I did a lot of online shopping for tires and chose the Wylie Pep Boys based on current deals for my 2017 Rav4. lI reserved an appointment for a specific tire that I wanted after doing a lot of online shopping. Turns out they only had four of them and had just put them on another vehicle.The Store Manager called me and explained the situation. He offered to put on a slightly more expensive set and make up the small cost difference by discounting the alignment price.Turns out I am very happy with how everything turned out. He was up front about the wait time and was honest throughout the process. I take care of my car and had no upsell attempts at all.On my receipt the Store Manager name is GEOFFNIX. I have to give credit for the value and service I received. Total tire replacement on Rav4 with alignment for 660 bucks is a great value.

After arriving at the location at my appt time, I was informed that I would be waiting behind other vehicles already in the bays. The waiting area is small and not a place you want to hang out. The price of an oil change has increased to $90. There are any number of places within a couple of miles of my home that I can pay through the nose for an oil change that will be done in 10-15 minutes. I won't be returning.

Every Pep Boys I've been to in the Plano area has at least one guy who's condescending and dismissive, with the other techs basically apologizing for their behavior. Good service, poor attitude.

The apt process was simple. Same day too which was great. However, when I arrived, the guy working didn't have a clue why I was there although I was pretty descriptive. Come to find out, there was no manager there. There was also no mechanic. The worker there couldn't run diagnostics or even begin to give me any answers with the issues I brought my vehicle there for. He performed an oil change and pulled a code. ZERO info. It's a pep boys. That's like hiring a person that's never cooked before to be a chef. You guys are next to my house. I planned on doing all my car business there but I can't do that if yall can't even fix it.

I had low tire pressure on my way home from work today, and Pep Boys was one of the few shops that was still open (this was at 6:30pm).I called the shop and Peyton answered, assuring me that if I got my car here, they would take care of things. I got enough air in my tire to make it the half-mile down the road to Pep Boys and met with Peyton in the office, where he could tell that I was flustered and concerned.They plugged and patched my leaking tire in a jiffy and I was soon on my way home for the weekend. I really appreciate these guys for saving me in a pinch, as I did not want to wait the 1-2 hours for AAA to show up.Thanks to Peyton and the rest of the team at Pep Boys!

Chad was super helpful when my tire blew and was damaged on the highway. Unfortunately the road hazard warranty pepBoys offers is a scam as it did not cover my tires that were barely a year old with not even 12,000 miles on them (rated for much more) bc they were inexplicably bald. Showing receipts for tire rotations and alignments was to no avail so I ended up buying a new set of tires. They installed them pretty quickly and at least got me a good deal. The location is great but the hazard warranty is a scam bc even when properly serviced and 24,000 miles + under the usage for the tires they cover NOTHING. So I’m unsure why i paid about $100 for the hazard insurance and had my car properly serviced all year. Regardless Chad and his team at this location were great. I got my two perfectly good tires back in case there’s an issue going forward.

Please do not come here. Their service is awful. There is a guy called paten or something who is a walking catastrophe.I am pretty busy guy.I scheduled appointment and came on time. This peten or whatever, said I have to wait because “someone else appeared”. 45 mins. In their pitiful office.I needed to change brake pads urgently. I agreed to come 45 minutes later.When I came, guess what “someone else appeared” and I had to wait another 45 minutes. Sitting in their office.Sure.This paten or whatever is rude, and behaving with customers badly. He also is claiming himself manager.DO NOT COME THERE!

Chad the manager helped me out big time. They were fully booked but my alternator died and they still fit me in same day and got it fixed. Car even died but the jumped it and brought it in and fixed it while I waited. Cuddos to Chad.

I got a great deal on my tires, but the real special part or the people. Josh and Jeff are great, I don't know the young mechanic's name who actually did the work on the tires, but he did excellent job as well. I do a lot of work on my car myself, so when they told me some of the things that needed to be addressed soon, I knew they knew their stuff because I've already got them on my list.
