My partner and I had our first ever ski lesson here today and it was just magic. Paul spent a few hours with us and was an absolute legend, brought so much great guidance and fun to the whole experience. Everyone was super friendly and views just stunning. Would come back in a heartbeat!

We loved our two days at Brian Head!My two older kiddos enjoyed their beginner snowboarding lesson and I enjoyed mine as well. The quality of instruction is great and the instructors are very patient and knowledgeable! They have a very well run ski school and they ratios of kids to instructors is low. They are very organized and we felt very comfortable with the whole process. The kids enjoyed the built in cocoa break, and "report card" and pin that they received at the end.At the Navajo area there was a very nice outdoor patio with picnic tables that made for a great viewing spot with our little ones while the big kids snowboarded. For a first time snowboarding experience, this was great! We will definitely be back in the future!

My wife and I have absolutely loved Brian Head. The resort has been very nice. The hot tub is great. The room is very nice. We found a great spring special and it has been wonderful. We had pretty low expectations for the skiing because of the lateness of the season, but it has been spectacular. We got some fresh new snow and it feels like we have the whole mountain to ourselves. The food was really good and very high quality. We will definitely be back.

We went skiing at Brian Head for the first time during 2024 spring break. This is a fantastic resort for beginner to intermediate skiers. The runs are wide, the slope is gentle and the lines were always pretty short. However, if you’re looking for more advanced terrain this is probably not the best place for you. There are some runs labeled as black diamond, and a couple double black diamond but they were short and didn’t seem to be as challenging as other advanced runs I’ve been on.The snow was really nice. There weren’t very many icy spots at all.The lifts are a bit spread out, and, being new to the resort, it was a bit challenging to navigate from one side of the resort to the other. However, they do run a courtesy shuttle if you are unable to figure out how to get where you want to go on skis. Night skiing is only in Friday and Saturday nights and is very limited.Overall, it was a really good experience and everyone had fun.

Brian Head is a fun resort. We had a blast skiing here. There is terrain for everyone to ski on. We like that it feels less busy than other resorts. Can't wait to return next year!

So great to have a ski resort in Southern Utah. Beautiful surroundings and not too hard to get to. The ski runs are very short and the lifts are very slow so be prepared to spend most of your time on a chair. I forgot what it's like to have free parking! I wouldn't make a special trip down here from Salt Lake City but if you're in the area in the winter time, buy a ticket ahead of time because they have variable pricing which basically means you'll pay more the longer you wait. Guess that's what they have to do to stay in business!

Affordable lift tickets. Lots of powder. Amazing mountain. Friendly staff. Lots of parking. Less crowds. What else do you need to have and amazing time at the mountain? If you have ever wondered if it is worth a trip this is your sign that you should make it here.

Best place for kids! Signed three of my kids up for private lessons with Lydia. She was over the top amazing in every way. Great energy, happy and very patient. She got all three of my kids skiing confidently. Kelsey was super helpful in getting our kids signed up! The whole ski school staff (Daniel and others) were so kind and supportive. Thanks for making our first whole family ski trip such a success!

Had a lot of fun. Night boarding has a lot fewer people, so runs go by quicker! A little on the pricey side for me with 3 kids, but they love it. I bring up 2 loaves of bread and make sandwiches in the car to save some money. Easy drive up the mountain, and they plow and maintain it really well. I see small cars going up all the time without a problem.

We went to the night skiing and they only have one lift open. Intermediate. Don't go at night if you don't know what you're doing already because it's not a great place to learn. I took some of our kids that had never skied before and we barely made it down the mountain one time and ended up having to leave. They do sell helmets which is good because the snow is pretty hard packed. My oldest daughter had a blast. She was able to learn to ski and went down several times. She will be going again. Most of the night skiers were her age so we felt a little out of place as adults and with kids. The staff unfortunately fitted my younger daughter wrong for her boots and her feet went numb, we thought from the cold but when we got her boots off her toes were warm. That was pretty scary and she was in a lot of pain. She had asked the lady, "should I be able to wiggle my toes?" and the lady didn't answer her. Watch your kids close when they are fitted with boots for the first time and don't go at night. Unfortunately during the day the price triples. We still had fun laughing at each other and made some good memories.

We had a fun day of skiing, but I don't understand these exorbitant lift ticket prices. I paid $458 for three half day lift tickets. HALF DAY!!! That is just crazy. It made me upset for the first hour of my skiing. My friend told me to come to this mountain because the prices were reasonable and it was uncrowded, but he hasn't skied here in 5 years - before the corporate takeover and the raising of lift tickets to astronomical prices. The girl at the ticket counter apologized, saying it's due to Holiday pricing, but how cheesy is that? They don't even let you purchase half day tickets online or tell you what the price is until you get to the mountain. Sorry to say, the mountain isn't challenging enough for me as an expert, but fun for my kids. However, overall it is not worth the money. I won't be coming back.

Brian Head Resort provides a remarkable winter experience with stunning views of snowy mountains. The easy access to all slopes makes it convenient for all levels of skiers and snowboarders. The added bonus is the variety of great food options available at very affordable prices, enhancing the overall enjoyment of your visit. A fantastic destination for both the scenic beauty and the skiing experience.Food & drinks: Great options, must try the cheese fries.

The resort and mountain are great. Buy your ticket online before you go. I saw tickets were $75 online and figured I'd just get one there. I ended up playing over $200. They know you'll pay it after driving to the middle of nowhere. Avoid getting seriously price gouged and buy your ticket online.

This place has improved so much since last year. Rooms and shower very clean. Heat is good and fairly quiet. Bed was comfortable. Restaurant had good food and service. Lobby was clean and coffe/tea/water was stocked daily. Outdoor hot tub was nice, but I wish the snow was cleared off outdoor chairs. All employees were gracious and helpful.

Brian Head, nestled in the scenic landscapes of Utah, offers an enjoyable ski experience with its pristine slopes and family-friendly atmosphere. My recent visit with the kids was a delightful adventure, marked by the resort’s commendable facilities and the breathtaking beauty of the snow-covered peaks. However, visitors should be mindful of Brian Head’s elevation, which stands at a lofty 10,000 feet. The high altitude, while contributing to the area’s stunning vistas and excellent snow conditions, did catch my family off-guard with mild symptoms of altitude sickness, including slight headaches upon arrival. It’s a gentle reminder to perhaps acclimate or prepare for the elevation before fully diving into the winter sports. The resort itself is quite popular, and while the lively atmosphere is a testament to Brian Head’s appeal, it does lead to crowded slopes and facilities, especially during peak times. This bustling environment adds to the vibrant energy of the place but can be a bit overwhelming for those seeking a more serene ski experience. On the dining front, Brian Head presents a rather limited culinary scene. With just a small pizza joint and a modest Mexican eatery to choose from, the options were somewhat restrictive given the number of visitors. For a resort that attracts a diverse and considerable crowd, the addition of more varied dining establishments would greatly enhance the overall guest experience, offering the comfort and convenience of enjoying a good meal after a day on the slopes. In conclusion, Brian Head is undoubtedly a cool destination for ski enthusiasts and families looking to enjoy the winter season. The resort offers splendid ski opportunities set against the backdrop of Utah’s magnificent landscapes. However, the high altitude and limited dining options are aspects that future visitors should consider when planning their trip. With a few adjustments and preparations, Brian Head can be a fantastic getaway for those looking to carve the slopes and enjoy the mountain air.

Is a fun resort.Went early in 2023 season (4th day).It was cold, fresh snow about 6”.Beautiful place. Not too busy, though only two lifts were open. Looked like you had to drive between the lifts. The staff were so helpful. My daughters were going for first time, couldn’t believe how helpful everybody was. Great experience.Used the rental place - super fast and efficient. In and out in a few minutes. Good equipment. Will be back.

The bunny hill is more exciting then other resorts. The lines can get long but my 5 year old could have spent all day on the slopes. The instructors are the nicest people. They talk with everyone and make you feel good about life.Giant steps is fast and has lots of fun runs for those of you that prefer blues and blacks, its even super fun to finish those runs with hitting the park. They have a great setup so you can look and feel cool eventhough the ramps do all the work for you.The food options are good. My advice is get some spicy wings and be back at the slopes in a matter of minutes.

First I must point out, I hate snow! That said Utah snow is beautiful, fluffy and soft. We take the kids snow boarding every year and this is the first outside California. Much less crowded. The local venders and residents were so friendly and welcoming. This won't be our last visit.

We came here for skiing on January 1st and we were pleasantly surprised with very fast service and minimal waiting time! There was variety of slopes to choose from!During break we went to the 3d floor for lunch and all the food was fresh ( salmon burger and chicken wings). Additionally, we ordered draft beer which was cold and fresh as well!

Spent Christmas in Vegas and decided to take a day trip to ski! Perfect distance to go and come back from Vegas and a pretty smooth trip past a beautiful city, St. George. The slopes were nice with several different options to choose. Did stay on one side the whole day but next time will try out the other ones which were only like 5 mi apart with a shuttle bus they operate to get you back and forth. Parking was easy! Only wish was that during the busiest times you have operates at lift making sure the seats get filled to capacity…. Saw a 3 person lift take one person too many times to be waiting as long as I did. Make it like six flags were you call out how many is needed. Was a great trip all around!

Not crowded at all from December to January. Good base and snow. Small town, not a lot to do other than ski. You can buy sleds from Gary's. They have night sking from 4pm to 9pk for $30 on the weekends.
