My wife had a New York steak that tasted great, as did the pecan cheese cake. Service was ok. The vegetables with the steak appeared to have been frozen from a bag, not appetizing at all.

There was 5 of us that ate and all satisfied! Huge portions. 3 ordered entrees and food was delicious and hot. The veggie chicken sliders were a hit with the vegetarian. Buffet was great with pot roast, meatloaf, salmon, pork chops and chicken, along with a bunch of sides. Service was great and restaurant was clean. The place was packed but wait time was only 15 minutes.Vegetarian options: Veggie chicken slider sandwiches are good.

Very convenient location, the general store is pretty up-marked, but they have a captive audience.It is not clear that some rooms will be detached and you'll have to walk outside to another building to use the indoor pool.

On our trip to Bryce Canyon, my wife and I ate dinner here. I had Ruby's Old Fashion and the Steak Tacos. (I'm sorry I ate off the plate before I remembered to take a picture.) The drink was great👍 The tacos were full of flavor. I wish I had chosen a different side. The rice was good, just not what I was expecting. Jesus was our server. He was kind and curious. It was obvious that they were busy, but he came by to check on us and refill our drinks. Great service, great food. We will stop by next time we go!

Pot roast, roasted chicken, salmon, pork chops, mashed potatoes, general vegetable mix, carrots, salad bar, a couple of cake desserts and soft serve ice cream - this is a good buffet. You get your fill for $26 in September 2022. We all agreed the pot roast was best. I imagine the steaks and custom orders are more impressive than the buffet but we got the buffet. Service was good. The place is a fun environment. The attached general store is a tourist dream. Overall, a nice place to enjoy a sit down dinner.

TLDR: Racially discriminating waiter and waitress. Avoid!!No waitress showed up to help on getting water or beverage until we sit in the seat 10mins later. The cup restocking waiter shout at me because I entered the beverage room to grab a cup of water and even said ‘Thank you’ to him. If customers are not supposed to get beverage themselves, why waitress doesn’t timely show up to serve water?? Really disappointing to see these low quality staff still get employed

The food was okay but I ordered off the menu because the buffet didn't look appealing. My meal came with a great salad, mediocre mashed potatoes with white gravy, and over-cooked mixed veggies. The dessert I was looking forward to was a brownie with ice cream. The brownie was cold and hard to cut through.This restaurant is good after visiting the park and you're super hungry but it's not something I'd go out of my way to eat at.
