They have a new selection of items and a great frozen food here a place to run in and grab whatever you might need it has a friendly staff and not a long wait in line to check out they also have a redbox outside so you can rent movies or games so convenient.

Horrible store you can't walk down the isles because they are loaded with stuff waiting to be stocked. The employees are all to busy socializing to worry about the work that needs to be done. What should take a 5 minute in and out takes about 15-20 minutes because they are so unorganized. Can't wait till the Family Dollar opens they should be better.

I'm sorry to say that just now I called the store and there was not an answer. I'm a local resident. This store has always been dirty, messy, and understocked and understaffed. I think it stays overwhelmed. I see this as an issue with the policies of DG itself and upper management outside of the store. I am not sure why the issues with it haven't been properly addressed. This store also has a reputation of high theft. Other stores I go in like Goliad look amazing. I really wish that someone would improve my hometown DG.

Is there a lower rating then 1 star? Always looks like a dirty bomb just went off in the store or mob of people just stormed the store and looted it.Last location was a shoe box size and as a customer i looked past the mess understanding the store was working with what they had. When the new store opened it was and still is twice as messy as the first location. GOOD LUCK FINDING WHAT YOU NEED IN THAT STORE. i always go to family dollar in Runge TX. Its worth the drive stocked well and always clean.

Everything is un-organized, and in disarray, making it hard to maneuver thru the aisles! The corporate office is in control of the A/C settings & they must be dubious about the Texas summer heat!!! It is extremely hot inside the store! Some of the employees are super wonderful & helpful, some do not take their job seriously or care & I've even seen several hiding in the back rows, talking on their phones!If you need a few things in a rush, it's convenient. But, if you are needing something that they don't have (and you have time)... we are less than an hour from a few other towns

This store is always a mess and stock is all out of order and messed up. Is there a manager for this store? //Generally, a great source for cotton rugs, detergent, and other items. Reasonably priced.

This store was organized when it first opened, now they never have what u need, shelves are empty, there's carts everywhere with totes on them, employees are outside smoking and on their phone most of the time, they had a guy working there at one time ,who was cussing in front of customers, the so called manager is never there, she goes in whenever, but has no control over that store,or employees. Overall this store is going down, it's a shame that it's the only store we have in this lil town, they need a real manager there.,Sorry, it is what it is. I just go to Cuero or Victoria.

Good idea to have Dollar Generals available. They sell beer now. Not too much longer for them to start selling fresh meats. We can call it Dollar General Fresh Market

This store is a MESS! Trash littered the aisles, the shelves were bare, and there's only 1 or 2 employees working ever. Try the grocery store up the hill or take your business to Cuero. This store went downhill fast...

They are never stocked, most of the time you can't get down the isles and it's not the cleanest, but the employee are well mannered, and very nice.

We literally live 2 houses down and is a to go to place everyday for all your needs and wants. My son loves going there for their toys and the wife, well for basically everything else. 👌

If this is the one in Yorktown it never has enough employees. There constantly running out of things on the shelves and in the coolers. The employee try there best just bad management is all. Has been since it opened.

We didn't find the large sack cloth with the truck after visiting every DG from here to Victoria but we did find the cutest salt n pepper truck n tree for our man cave done in Buffalo plaid and red trucks.

This store is always a mess. The cashier's are rude and not helpful. You can't even walk thru the isles because of the mess.
