I USUALLY HAVE NO COMPLAINTS BUT YESTERDAY I WENT AND OLDER LADY WAS VERY RUDE! MY TOTAL WAS 20 SOMETHING AND CHANGE. WELL INSTEAD OF SAYING IT NICELY THE LADY STARTED POINTING AND CAN I READ THAT SIGN. FOR A MINUTE I WAS LIKE WHAT IS SHE TALKING ABOUT AND THEN REALIZED A SMALL HAND WRITTIN SIGN SAYS NO LARGE BILLS. MIND YOU I HAD A 50 SO SHE WOULD OF MAYBE GAVE ME 25 BACK. THIS LADY IF YOU DON'T LIKE YOUR JOB IT'S NOT MY FAULT!

During our record freeze in Texas, our local DG in Yoakum were helping people to get what they needed to stay warm and fed. Most ALL other stores were closed due to electricity outages. There were 2 women in particular that organized the chaos and let customers shop in their time of need. Please thank them from our community. Above and Beyond customer service.

Did I just come in on a bad day or does this place always smell like a landfill? My wife said when she worked at DG she hated working this location because of the mold and the smell.It smells like mold and rotting food!
