I like the HEB , always clean and the people working there are helpful and polite. Sometimes I wish they were open a little bit later than 10pm but it's a small town and I still have to get used to that.

I'm sick and they wouldn't let me buy some Dayquil because I also bought some theraflu to make those hot drinks. I had to make a 2nd trip back into the store to get my dayquil. I'm an adult, I'll decide what I need for my cold. You are disgusting to treat me like a peasant and tell me what I can and can't purchase when I'm not feeling well and ran out of medicine. And don't bother replying with that "lets leave some for everyone" when I was only trying to buy ONE. Ya'll are not the only grocery store in the county. I cut up my heb card and will shop elsewhere. your rationing rules are way too strict and hurt people that are not even hoarding. keep treating your customers like this and one day you won't have any..

Went 40 miles out of my way to go to lower priced ( I thought) grocery store for meat because Brookshire Brothers take old hamburger meat and cover it with good hamburger meat nice and red and you think you are getting fresh meat until you open pkg. And break meat and find old meat inside, well guess what? Even if price is lower I got the same deal when I opened meat that I had gotten from HEB,s to make meatloaf only to fine (guess what) old hamburger meat inside. So I made an out of the way trip for nothing. Our world is going crazy recycling.

Some time going to HEB is like going to a class reunion because when you get there you going to see a bunch of old. Friends it's like one big meeting place if you know somebody you going to see him there at the HEB and if you're single you can probably run across somebody that you might want to take out almost like a dating service then it's just downright fun to go shopping

It's the best grocery store in my area. The produce are usually high quality compared to other stores in the area and the prices are considerably cheaper.

This was my first time in this store. Although small, like the HEB Pantry stores, the shelves were all stocked, the produce area looked very fresh, and I was able to navigate easily. I'll be returning.

In dire need of an update. This store mostly stocks its own brands. Don't go here if you are looking for healthy foods like raw saurkraut with live cultures or kimchi. They have the basics but often have empty shelves while Cuero's HEB is fully stocked. Often times we drive the 17 miles to the Cuero HEB store which is much nicer and has a lot of variety in brands. I would love for our store to get updated so I could exclusively grocery shop here.

They have a nice selection of veggies, meats & canned goods. The frozen section is usually wrll stocked & organized. They have a nice selection of cereals & juices, as well. Their HEB branded items are pretty good, while their HCF items can sometimes be of questionable quality. They keep the store clean enough, with little to no trash on the floor. Most cashiers make a very good effort to commune with the customers. It's a decent to good experience depending on the time of day, really.

Small HEB - good store with a little bit of everything. Did not have 24 pack coke products. Or I couldn't find them in the search up and down all aisles. Outstanding selection of frozen dinners

Found everything I was looking for plus much much more. This establishment was definitely needed here in Cuero. The old HEB didn't offer what this one does. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly.. My cashier Lisa was very friendly and upbeat. I definitely recommend this business to any and everyone.

This is a family based HEB everyone is always so helpful and nice. They maintain their cleanliness very well. The prices are always set to prioritize the sell of the merchandise they always have great low prices enjoy our friendly neighborhood HEB

This HEB is small which makes it easy to shop, yet they carry all the products I need and want with great sales and coupon deals. Sammie will always ring you up correctly and not miss any deals. I prefer this HEB over any other grocery store.

Several regular items have disappeared, including the larger chilled Mac & Cheese. The ones that are not bargains are still there, including their brand fresh items that are priced ridiculously I asked several times. Finally received an answer that the very small version will be available, but at a high price. This appears greedy and also a way to hide price hikes.

HEB was the worst to go in yoakum Texas because no one is helpful no one is friendly employees pluss managers are so full of attuied they all look at people up and down and are so unfriendley please please fire everyone and start over the only friendly person that works there that are very helpful are Connie Day and Eva

The cashier over charged us. I still $4.49 on my EBT snap but yet she still charged us 3.55 out of pocket. I examined the recipient too. All of our purchased were food so she shouldn't had charged us more to pay. I'm very upset about this. I'm sick and on a very fixed income.

Not a giant super store, but well worth a visit to this neighborhood store. Fresh produce, great meat selection and low prices. We drive 18 miles from our town to Yoakum HEB, yeah, thats how much we appreciate HEB quality.Update 1/17/22. Great gas price on regular unleaded $2.79, 20 cents per gallon CHEAPER than Hallettsville. Why is that? Still great frest fruits and vegetables. The only thing not found today was elbow macaroni. Still love HEB

Small and not much variety. You might be better off driving to Cuero if you need to grocery shop. But as far as cleanliness, courteous staff and just friendly folks they're 5 stars.

Clean store. Better supply of most things than Brookshires. Canned products limited but that is okay. Vegetables always fresher and available than Brookshires. Casher friendly, I sacked my own groceries , all sackers busy.Gas was good price did not have to wait.

It's got the basics....but that's about it. If you're not making a steak or chicken, forget it. We live in south central Texas and even the Mexican food selection is poor.It is fairly clean though, I guess.
