Last Friday I was at the store to pick up a few items I needed. When I attempted to pay for them with my debit card it was declined several times. I didn't know what was wrong I knew that I had money on my card. I would like to thank the cashier and the manager for not giving up on this after a couple times of being declined. These two ladies tried everything they could to help me find the problem. I later found out I had somehow put a lock on my card. I still don't know how I did that however I now know how to unlock it. In my opinion they are an example of what makes a great employee. Thank you ladies for your help, patience and kindness you showed me.

The workers are nice and friendly, but my husband and I are both in our 70’s. And the employees tonight were not wearing mask and some customers weren’t wearing masks either. When we saw that we just left the store. There just not taking this coronavirus seriously. We will not go back to this store until they obey the laws.

Love my Dollar General, but they didn't have an item I needed even though their website (specified by store location per website) stated it was there. So lost a star because of that. But they have great service and the location can't be beat!

Like other places they have some shortage of items. I will say that the staff working here are, in my experience, friendly, very helpful and extremely patient which is certainly a plus occasionally with myself. A huge thanks for that.

Clean organized store with friendly staff. Most pricing is fair and some good sales. Wanted to use the Western Union Sevice once. The clerk was new and had not been trained and was not able to access WU.

I love Dollar General! Especially the pines in Tyler and Jasper counties! New stores, Remodels, easy to find the items I need! Great staff friendly and knowledgeable!

It is Clean and Uncluttered. With A Friendly Atmosphere. You feel welcomed to be there. That in itself will make you want to shop there again.

The manager at Zavalla is so awesome and the workers. I'm partially disabled and they go out of their way helping me find things help me with bags and on bad days for me will help me get my purchases to my truck.

Avoid this town if you can! The town’s crooked police hide in these parking lots radaring the highway, and the speed limit signs are not all visible.

This zavalla location is always clean and organized. The staff is friendly and helpful. I reside in Huntington and I go to zavalla just to shop at this location. Thanks to the staff for excellent service.

The Dollar General store in Zavalla Tx. Keeps the temperature in the store too Hot , it's suffocating ! I can't stay in there very long cause of the heat , the cooperate store needs to change this !

It's good for quick and cheap house essentials and food. Clean, usually not very busy.
