Beautiful reservoir just needs more shade trees and less trees ten feet from shore in the water all I can say is Otter Creek gained a few more lures and I enjoyed the lake and even with the bugsRestrooms: Clean and not so smelly

This place had some great fishing. We caught some beautiful rainbow trout. The shoreline have poky weeds so bring shoes. The dock gets consistent not busy. Lake was easy to kayak for the kids.

Actually we were at Otter creek RV park and Marina, State Park is next to it. We love this place! We get treated great every time. And the fishing. .... awesome ! And we will be back again month. Since my first post, we have been back many times. If you go there , be sure and say "hello" to Heidi the owner, and Jan, another super nice lady that works there. Boat rentals are available, but you can fish from the shore too.

Otter Creek is not going to win any beauty contests, but the water is a nice color, the fishing was good, and the facilities were pretty good for being relatively remote. Also, there was plemtg of space, not too crowded, which is a big deal for a Saturday (though it was April). it was good weather too.

Great little State campground, well kept..clean. nice showers & restrooms. Level spots, 30 & 50 amp service, water and a dump station. Did not fish but with the number of people fishing, must be good.

Woooow what an amazing coincident it was that i had some hours to spend there!!My friend recognised the she left her purse in bryce canyon, so she turned around in otter creek and i stayed there :-)Its suuuuper chill, amzing lake to swim and great for wateractivities!! I guess there are a lot locals who enjoy that is so calm, so the vibes are very authentic and lovely. Definitely worth to take a break there.PS. try out the cafe restaurant!!!

Beautiful scenery and set off point.Not full hook ups. Dump station on site.The water was teaming with rainbow trout🐟 caught by many.The water had an algae bloom while we were there which was sad. The area really is beautiful and very close to Bryce and Capitol Reef NPs.

Beautiful reservoir with fishing, swimming, camping, all available. There is a mercantile with basic supplies and a cafe for breakfast and dinner at the RV park which also has cabin rentals.The state park has RV and tent sites available as well.RV or tent spots are available first come all along the reservoir off the dirt roads leading in from main road.Restrooms: Public pit toiletsPicnic area: There are several picnic areas near the day-use areas.

The fishing is hit or miss depending on time of year, weather and other factors (just like any other lake). More often than not the fishing is good though. There's a general store with a restaurant that rents small boats and pontunes (sp?). It's usually a pretty quiet lake, not a lot of speed boats and water toys which is nice. I've camped here once and it was one of my least favorite campsites of all time. Very few trees and close to a main highway. I recommend camping at Tropic Reservoir and making the ~1hr drive here.

We have been staying at Ottercreek for 18 years. Never missed a year. We have seen all the bugs and the water levels up and down. No mater what it is an amazing place to stay. The camp hosts are super sweet and remember us every year. The fishing is amazing! We catch big fish every year!This is a 7 star camp ground!Playground: They have the cleanest showers for a public park.Restrooms: Very clean. Scrubbed everyday!Dog-friendliness: They have a special place for dogs with a fire hydrant 🤣Picnic area: Shady and breezy. Perfect to throw out a blanket and have a picnic or sit at the table for day use.

Not happy about the price per night. It's supposed to have showers and electricity and water hookups but not all campsites have those hookups and yet are still charge the same amount. The fishing wasn't that good there was a lot of moss and seaweed the fish cleaning stations we're out of order for that price I would recommend going to a bigger lake with better campgrounds for the same price.

State Park was great with staff that was readily available. There is also free dry camping available outside of the state park.

Very clean! We stayed in the tent camping area right by the restrooms and the boat launch. Everyone from the lady in the shop to the people cleaning and monitoring the area was very nice and accommodating.Restrooms: Very clean! Also have showers available.Dog-friendliness: I don't own a dog. However, our friends and many other camper did have dogs. I didn't notice anything except a grass area and the fact that they allowed pets.

Beautiful place, except the wind blows like crazy crazy every afternoon. We were there for 6 days and have come the past 2 years and every single day bad winds. Last year it ripped our tent. Also we read the water had no algie this year and when we went u couldn't get in the water due to the algie bloom, past 2 years in a row. Great fishing but if u want to swim or jet ski or anything like that u can't due to the algie. Even tho the website said it was clear.

Beautiful setting for this state park. During twilight hours, this feels like a setting from Switzerland.There's a short trail that leads to a lookout point for stunning views & solitude.Mornings can get busy with boat launches & ATVs.

I've been here a few years now and I always love it. The lake is great for watersports and boating. As well as the stars up here being absolutely stunning. If you get away from enough lights on the campground itself you can even see the band of the milky way! I absolutely adore how peaceful it is and I hope to be able to come back in the future.

We visited during the off-season and it was a quiet place with beautiful scenery. We were a little over an hour away from Bryce Canyon National Park.Shower facilities were being fixed up, so that left a little to be desired, but all in all a nice place to stay!

Beautiful reservoir, fishing is still good at the front of the lake. Rangers know everything so give em a call. They have 2 cabins to rent, no running water inside and room for rv's. It is a beautiful drive getting there, too
