My family and I really enjoyed staying at the Yorktown inn & suites each time we were there ! Our room was very clean and spacious, the staff were very welcoming and friendly. I especially liked that it was quiet and very peaceful our entire stay. Very kid friendly which is a big plus for me! I do recommend staying if your traveling to Yorktown or the surrounding area!😃Rooms: Very spacious, great air conditioning & comfortable beds!!

My husband and I have stayed here many times whenever we visit family in Yorktown. It’s difficult for me to sleep in a new place, I have no problem sleeping here. It is quiet and the rooms are comfortable. The temperature has been easy to regulate. The rooms have always been clean. Although we don’t spend much time in the room other than to sleep, we’ve never been bothered by others. We often pick up other breakfast at my mother’s but the continental breakfast is adequate. Yorktown is my hometown. For many years we had no options to stay. I’ve been happy to have a cost effective place to stay so I can get a great night’s sleep. These people take care of us whenever we stay here. They are polite and we’ve just never had any problems here.

Rented 2 rooms for the weekend. One room the a/c did not work. Other room the shower head and Tv did not work. We made pallets in the one room with the a/c. Owner Sam was not there all weekend. Told front desk about it and she said that the owner would have to be notified. Sam, the owner basically called me a liar even though he was not there. I asked for a refund for at least the one room with no a/c. I was told no, that everything did work. I will be calling the BBB on this place. The lady at the front desk was very pleasant and had her hands full with many complaints. I'm assuming that is why the owner was not there for the weekend.

Stayed 1 night. My husband rented a room so we wouldn't have to drive home after having a good night at 5Ds. The owner thought he was gonna have a one night stand with somebody cause we got it just for the night. Any who, bed was super hard, no big fluffy pillows, smelt like a library, 1st floor was very humid and hot. Nasty! We didn't even stay for breakfast. Got some rest and left cause of the bed. No bed bugs thankfully!

Decent rooms, but mixed quality of service. Room was good size and furnishings relatively new. The bathroom was newly redone and quite nice. However the room itself was not particularly clean - water rings on the table and hair in bathroom. Disappointed by front desk (or at least 2 of 3 people who I spoke to), as they were completely disinterested in customer service - in my case, my room had no towels. Night shift guy was very friendly and helpful. Had an early start so didn’t try breakfast.

Owner was rude and kept insisting that I would be smoking in his room because I look young. I told him "it's 3am why would I want to do that" he replied "that's what they all say so 100 dollar deposit because I know you will smoke you can get it back in two weeks." I turned around and just left, if only I could leave half a star. I recommend the hotel further up the street from this god awful place not to far it has such nice people there!

Enjoyable 3 day stay helpful employees and reasonable rates. Would not recommend for long term stays because they only offer breakfast but great for a few days. Room was clean and had towels. It is a small town and the hotel seems to be understaffed at times but otherwise excellent choice. I have stayed here multiple times and the owner is very kind to returning guest

This place is newer and it shows. Friendly staff. Spacious clean rooms. My duvet and pillows were so fluffy and comfortable I fell right asleep. The rooms has Dish Satellite and a microwave and mini fridge. Stay here!!!!

This place was worse that the dirtiest truck stop motel I have ever seen. The rooms are only half furnished there are roaches, and when this was pointed out to the owner we were practically accused of bringing them in with us. The so-called breakfast was skimpy to say the least. And the service left absolutely everything to be desired. It took 30 min just to get extra pillows. The toiletries were old and looked half used. I would drive from San Antonio every day before I would stay here again, even if they offered it for free. Also when attempting to book rooms online they falsely stated that they were almost full when in fact they had less than half the rooms on one floor rented out, and they were unable to get the order right even though they obviously had nothing else to do.

The hotel owner - rude as the day is long and he jacks up the prices during Western Days in October (he doesn't like to pay his bills after price gouging either). The place is run down, the area around the hotel is littered with trash and overgrown trees/ shrubs/weeds. I'd rather sleep in a tent than conduct busines with this rip-off of an "American".

I stayed one night over here with my son and my wife the windows and everything are really dirty never been cleaning with somebody some of the nightstands not even playing there's rust all over the lamps the microwave caught my pizza pocket on fire and the fire alarms don't even work TVs really small and the shower I almost slipped when I took a shower it's so slippery in the tub there's no stoppers or anything also in the room before I got had bed bugs and I kept feeling something crawling around I rather stay in Southern inn and suites down the road there's big rooms and small rooms for rent there no bugs whatsoever and the whole place is more cleaner than this one My overall experience

DO NOT STAY HERE!! The most disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The sheets were stained with what looked like urine. They haven’t dusted in years! Layers of dust on curtains and hangers. Wads of hair on the carpet. The sink drains were clogged. The shower and sinks and toilets all back up. The sink and shower water is brown yellow!! So unsanitary! You can’t brush teeth or shower! The staff stated the owner does not allow them to buy new sheets or pillows. The owner double charged the room rate for Western Days. Save yourself and your family misery and stay in Cuero!!!!!!

The owner was notified and provided pictures of the BED BUG bites the guys received. A simple apology would have been sufficient but we could not even get that from the owner. He tried to place the blame on the guys and called them liars. He was irate and said I was trying to sabotage his business and proceeded to say he owns many hotels. He stated the guys brought the bugs from outside on their clothes. I could not get him to calm down enough on the phone to even say a word.

This place is an absolute sh*thole.. the a/c blows out of about 1/8 of the vents it stays hot, the breakfast is barley food, the lights in the hotel are NEVER on, the remote doesn't even work, the bathrooms are disgusting, and the absolute worse part is the cleaning lady's we have asked multiple times over the week we were here and they lied over and over saying they changed them " I marked the sheets" this is a picture of re day I left and there is the mark still there. Nor do they vacuum or even wipe down the bathroom

Probably the best place to stay in Yorktown, TX. If you are accustomed to staying in small town hotels, you will be pleasantly surprised. If you have only stayed in chain hotels in major cities you will need to adjust your expectations. Rooms are clean and staff is pleasant. There is a breakfast available in the morning but you would be better served getting breakfast tacos next door at Jalisco.

Large comfortable room with queen size bed, desk and chair, TV on a table, fridge and microwave. Usual stuff coffee in room and breakfast which was the only let down. Not a single fruit or veg. Waffles, biscuits, sausage and gravy, cereals, and lots.of different breads. That's a lot of bread stuff.....

Nice spacious room, friendly customer service. But the AC was very noisy and bathroom door was literally falling off the hinges. Expect a bit more attention to detail for the price.

Decent price. Main issue is was the mildew smell due to the AC not being on. Also no hdmi on the tvs. I use my firestick to watch Netflix and HBO so I was stuck watching boring shows... it's good for a day or two but not much more

Average hotel for a city, nice hotel for our town. Had a friend stay here on a hunting trip and he was bitten multiple times by something in the sheets... I'm not saying that's typical of all rooms, but it makes me wary.
