I stayed at Bryce Canyon Pines for four nights but I would not recommend it. The rooms are small and outdated. The door handles require a physical key and if you lose it, you'll have to pay $25 for a replacement. During my stay, the hot water wasn't working but the front desk was not very helpful. They simply apologized and didn't offer any assistance. When I asked to switch to a room with hot water, they claimed to have no availability, but the parking lot was empty. The restaurant's food was also terrible. I ate there for breakfast and dinner, hoping it would improve, but it didn't. Even other guests were complaining about the food. Although I was told I would receive compensation for the hot water issue, there was nothing on the receipt when I checked out. If you're looking for a hotel near Bryce Canyon, I suggest you avoid Bryce Canyon Pines.

Highlights of this review: No hot water, bad costumer service/unavailable after 9pm, unsecure doors/locks. We stayed at this hotel for two nights at the end of March. We had hot water the first night, although it didn't get that hot and was on and off with colder water. The rest of the stay we had zero hot water. We were not notified about this or given any explanation and only received a 10% discount after complaint during checkout. On our second night here, we arrived to our room at 10pm to find our hotel door wide open. We attempted to contact front desk by ringing the doorbell for after hours support and no one ever came. In the morning after inquiring if there were cameras so we could see if someone had tried to break into our room, we were informed that our area of the hotel does not have security cameras and the locks on the doors are "old and need replacing," so front desk person thought maybe the wind blew the door open???We did not feel safe here. We didn't get any reimbursement for any of our other complaints and the management did not respond to multiple attempts at communication. Thankfully the Sheriffs in this area were extremely helpful and kind humans.

Would not stay here again. It was clean. That's where the positives end. If I came to this park again I would pay more and stay elsewhere.Terrible beds! The worst beds I've been on in 20 years of hotel travel. Very dated rooms. Not enough plugs. Super low shower, anyone 6ft or taller will probably hit their head on the ceiling. There is a restaurant on property but if you don't want to eat there any other food is 5-15 miles away.

We were 2 couples, non smokers. We stayed 1 night and when we left we have been charged 250$ for cleaning fee, because according to them we smoked in the room. None of us smokes so it was clearly not us but they don't want to refund. Called many times to speak with the manager but without succes. It is a pity because location is not bad and the close restaurant is good but definitely a place to avoid as they seem to take advantage from foreign tourists.

Received a call at 6:30pm that our area of the hotel was shut down due to maintenance. We drove hours to get to Bryce Canyon. We will arrive at 7pm and have no where to sleep. The hotel simply offered a refund and an apology. We now have to find a place to stay tonight last minute and will likely have to pay 3x what we paid when we booked this hotel in advance. This is a nightmare! I can’t recommend a place that cancels on their guests last minute.

We drove from out of state to stay at this hotel after booking months in advance. We called the front desk to inform them we would be arriving at 10:30pm their time. The front desk woman informed us that the office check in closed at 10pm but that she would leave the key and map for us. We arrived at 10:30pm and picked up the key from the Dropbox. It was the WRONG KEY, we spent 15 minutes between three adults trying to open the door. There is no night watch or emergency number for incidents like this. It is currently 30 degrees outside and there appears to be no vacancies anywhere nearby. Aside from that the place is very run down and smells bad. DO NOT STAY AT THIS RINKY DINKY MOTEL.Update: We drove back to the parking lot to sleep in the car for the night. We decided to try the door one more time and it opened on the first try. When we arrived in the room, one of the beds smelled like someone had slept in it and there was trash in one of the trashcans. Everything else was clean. We suspect a non-guest had been staying the night and left when they heard us trying to open the door. When we originally tried to unlock the door, it appeared the deadbolt may have been bolted from the inside. The hotel gave us 50% off for the inconvenience, but I would not come back again. Its very expensive for the quality of the room.

This place is lovely!!! Great view & beautiful property!!! Very well cared for. Clean & gorgeous pool & hot tub that are as warm as bath water!!! The staff here are wonderful!!! They are so warm & welcoming!! They make you want to come back. The restaurant is delicious!!! We ate there several times & enjoyed every meal!!! The rooms are nice and clean. You can 4-wheel from the restaurant parking lot!!! 4-wheeling here is spectacular around Tropic Lake. Beginner to intermediate…. Only one advanced trail that we went on. We want to mention some special staff that really made this place great to us; Evan at the front desk is amazing!!! At the restaurant there is Mallory, Mattie, Alfredo, Arturo & Anna!!! We love this place!!!

Lovely Lodge nearby the Red canyon and Bryce Canyon. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly, available snd supportive: at 11PM we couldn’t figure out how to start the shower as the system was unknown to us. We went for support and were kindly helped right away. The location does not offer breakfast, however there is a restaurant 1 min walking distance open from 7 am.There is an option to book a horse ride in the red canyon: the experience was stunning as the route brings you to few beautiful overlooks! Mike, our guide, gave us few details about the area along the way. Definitely a life worth experience!Close by to bryce canyon and bryce city.

We had a pleasant stay! It is not luxurious, but we were there to take in the scenery. The location is great and the price is very reasonable. Bed was comfortable. It appeared that our room was missing a table, but one was retrieved for us and placed in the room which we really appreciated. It was super convenient to have the restaurant downstairs for breakfasts. If we are back in this area we would stay again!

Great hospitality and clean place near Bryce Canyon National Park. We got room 101 which had a nice private porch with chairs, the room was clean, bed was comfortable enough and the shower was warm. Plus the new owner was so very friendly.

Bryce Canyon Pines is a hidden gem within the Bryce Canyon area! It is only 10 minutes from the Bryce Canyon entrance. We stayed there for the pricing, but was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the rooms, the overall maintenance of the grounds, amenities and the friendliness of the staff. There is a swimming pool and hot tub for guests and a restaurant on site. Even though it's just a couple of miles away from the center of all the entertainment, it's well worth the savings and experience. I highly recommend this place and will definitely stay there again! This Motel is WAY underrated.

Three night stay here for 2 adults in May 2022. Spacious room with small table one chair, fridge, microwave, 2 Q beds for $145. Nice that it's one level where you drive up and car is right outside your door. The room wasn't fully updated. Bedspreads, carpet and door a little worn. Door would solidly close but it still locked. Very convenient to national park about 5 miles to park entrance. There is an outdoor pool but it was too cold and windy in the evenings to even consider using it. The only place to walk to is just next door onsite. We had about 3 meals there-lunch and dinner. It was always delish and staff was terrific. We would have eaten breakfast but they only have one chef at present so they're not open. Hiring decent chefs has been rough according to the owner. Long wait lines if you go for supper at the popular times but they seem to get people seated fairly quickly. You can tell the staff is happy and work as a team. The motel and restaurant owner is soft spoken and kind. She apparently bakes all the restaurant pies on site each day. Definitely would stay here again.

I've got no major complaints, everything went smoothly, and there were no outside noises to prevent me from sleeping. The room had quite the unpainted patch job, which I didn't really care about. But 3 of the lights in the room had light bulbs burnt out, so that was kinda inconvenient. Other than that I enjoyed my stay and everything went well. The attached restaurant is the absolute best, and the outdoor pool is very seasonal. I was there in May and it was closed.

Great motel (especially for the price) and even better people! The customer service at the motel and restaurant 👌 Conveniently located to the park and activities. We booked a trail ride (horseback) at the front desk. I thought it was really cool that they own so much property- not just a place to stay but you can get food and drinks at the restaurant, they have a pool, and the horses on the property were the cherry on top.The bathroom in our room was.. quirky, but totally fine!Would recommend this place to a friend. We'll be coming back next time we're in Bryce.

Not worth the price. We came in early just to see if we could drop off a trailer and then go on to the National Park and we were given the key to our room. Then in the evening we went to Dinner and when we came back water was all over the bathroom floor .. The toilet was leaking .we called no one answered so my husband went up to the office told them we wanted to switch rooms. They gave us a new room we had to move everything over and then I went back to ask if we could get it somecompensation for that and very rudely told me no. She said she gave me a new room and she would give me my money back if I wanted to leave right now. It was 7pm. would not recommend this hotel . The condition of the room was not very good the carpet was dirty took forever to get hot water the ceiling was peeling and the 1st room smelled very musty .

Motel: clean, comfortable bed, otherwise worn 50s vibe. Paint on chairs outside came off when when we wiped them, ironing board refused to stay up, etc.Restaurant: first attempt at fish and chips featured raw fish, which our server took back without hesitation. Second attempt came out better, but not superior to a run of the milll fast food joint. Small was over-cooked and very much needed the supplied mustard sauce to cover up the taste. Fries were good. Hamburger was dry and rather too well done.

This was by far one of my worst incounters with a hotel/motel/owner. I booked at the end of October 2021 with a deposit for the room and within 3 weeks of our stay at the end of July 2022, I recived and email with a huge price increase. Our stay had quadrupled, with no explination no call just a random email.I called the motel and a very rude lady told me that there is no way I had booked at the price i told her insinuating that I was lying. The owner was even less helpful as no one would return a call, or email and the phone would just ring.We were forced to down grade and paid more for a room just so we could keep our vacation as we had other activites paid for and confirmed around the motel. I had a confirmed reservation with a deposit and offered to meet the owner half way to keep our booking. Her response was very crude and insulting as she told me I was just trying to take advantage of her. At that of I continued she would cancel my reservation. This place was a gohst town the whole 8 days we were there, 90% of the guests were from our group. To top it off the room that we had originally booked was vacant the whole time we were there, and the rate the room was listed for was cheaper than what she tried to make me pay. This place would have grate potential if the owner made an effort in hospitality at all, however after dealing with her there is now way I would ever come back or recommend the place to anyone. We were staying with a large group and we're not trying to make it difficult for anyone else, so I have waited till after our stay.

We stayed here when we visited Bryce Canyon National Park. The park entrance was just about 20 minutes away. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and gave us good tips about the park. A steakhouse restaurant is right there, but we didn't get to eat there since they closed earlier around 8 pm on that night. The room was pretty clean, quiet and comfortable. We couldn't ask for any better.

Enjoyed our stay here. Room was clean. Newer pool area that was really nice for our kids. Rooms have mini fridge and microwave. Rooms are on the smaller side. Great water pressure in the shower. No breakfast but there is a restaurant right next door. Hotel is about 10 min front entrance to park on the main hwy. Stayed here because the price was much cheaper than Best Western. Stayed mid June.

Our stay here was nice. It's exactly what we expected. Outdated, but clean. AC worked great, used the mini fridge. Our family was camping across the street so it was a great location for us. Just a few minutes outside of bryce city. My only complaint really is for the weekend we stayed, it was basically the same price as the other hotels in town, so I feel it's overpriced for what it is.

We stopped in for dinner after a long day at Bryce National Park. We had to wait 30 minutes before being seated. The waiting room was like a bad doctor's office. Once seated, our server was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant seated us in a room to the side with 5 other tables. This room seemed like 1/5 of the restaurant. Local beer was good. They had a good wine list. Wife had roast beef and I had a burger. She liked hers, mine was ok. Overall good food, but other tables had poor service and the small room wasn't cozy. Lost stars for wait and atmosphere.

A good place to stay when visiting Bryce Canyon. I stayed in one of the cottages. The room was nice, except I found the proximity and height of the wall unit made my sleep a little disrupted. The wifi worked just fine in the detached unit. It took a few extra seconds for the water to warm up but it was never an issue. There is a separate heater for the bathroom.
