Did the day trip from Sand Island to River House and it was amazing. The San Juan is beautiful, our group was small, and the kayaks comfortable. Elle and Raquel were the best!! Elle was a great guide to have on the river, very friendly with great stories of the area, and made our trip enjoyable. Racquel was just as awesome and gave us lots of info about River House, the region, and handled the hummer like a pro on the dirt roads. I highly recommend booking a trip with Wild Expeditions!

My wife and I took a Arch Canyon all day tour with Wild Expeditions and ended up with a private tour, just my wife, the guide and I. Our guide, Wes was excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable of the local history, geography, and geology applicable to the tour up through the canyon. Before we left we were able to discuss our interests and he was able to customize some of our tour time to see more of what we wanted most to see. Overall this was an amazing tour and excellent experience during our time in southeast Utah in October 2023.

My husband and I did the San Juan River & Hummer Cliff Dwelling Expedition tour. It was a very easy and relaxing day on the river. The river moves gently but swift. You can float most of the 6.5 miles so it makes for an easy day on the river. We stopped to see a very large rock panel of rock art. It was spectacular to see so much on one wall. After that we stopped for lunch on the river and then headed onto the hummer. We had the military hummer and it was a lot of fun! We stopped to see a 1,000 year old cliff dwelling. I never get tired of seeing them so I really enjoyed that. It was really nice to beat the heat that summer brings and having a relaxing day. I also really liked that we had our own kayaks and not on a large float with other people. It's also really nice to not be surrounded by hundreds of tourist in Moab and on the Colorado River. This felt more private and secluded. All in all a great summer activity that anyone can enjoy.

If you are staying at Bluff Resort (or anywhere near!) the expeditions offered by Wild Adventures are an incredible way to experience the local landscape and enjoy an amazing time! We selected the sunset tour of The Valley of the Gods with our guide Eli and we loved it so much! Eli picked us up directly at the hotel and and we hopped in the vehicle thoughtfully packed with additional bottles of water, snacks and deckchairs and blankets for the top of the mountain where we would watch the sun set :-). We drove out via Comb Ridge with Eli sharing really interesting stories about the history and culture of the region. We arrived in the middle of the Valley of the God’s, marvelling at what looked like a lost city with rock structures that resembled the Parthenon, a castle, a cathedral. After a couple of photo stops we started to climb the Moki Dugway reaching the summit in plenty of time to take in the stunning views from the top out to The Valley of the Gods, Goosenecks State Park, Monument Valley on the horizon and Navajo Mountain. The sunset was so beautiful. We appreciated Eli‘s knowledge and kind personable approach so much. He is a very talented guide. Don’t miss it if you are in the area!

Wild Expeditions was a fantastic choice on my guided day trip. I am a frequent visitor to Cedar Mesa and was looking for a guide to show me some new archaeological sites. BOY DID THEY DELIVER!! The company is run by a local family with intimate knowledge of the surrounding canyons. Massive thank you to Dallin, HIGHLY RECCOMENDED option for your Cedar Mesa and San Juan rafting choice.

Had a great raft float on the San Juan River with Raquel...we were on a girl's trip to the Bear's Ears area and decided on a raft rather then kayaks. We were so glad we did as we had narration and discussion with Raquel throughout the entire trip. She had such great insight into the history and culture of the area due to her Native American background. She discussed the Kachina Petroglyph Panel in detail and allowed plenty of time to appreciate the expansive rock art and take photos. We proceeded to our second stop near River House Ruin, where we were met by Elle. She had lunch and chairs waiting and we ate along the river. The sunny blue skies suddenly looked ominous and we had to cut our time short at River House due to threat of flooding in the washes that we needed to cross to exit the area. Elle took control and drove that Hummer like a pro, for a bumpy, fun ride through red rock and sand! We did not encounter any problems getting back to civilization, and so with the extra time they took us to see more petroglyphs on Sand Island.Overall the excursion was fun, varied, and professional. Thanks Raquel & Elle!!

Fantastic trip!!! My wife and I rafted the lower San Juan (4 days, mid-June) and the dramatic scenery did not disappoint. Every bend in the river was a delight as were our outstanding guides, Marley and Ian. Trip was well organized and equipped and the other participants felt like family by the end. Days felt long in the good way an adventure should...totally unplugged, just watching the river, wildlife, and shadows drift by until starlight took over. Looking forward to booking again!

Really had an excellent time hiking the Citadel with trail guide Lane today.I appreciated his expert knowledge of desert plants, rock formation/content, history of the area. It is truly a beautiful part of this country!Highly recommend this hike, guide, and this company. I wish we had booked extra time in our trip here, I’d have loved to enjoy their beautiful resort. We will be back!!!

We booked a river raft, ruins, hummer tour, and had an absolute blast! The staff were professional, friendly and helpful. The river float was fun, flat and easy (we spent a good deal of time out of the kayaks floating). We were provided historical, cultural, and wildlife knowledge along the way and at each of the two stops to see petroglyphs and ruins. Lunch and then a ride in the hummer back to the HQ. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed the ride and loved all the information our tour guide added to the spectacular ruins. I would highly recommend taking advantage of the opportunity to explore the area with this tour.

We took four of their tours during our stay at Bluff Dwellings. The Bears Ears Scenic Tour, Valley of the Gods Sunset Tour, Kayak and Hummer Expedition, and the Arch Canyon 4x4 Tour. They were fantastic. And the Sunset Tour and Arch Canyon 4x4 Tour were an over the top experience. The guides were informative and helpful. We would highly recommend if you are in the Bluff Utah area.Services: Private tours, Group tours

Many years ago we did the 1-day upper San Juan rafting trip through Wild Expeditions and wanted to do the lower canyon someday. We finally did the 4-day, and WOW! It was a life changing experience. Time seemed to slow down on the river, immersed in the ancient landscape. We became instant friends with the other rafters. Guides #Team Marley and #Team Ian bent over backwards to insure everyone "thrived"! Thanks also Nate, the shuttle drivers and the entire Wild Expeditions team for helping with preparations. Would highly recommend this trip and outfitters to anyone considering it -- just do it!

My sons and I had a great private hiking tour of Bears Ears, Monarch and Wolfman, including the history of ancestral Puebloan cliff dwellings, Comb ridge and local plant and animal life. It was a beautiful day for hiking and our guide was friendly, very knowledgeable and engaging! Exactly what I was looking for in a trip with my teenagers.

My husband and I did the Arch Canyon UTV Excursion and it exceeded expectations. Our guide Benny (and his ride along Angie) were the perfect hosts that met us in the hotel lobby and off we went to Bears Ears (we were the only two on the tour, yay!) B. explained the terrain we'd go through, pointed out several ruins, offered to stop whenever we wanted, and was a most excellent driver. We did a short hike to a ruin where B. spoke of some of the plants that were historically used in his culture (Navajo / Dine) and the trip culminated in a picnic lunch that the company provided close to the the Arch. I did ask when my husband would be allowed to drive (their website states that everyone will be given a chance to drive and, indeed, their pictures indicate it as well) but Benny said they used to allow it but too many rollovers occurred so they quit offering it. In fact, hubby decided he didn't want to drive as the terrain was rather technical (soft sand, streams, rocks, boulders) and Benny made the trip pretty thrilling. Lots of laughs, lots of fun, and great scenery and company. Would we do it again? Hell yeah!

We went Canyoneering in Blarney Canyon with this company. Super knowledgeable and helpful guides. Made us feel safe but the terrain still pushed my limits. Gracious and kind guides. Made me feel alive to be there. Some tours from Moab go to that canyon but starting with these guys in Bluff is actually closer so you get to the canyon first, and we got to stay at the Bluff Dwellings Resort near the meeting point, which was awesome. Great company and much less crowded town than Moab.

We were able to come back again this year and did canyoneering and floated the San Juan River on Kayaks. Canyoneering was amazing Jared (guide) was very patient to help kids and people that had never repelled before. We felt very safe and had an amazing time exploring the unique terrain. Guides were very knowledgeable and fun with both activities! The river float went smoothly, would highly recommend both activities with Wild Expeditions! We will be back. This is our third time here, it is wonderful!

We had a blast on the kayaking/hummer trip.It was so beautiful and relaxing floating the San Juan. The views were incredible and our tour guide Elle was awesome. Great experience, did the all day ATV trip to bears ears and arch canyon. Group was small , 1 ATV 4 people plus the guide. Scenic views and stops at ruins. We drove through the creek several times, got stuck once and a little dirty , but that was the best part . Lunch was sandwich wraps, fruit, vegetables, chips and homemade cookies, very filling. Highly recommended.

Tour was great. Knowledgeable tour guides answered all our questions and our kids loved the razor and Hummer ride. We are grateful to have had an opportunity to visit some beautiful and special sites of Human History.

Had an amazing experience with Wild expeditions. Recently did the 3 day rafting trip on the San Juan for a bachelorette party with Nate, Matey, and Raquel. First the landscape is amazing and it was an amazing trip. but most importantly, the guides were incredible, they were so knowledgeable about the area, extremely accommodating, and made the trip the best. They were so good at managing the group and cooked some AMAZING meals. I would suggest this (and them) to anyone!

Took care of my shuttle on a recent San Juan trip where my vehicle had a major mechanical issue before the shuttle was to happen. They worked with the repair shop and picked my vehicle up from there instead of the put in at Sand Island. Super accommodating and really easy to work with when things went a bit weird. Will definitely use them for future shuttles.

Think twice before you book with this outfitter. My wife and I spent nearly $400 for a half day hike to House on Fire and our guide knew next to nothing about the rich history of the Anasazi or the geography. He admitted he leads river trips for the company but somehow we drew him for a guided hike. We look forward to returning to this beautiful area but won’t be using Wild Expeditions.

Just what we were looking for - a mostly do it yourself for 2 couples with 2 tandem kayaks and put in and take out assistance. Set us up with everything we needed and useful navigation device. After checking before the trip that our cell phones worked OK at the take out area, we texted at a described location before take out for pick up which then arrived less than 10 minutes after landing. The 7.5 miles of paddling took less than 2.5 hours at a leisurely pace and enjoyed by all.

My boyfriend and I recently went on a 4 day rafting trip down the lower San Juan - it was one of our favorite vacations ever! Not only were our guides Zach and Marley knowledgeable and fun to be around, but they made our trip down the river super relaxing. From spotting wildlife to showing us great swimming spots to cooking delicious dinners, Marley and Zach made sure that the experience was as wonderful as the surroundings. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I did tandem kayaking. The guides were all friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Not only was the kayaking itself a lot of fun, the short hikes, lunch, and dune buggy ride were all really enjoyable. We highly recommend this company and this experience, and look forward to bring friends with us to do it again!

This tour company canceled a trip 2 days before due to rain. It had not rained here enough to make this possible. Nate called and gave a line that does not apply. We came to this area to do a water tour and they only offered a razor tour as an option. We are personally in a jeep touring the area and are able to access the area. I would not recommend booking with this company.

Our family did the River House UTV Excursion and we really enjoyed it. Our Guide, Elle was awesome, very knowledgeable and informative. She was great with our 10 year old son and I was very appreciative how she watched over us to keep us safe.

We used Wild Expeditions as a shuttle service for our float last week. They were professional and very easy to go through. Everyone we had contact with, including one of their guides that we came across on the river, were very friendly and knowledgeable. We will for sure book through them on future trips!
