Our stay was in 2021. The amenities they advertise no longer exist. The hot tub has been gone for years. Rafting isn't available because the creek dried up. The tennis court looked like it had been unused for 20 years - the net was gone, asphalt was cracked and there was some art project. The basketball court was very run down and had a tree growing in it. There is nowhere to comfortably sit down in the whole complex - all of the chairs are uncomfortable. The window A/C units couldn't keep up (see photo). I would never go back.Nearby activities: There are no restaurants within an hour of the ranch, so you must eat whatever they serve you.

We brought our horse obsessed 8 year old for a special birthday trip, and Rockin' R Ranch did NOT disappoint. The staff was top notch and made her feel super special the whole time. We didn't want to leave! We loved all the scheduled activities, and there was plenty to do during our free time as well. The beds were comfy, and the food was delicious! We loved having everything taken care of, so all we had to do was show up! Great idea for family reunions, vacations, or even youth groups. Definitely something for everyone. Highly recommend!

Not the most luxurious rooms, but what do you expect from a ranch? There is so much to do here and they plan the activities out for you so well, there's never a dull moment (unless you want that, then they're totally accommodating of that too). The food is fantastic and always plentiful and the staff is super nice, helpful, and accommodating. Would definitely recommend for groups of all sizes and ages. They also do a great job with younger kids, though I think for convenience's sake, shoot for ages 5 and older.

My family had a reunion this summer at Rockin R Ranch, and man, there can't be a better place to spend time with your family! The staff is top notch! We loved tubing with Tony and Charlotte, playing games with Michelle, Maya, Connor and Sarah (thanks for helping the better team win!) and the rodeo with Kirsti and Nathan. The meals were always top notch and we never went hungry. The rooms were all clean and the beds were comfortable! Thanks for creating an environment where people can forget their cares and have a good time with great people!

We went here for a family reunion and everyone loved it. Great activities for kids and adults. The staff is awesome. The food is great. There is very limited service out there which ended up being one of the best parts of the trip. Nobody was in their phones during activities. There is wifi but it's a great way to connect with your group. We will definitely be going again.

Absolutely a trip to remember! I took a group of 20 youth and we were not disappointed. The activities were fantastic, the staff was amazing and exceeded any expectation! They were kind, generous, funny and personable! Many of them even tried remembering all of our names! Our meals and schedule were planned out for us which resulted in very little stress! Many of the youth went home with plans to return! I would return in a heartbeat. Beautiful scenic location, lots of fun, and a perfect place for an escape from life!

Incredible staff and great time! My daughter and I stayed for 5 days and we couldn't be happier. The staff was amazing, every single one of them. What we liked the best was the fact that you could be as busy as you wanted or as quiet as you wanted. The food was home cooked and plentiful, don't plan on losing weight if you go. I travel extensively for work and I have to say that I was never treated better than at the Rockin! The rides were awesome, do the Cowboy Rock ride and for a hike don't miss the Butch Cassidy or Overlook. Give the Rockin' a try, I guarantee you won't be disappointed. See you next year for the late August cattle drive.

We have been here three times and have always come away happy we made the trip. Great staff, very family friendly, lots to do (horse riding, hiking, rappelling, archery, tubing, camp fires, dancing, and more), good food and plenty of it. Beds are comfortable in all the rooms, but the rooms vary significantly depending on what you want. If you want to party with your fraternity in the "Miami spring break" style, stay away, but if you want to have an active, fun time (or just laze around in the beautiful country setting), get to this place, you will not be happy you did. Great job Rockin' R.

if you're looking for a lot of rooms and space for a large gathering and can keep yourselves entertained in a remote location, then this place may be for you.the kitchen is huge and has plenty of cooking equipment for a large group (100-200 people). You can tube sections of the Sevier River in Kingston Canyon about 15 mins away with your own gear. Bryce is about 50 minutes away. There's a reservoir about 7 minutes away.the rooms, lodge and property are clean and provide the basics. you're pretty much on your own.be sure to keep your car doors locked to help the family that owns the property.

The rockin r ranch was fantastic. We went for a family reunion worth 130 people and there was so much to do and it was so well coordinated that everyone was able to participate in any events they wanted. The food was pretty good and served on time. The rooms were nice with a shower in each one and the beds are comfy. Their staff was always friendly and helpful and their head wrangler was awesome. What a great time!

Location is out of the way. A good destination spot. There are so many fun things to do for families, you don't ever need to leave. This has more of a summer camp feel than a hotel feel. We came for a family reunion and were asked to bring our own towels. A bath mat was provided in our room but no washcloths or hand towels. The activities and cafeteria style meals were charming. The children were in heaven riding horses, playing on the slide and swings, at the petting farm, doing archery and running around the ranch. The adults enjoyed all the activities as well, especially the inner tube water rafting on the river and trail rides on the horses. The guides were friendly and helpful and worked hard making sure everyone had activities to keep busy, from water balloon volleyball to children's crafts.

Just had our Stake Youth Conference there. Our youth and leaders had an awesome time and enjoyed themselves so much, some of our leaders were wanting to bring their families back. The staff were all so wonderful and great with the youth. I highly recommend this place.

Absolutely my favorite place to get away from it all and renew relationships with family. The staff is very kind and helpful. The location is beautiful and the weather is amazing. Our family returns every year and my kids want to move to Utah because they probably believe that living in Utah would mean living at the Ranch every day. Some of our favorite activities include horseback riding, tubing the river, petting the farm animals, and riding ATVs. Highly recommend, especially if you'd like the family to unplug for a period (no cell service in Antimony! - it's great).

We have just returned to the U.K. from a trip to the rocking r ranch, I have always wanted to stay on a ranch and this lived up to everything I had hoped it would be. The family who run it are lovely lovely people and make you feel so at home (the whole team felt like a little family) which made it even more special. We did several trail rides and lots of other activities and we were only there the weekend but they made sure we got the most out of our stay. Madison in particular was amazing and my 9 year old daughter actually cried leaving because she missed her already. However all the staff were amazing but too many names to list. The line dancing in the evening was brilliant and again the band that came in couldn’t have been more lovely, (especially the lady , didn’t get her name but we just clicked and she made our evening so much fun) was sad we had to leave and hope to return again one day soon

Great place for our large family reunion. Everything taken care of by the staff, with a perfect balance of planning and freedom to do what we want. This is as close to a real ranch experience as most city dwellers can handle, but with a staff that apparently really cares about its guests, we had confidence to go beyond our limits, and with good effect.

Fun place. Horse riding. Inner-tubing. Kid activities. Archery. Floating canoes on a pond. Great food. We've had fun at our family reunion. If you are coming with small kids, you may want to bring your own kid dinner food, they serve dinner at 7 p.m., which is after our kid's bedtime. The suite has a refrigerator and microwave in the room. The other room do not. Just so you know.

We had a great time here at a family reunion with 100+ people. The employees are accommodating and friendly. The lawn and grounds are well kept. They treat their animals well and have a wide variety. With activities like archery, horseback riding, inner-tubing to list a few, there is always something to do.My only real complaint was that the wifi was terrible, but if you're coming all the way out here for the internet speeds, you've got other problems.

Our family of 72 people ages 7 mo to 80; all had a great time. The kids loved to be able to ride the horses and to learn how to shoot a bow. I would highly recommend this to every family!!

Clean and comfortable! Family friendly fun. Excellent food and lots of ranch/farm activities. Hay ride, animal petting, country dancing, river tubing, as well as just relaxing in the log lodge. Boating and fishing near by, if that is your thing. Country living at it's best.

I loved it here we had so much fun as a youth group. But we all were so worn out. And tired cause they kept us going non stop. But I love the horse spit fire she was so cute ❤❤And also the donkeys were fun riding during our lil rodeoI recommend bringing your family and groups of friends causes it's a fun time.

My Boyfriend's family owns this and they are the nicest people! The owner is Creston Black. They are so nice and family friendly! TONS of land, horses, cattle and activities! They even have the Sundays off for families. We went up and saw Cowboy Rock and it was amazing! Must place to go! Huge lodge, gift shop, corrals, arena, pastures,etc.! So much fun! Over 500 Cows and over 100 Horses. They also have Pigs, Donkeys, Goats, Bull and even a BISON!!!! Love It!!!! You have to go!

Our family just returned to Fort Worth, Texas from our 4 day Rockin\' R Ranch vacation, and we cannot stop telling everyone around us about all of the adventures we had! Rockin R Ranch is an oasis in the middle of nowhere Utah. Full of fun activities, great food, and excellent hospitality, it is a great retreat for families, youth groups, or friends. It's in such a pretty part of the state that not many ever travel to. It's about an hour north of Bryce Canyon which makes a great day trip.
