Won’t be back to this place. Picked up my dog 15 minutes after they said he was ready after his grooming appointment. They brought him out and said “oh he must have just peed all over himself” and patted his legs and said “he will just be wet for a bit”. He was completely covered in pee, soaked from head to tail. And I paid $120 for the experience.

I have only booked 2 dog grooming appointments with this specific location of petsmart. Had no issues the first appointment but this 2nd appointment will be my last. I booked my appointment 2 weeks in advance for the afternoon @ 12:30. Took the dogs in (2 very small maltipoos). When we arrived at our scheduled time there was already a waiting line of 4 people in front of us to just get in the door of the salon to drop them off, red flag. We finally dropped them off was called not even 30 minutes later stating one of my dogs had pooped 3 times and was showing anxiety so they wouldn’t finish the appointment. On the call the woman was rude and had a tone as if it was my fault or the dogs fault. Just to be clear my dogs have never had an issue at the groomers before no reports on them whatsoever. The issue was the fact that they had way overbooked the salon on this day there wasn’t even enough room to get in and out of the salon with how many people and dogs were in there. Maybe you shouldn’t overbook the schedule and have 30 dogs getting groomed at once and there wouldn’t be a problem with anxiety. My dogs have never reacted this way before but when there is WAY too many dogs in there at once of course the dogs are going to have anxiety. So we go back to get the dogs and they had drenched one of the dogs already and had partially cut some of her hair. So i had to take a soaking wet dog home because you guys are so ignorant with your scheduling . Clearly you can’t operate at a capacity like that. Probably just was too lazy to do the grooming and wanted to have an excuse to cancel because y’all had too many dogs in there as is. And the lady had the nerve to tell me to book an earlier appointment time in the morning when it’s not so busy. Mhmmmm yeah sure that’s the issue here. No, the issue is that yall can’t schedule appointment times correctly to not have 100 dogs sitting in the salon at once.

We brought our Australian Shepherd here today for a grooming for the first time. When the lady checking me in told the groomer my dog was hers today, the groomer immediately had an attitude. We just wanted a bath and deshedding treatment. The groomer wanted to take the dog and have me wait outside and then come back in to see how the dog would react before taking her…I thought this was weird. She immediately started saying my dog tried to bite her and that they wouldn’t take her. My dog has NEVER bit or even nipped at anyone. I have two toddlers at home and she is the best with them. I think this girl just didn’t feel like working today. Horrible customer service.

Poor service , rude staff, not dog lovers or friendly at all. brought my fur baby for 10am appointment on Saturday Feb 4th, 2024 . My pet is 18 lbs . They did not finish grooming until 3.30 that’s after us calling and checking up on status. When I picked up my dog they didn’t follow the instructions, almost shaved my dog, no teddy bear cut I requested, nails and hair uneven. When I asked they said they followed the instructions on record from year or more ago… they wouldn’t cut the nails when I asked while I was there because they were so busy and asked me to bring back the dog another day. No manager on site to resolve any issues. Don’t take your dog if you love them.

We’ve been getting our dog groomed here for the last 3 years. Over the last 6 months we’ve been having issues. Yesterday they called several hours early asking if she could come earlier, I agreed but didn’t have time to brush her before dropping her off. ) I knew of 1 tangle since is just bathed her myself 5 days earlier ). I dropped her off and they immediately assessed an extra fee for matting. I asked them to at least look at her first. A young woman comes over with a comb, finds a tangle and runs the comb from the base of the tangle attempting to go all the way through…didn’t even try to work it out. My schnauzer yelped while I held her. I made the girl stop. But ok, no worries as I knew this wasn’t the person that would be grooming her. 2 hours later some girl called me and proceeded to aggressively and rudely tell me that my baby screamed every time they tried to groom her. That has NEVER happened before. She also said that they were charging me another fee for extra handling because of my dog’s behavior. I have no doubt they were rough with her and that’s why she screamed (she’s not a screamer by the way). When we get there to pick her up…our $50 bath and cut was now $98….she was close to shaved… there was no need to comb out the tangles if they were going to shave her, right? We will never take her back. Note: my husband once heard the new manager say that she was going to make sure they started charging the extra fees so that the groomers were paid…she said this in front of customers.

Feeling really disappointed! Been coming to this location for a year took my shihtzu for a bath and trim. The lady had the nerve to tell me that is was to much work to trim her, that her fur was really tangled, by the way it wasn't . She then put the comb on her fur and my baby yelped she pulled it hard. She basically said if we didn't like it to brush her at home then to bring her back . We always pay extra to remove some tangles as needed. I guess she was to lazy to do the trimming and brushing! Never again coming back!

I called the store to find out about a product and an employee who answered my call was very nice and polite he even offered me to bring my product to the cashier which was very nice super outstanding.Highly recommend the store to anyone

I wanted to bring my cat for a deshedding bath & brush, and even though I work as a bather, I don't work on cats. I scheduled him with Sam and she did an amazing job! She kept his stress level low while doing a great job on his bath and he feels nice and soft! He's shedding a lot less now too. Thank you Sam :)

Went there to have my dog's claws cut. They don't make appointments for that apparently so it's walk in only. Except - If you walk in during their working hours in the middle of the day, they are usually closed because 'there were no more clients'. I'll go somewhere else in the future and recommend you do to - otherwise you might waste your trips there because they're closed during their open hours.

So far, so good, but of course, I only go here for glucosamine tablets for my dogs. I saw one of the employees taking the cats out to stretch their legs and give them attention, which is excellent.

Sam is by far the best groomer I have ever been to. I was over charged at another location and my dog was put in a kennel for 4 hours before seen after i had waited in line to get in the door I haven't even tried again since that experience because they suggested that I shave my bassist hound mix and if anyone knows about that breed it could cause her hair to come back in patches and bald spots. Sam made me feel like I could trust her and did such a amazing job my dog has never had soft hair she always left the groomer with course hair same as when she walked in. Sam will forever have my business I was just about in tears when I left because my dog was a brand new dog I have had her for 2 years and she has never looked so amazing. Sam is worth booking with everyone was so kind but Sam is so amazing I couldn't even wait to book another appointment. Please give her the business she deserves. Thank you so much Sam

Love pet smarts staff and groomers too. A lot of great choices and items available for pretty much any animal or creature one may own. Highly recommend their groomers for your dog, they make our boy look awesome every time.

Did a stock check at the wylie location, when I arrived at the store, no one knew what I was talking about instead of giving up and sending me on my way with apologies… chance and San-min teamed up and scoured the floor, & stock room only to return emptied handed. Upon seeing my sad disappointed expression they went above and beyond, returned to the stock room with determination opened up boxes to find my product. My disappointment turned into an amazing shopping experience. Thanks guys!

They canceled the appointment I scheduled over a week ago for my senior Great Dane today because I wasn’t able to bring him up there 5 hours earlier than the originally scheduled time because the groomer didn’t have enough clients between now and then - so instead of being professional and accommodating to the clients they DO have scheduled, those clients get screwed over. I understand having a gap in clients - clock out for a few hours and come back, get someone to cover the appointment - but don’t leave paying customers and their fur babies totally screwed over. I have been to the PetSmart in Rowlett/Rockwall probably 30 times and NEVER had this issue. It is not my fault that “Nash” didn’t have enough clients, but apparently it will be my punishment and massive inconvenience because, as I explained to her, I am about to get married and needed this done WHEN SCHEDULED, because I do not have the time or ability to reschedule and get him taken care of before I go out of town for my wedding. I can’t take my 10 year old arthritic, anxious Great Dane in to be crated while he waits for the “busy” groomer to get to him. So disappointed and beyond livid.

My fur baby graduate from their beginner training class and he loved his trainer Lexi. She was very kind and patient. The group training was fun and enjoyable. They give you a booklet and all you need to know to train your dog. You have to put an effort and be consistent. I’m happy I chose this training class and I will sign up for the intermediate class too. Everyone in store is friendly and nice. The grooming salon is also taking care of my baby. Groomers and bathers are always nice and kind to my baby. Definitely a place we both like to go!!!

3/18/23: Stopped by with our new puppy and I asked Maegan for help in the dog leash section. Had the pleasure of meeting Daniel, and he walked us through the different types of harnesses, and how to put them on. He was very patient with our puppy and friendly to us. We chose a harness and continued to shop. I met with Heather and we talked about different kinds of puppy food. We picked out some treats and food. After we made our purchases, we decided to go to the fish section. I picked out some Cichlids and Heather came to get them out of the tank. This was our first visit to this location, and we had a great time, conversing and shopping. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and made us (and our puppy) feel welcome and valued. We will definitely continue to visit this location!

This place is horrible and i will never be taking my pets here ever again for grooming. Christa has horrible customer service and it’s pretty obvious she doesn’t like what she does as she has no patience or compassion for these pets. She was not friendly at all and seemed rush as she wanted to leave for the day. Christa called me 30 min after i dropped off my dog and said she was too matted and had to stop immediately and referred me to a Vet to get her shaved. That was BS because the first time I took her in she was worse and the other groomer did an awesome job. Well when i get my dog she looked horrible, I was speechless and couldn’t believe what she had done to my dog. I was able to get her scheduled with Mobile Pet Spa yesterday and they did an amazing job and were able to fix what Christa had done to her.

When you take the idiotic combo lock off the restroom, I'll consider upgrading my rating but wow...really? How is that customer griendly...or even helpful? Reminds me of the 70s when some idiot thought up a pay toilet situation and a bunch of other idiots thought it was a great idea. A lot of kids had to crawl under the doors because mom didn't have a quarter or whatever. I just had to walk the length of the store twice but equally off-putting.

Super friendly and helpful staff from the moment I walked in all the way to check out. Store was clean and organized. One associate was very helpful and informative. He also saw me at check out carrying my heavy puppy and offered to take me to another register so I wouldn’t have to wait in line. Fantastic service.
