The room is complete, clean with a good bed and the breakfast is good enough to start the day. The breakfast room only offers space for 4 to 6 people. Unfortunately, our room was not cleaned on the second day, no clean towels, no more toilet paper, etc. Unfortunately, this could no longer be corrected because after 7 o'clock in the evening none of the staff is present. The notice on the doors that you can email the owners directly is of no use, because several emails are not answered, even after 2 days. The rooms are quite noisy and this combined with the fact that the cars are parked less than 8 feet from the front doors, the chance of waking up early is almost guaranteed. The next day the reception turned out to be unmanned and we left after waiting 10 minutes. In summary, not worth repeating and I was especially surprised by the fact that as a guest you are left to your own devices if something is not right.

This was a great late night impulse find in the remote town of Blading. This not a huge hotel but just a few rooms. The check in was a zoom with one phone call to the manager/owner. She was very welcoming and friendly in her communication and I had access to my room in less than 2 mins. Parking is plenty and there is a convenience store right next to the hotel. Clean rooms, spring bed and very soft pillows. Definitely recommended for a quick stay.

Incredibly cute little motel, freshly renovated, easy check-in process, and conveniently located in the heart of Blanding. I stayed here for the weekend while two of my good friends were getting married in town, and would definitely come back the next time I’m in the area to see any of the sights of the four corners region. Don’t miss a great stay here!Rooms: The rooms were simple but clean and newly renovated. It was the perfect crash pad for a weekend in the four corners area.Nearby activities: The motel is located only a five minute drive from the Edge of the Cedars museum, the dinosaur museum, and the Nations of the Four Corners park.Walkability: The motel is right on Main Street, only a block south of the main intersection. There is a coffee shop right across the street, as well as grab-and-go breakfast and coffee in the motel front office!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. The exterior of the facility is not representative of the niceness of the rooms, I was very impressed with the finish of the rooms and the modern feel, definitely a much nicer vibe than a chain hotel. The breakfast offerings were reasonably robust as well, with good coffee. This spot is probably one of the highlights of Blanding, Utah.

We booked one night on the Blue Sage Website for September 25th 2023 but never received a confirmation. We checked the spam to make sure we don't miss it and asked again via eMail. No answer. So we booked another motel for that day. A day before the booking date we received a text with check-in instructions. We called immediately that we won't stay there and were told the booking is cancelled. However they charged us for the night. We tried to call, wrote eMails, used the contact form on the website - no reaction. Very bad customer service to say the least, probably a deliberate attempt to embezzle the money. No recommedation at all !

This was a wonderful place to stay on our way through Utah. The rooms were exceptionally clean and super cute. The staff were all pleasant and kind. Their decor was a vibe with little details noticeable throughout the property. The breakfast was very well stocked and delicious. Check in and out were easy and straightforward. Just a short walk to the local theatre and restaurant and bowling. We'll definitely stay here again!Rooms: The rooms were very clean, beds were very comfortable and the furnishings felt upscale.Nearby activities: Dinosaur museum is on our to do list!Walkability: Walked to A&W restaurant which was inside a little center that included a convenience store and small bowling alley. Passed a cute ice cream shop and local movie theater on the way. Burrito place right next door.Noteworthy details: Cute retro vibe with very nice furnishings in the room.

Cute, simple and most importantly, extremely clean room. Breakfast options were minimal but enough even on a morning when most of the town was closed. And for those who care, dog friendly.

Wonderful stay at the Blue Sage Inn and highly recommend if you're in the area. The room was clean...super comfortable bed, wifi and YouTube TV. Perfectly appointed and comfortable in a classic mid-century building. Breakfast is included with your stay and featured some mighty fine homemade bread. I won't soon forget that lemon loaf (though they have rotating choices.) Again, excellent stay and hope you'll give them a try when in the area!

I was really expecting this place to be sort of “run down”, but it impressed me greatly. The #1 thins is CLEAN! The bed sheets and towels were WHITE not yellow or “sort of white”. The bathroom was spacious. The room although small with 2 queens, had everything you needed for a one night stay. The TV even had Netflix and Hulu and Cable! The place is located in the middle of the small town. There is not much to do but the place is easy to locate and get to. The front desk girl was very nice. Easy and breezy at check in. They offer complementary snacks/food. They also have a nice little out door seating area that lights up at night so you can chit chat in the night time. I was very skeptical at first but honestly great little place. Would stay here again!

Absolutely a gem. If you're planning to stay in Blanding while you explore the area, this is a great place. It's modern and updated inside, having just gone through a major renovation. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the bathroom is beautifully done, the towels and linens are high quality, and you can tell a lot of thought was put into the decor. The whole room was inviting and relaxing. The owners are lovely. So glad they were able to preserve the history of The Blue Sage Inn & Suites for generations to come! Will definitely stay here again.

High value, excellent service. Room and bathroom were super clean. The minor downside is the fact we travel as a family of 4 and prefer queen size beds to doubles.Breakfast options were appropriate for the price, but there was plenty for all different preferences.

We loved the thoughtful owners, trying to please the guests and make their stay as much comfortable as possible. The rooms we rented were renowated recently, everything made with great taste and comfort in mind. One of our rooms had old air conditioner, that was loudly turning on and off, so couldn't sleep very well. But everything else was nicely done, including seating options outside the room. In evening we enjoyed sitting in a gazebo area, in the morning, we ate breakfast in the grill area under umbrella. The breakfast options were quite nice, with great smelling coffee, but we got some supper and breakfast in the restaurant next door, where we got discount for staying at the Blue Sage.

Beautiful experience. I love the room, beds very comfortable and super clean ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Management was honest when they noticed a discrepancy in my bill, they credited me right away, thank you!And again, thank you for making our stay so pleasant. We were sad we had to come back to NY, but my family and I will definitely come here again. You are close to beautiful places in the desert/mountains we’re still need to visit. If you’re reading this and are looking for a place to stay, stop and book a room now.

Lovely and clean. A lot of care has gone into this little restored motel and we loved staying here and avoiding the mayhem of Moab and other tourist traps. Great aesthetic, efficient rooms and homemade banana bread for breakfast? Yes, please! If you want espresso, visit the coffee shop across the street. So much better than staying at some mega hotel. (UPDATED REVIEW: We came back a year later on our road trip through town and it's still as lovely as before! Brought the dog this time and appreciated the pet friendly room) -- overall still a SOLID five stars. Love this place!

This has to be the nicest room I have EVER stayed in! Full on easy chair, gorgeously tiled bathroom, huge TV, plenty of room to set up our granddaughter’s cot, best banana bread I’ve had other than my own. Check in was easy and friendly. It isn’t a big motel, but worth staying at!! One thing though, the bed is memory foam and doesn’t agree with a big girl like me.

If I could rate it a zero I would. I made reservations well in advance of my trip for a pet friendly room which accommodated 5 people. 3 days into my trip, we were downgraded to a 2 bed room which was pet friendly. Fine and good. 4,000miles into our trip, we arrived to find they cancelled our reservation completely and were sold out. Arches Inn to the rescue!
