We stumbled upon The Frosty and now I’ll look for it whenever I drive from Austin to Corpus. Surprisingly spacious and perky 50s decor on the inside. Terrific service. They helped with a halal meal, a vegetarian, and an omnivore—each with a smile and understanding. Diverse menu, a steady stream of regulars.Vegetarian options: Beans, sides, great salads, quesadillasDietary restrictions: Accommodated halal and vegetarian eaters, each, with a smile.

Strawberry shakes are Fantastic! Had the delicious catfish basket and 1/3 lb burger combo. Customer Service is impeccable. We travel often down Hwy 77 and this is our new rest stop!Update - Dec 16, 2021, stopped again and had a wonderful visit. Ordered 3, #4's, fries and three milkshakes. Still another incredible experience and highly recommended.Update - Feb 4, 2024, Had the two number 4s and a Strawberry shake. Everything was cooked to perfection. The customer service us still spot on too. We will be back again.

Stopped here on the way to Corpus Christi with my wife and 2 kids. Ordered 3 cheese burgers and Coconut Fried shrimp, onion rings, curly fries and regular fries. The food hit the spot! Exactly what I was looking for when we stopped here, old school big juicy burger with chopped lettuce, sliced tomato, pickles and melted cheese. The coconut shrimp was made from scratch, I think we got lucky because we saw a picture of it on another Google review, and when we asked (since it wasn't on the menu), they said they don't always offer it.. but had ingredients to make it for us! As good as it was, they might as well offer it all the time. We ate it all too fast to take pics, but we all left with full belly's.The staff was friendly and the 50s decor in the place made it feel cozy and fun.

If you want an old fashioned burger and fries or rings, (plus much more) you have to come and try this place!We drove 40 minutes to try it out and honestly, we will be back! It is totally worth it! The burger was hand patted and do delicious!It was a Great experience!

Heard about this place from the Fort Worth foodie group so we had to try it on our way home from N Padre Island. Tried the famous Tortilla Burger! It was excellent. The rest of the family loved their burgers too (Wasn’t able to get a picture fast enough).

We were traveling through the area and wanted a good burger, when searched along our route this place popped up. From the reviews and photos, we definitely wanted to give this place a try! We are so glad we did. Hands down great burgers. I had their famous tortilla burger all the way with guacamole added and sweet potato fries, excellent! My husband had the double burger, which is 14 Oz of meat and he sure did enjoy every bite! Our son got the tortilla burger as well and he enjoyed it as well! Very friendly staff and owner, if we ever happen to be in the area we will def stop by again!

Great food and friendly service. Well worth the short side trip off the highway. Taco Burger was really good, and the refried beans made it a very filling surprise on the way back to Houston.Not great for accessibility, but doable.

Found this gem diner in Woodsboro, TX. The burger place is filled with nostalgia from the Fifties. The atmosphere is pleasant, service was great with good, food, and good parking. The only downside is it's a little tricky to find if you're not familiar with the area.Kid-friendliness: Play Fifties era music, and witness a young boy about 10yrs. old with two older men eating watching a muted old NFL game.

We drove from Refugio to Woodsboro just for the delicious malt made here from Blue Bell ice cream. The staff is always friendly and helpful and everything I’ve ever ordered here has been delicious.Kid-friendliness: Definitely a family place.

Don’t look anywhere else! Get there as fast as you can. It’s been there for 69 years ….that says a lot. They are famous for their tortilla burger…glad I tried it! It was the best. They use the best meat! The chocolates shake was the best ever and the onion rings are delicious!
