Frenship Vet Clinic is so well staffed with caring, knowledgeable vets and techs and support staff. We’ve had all of our dogs and cats cared for over the past 11 years. Dr Stevens, Dr Cooper, and Dr Katy have developed their love for our animals and others’, whether it’s a cat with a broken jaw, Red with a spreading skin infection, Lily with seizures, or Stella with heart worms. Frenship Vet Clinic is excellent!

I have had my pets here for years. Several have passed and they were always there to be understanding and supportive during those times. My pets don't seem to mind going once the staff comes in the room. I guess they can sense the people are good people because they relax. I love this place. The only downfall is their hours of operation since I have an 8-5 Monday-Friday. I miss them being open Saturday morning but I wouldn't change the care my pets get. I will take off work if need be.

Dr. Cooper and the folks at Frenship Vet clinic have done an exceptional job for us on multiple occasions. We have working cow dogs and they’re very thorough and practical about anything we’ve ever needed. Fairly priced and go through the options and costs with you up front. 10/10 would recommend anyone needing a small animal vet to check them out. The negative reviews I’ve seen on here are not practical and not indicative of the quality people that work there.

Dr. Steve and Dr. Cooper saved my 5lb schnauzer’s life. She ate mouse poisoning and her chances weren’t looking good… because of their quick response and around the clock care, she beat the statistics! I can’t thank them enough!!

The staff and doctors here are amazing. Everyone is so very kind and patient with my puppy who doesn't cooperate much and would much rather play and roam around. This is the best vet clinic I have been to in over 30 years. I appreciate that they can always get my fur babies in at the last minute. We met this group when we were in an urgent situation with our big ole 9 year old boy quickly fading from cancer. We made the decision to let him rest rather than suffer and this group was the most compassionate, understanding and accommodating group I have experienced in a vets office since I was a kid. As I get older I care more about experiences at places we make hard decisions and spend hard earned money at and for that reason, I will be taking my fur babies to Frenship Vet.

I have 4 cats-2 dogs- and a horse. I live quite a ways from west Lubbock, but I drive 45 minutes,one way, to frenship to see Dr. Cooper and Dr. Steve. Our pet family is loved like family there. I brought my Older dog in to Frenship Vet Clinic on 2-20-24 due to him having issues that worried me, I knew something wasn'tright. I explained his symptoms and they suggested a urinalysis. They finally came back with a diagnosis of a UTI. They gave him a steroid shot and prescribed two different meds for him to take and charged me $240 dollars after everything was said and done and I was okay with that because my little man is like my child!! I've had my little man for 14 yrs!! Today, the very next day my little man is gone and I'm just devastated!! In less then 24hrs of being seen by this vet my baby is gone!!! I am at a loss for words and don't understand why !! I realize he was old and that maybe it was just his time but you can't tell me that they couldn't have just told me that was the case instead of raking me over the coals just trying to make a dollar!! I feel as if they knew that he was in fact dying and not suffering from a UTI and they took advantage of me in the worst way!! Do not recommend this place of business and will be seeking my money back for said services!! Completely and utterly disappointed and disgusted with how all this turned out!!

I can honestly say that this is best clinic that I have ever used. Everyone is super friendly and very caring. We had only been living in the area for a couple of weeks when one of my dogs became extremely sick. They were booked but were able to fit him in. Dr. Cooper came in the room, sat on a stool and really listened and asked questions. Nothing felt rushed like I have experienced at vet clinics in the past. They also called the next day to check to see how he was doing. I have had two other visits since then and they were great as well. Highly recommend.

He sits down with me, answers everything, won't sugarcoat it, and gives me every option and every possible outcome for everything that could be wrong with my pets when they need it. We took our dog several times for the same symptoms only to be told the same reason for the illness. Recently my dog became ill again with the same symptoms and yet again we were told the same thing. The minimum care was done and unfortunately my dog got worse. I took him to another clinic. The doctor at the other clinic found the cause for my dog’s illness and unfortunately our pet was too sick to be saved. He subsequently died after being hospitalized for three days. We were told if the cause was diagnosed earlier the outcome could have been different. We have other pets who were treated at Frenship but because of what happened we are taking our pets to the other clinic that tried to save my dog.

I have recommended Frenship Vet clinic to everyone I know!! The staff is incredible, they took such great care of my dog after she was attacked by another dog. When I took her back everyone was so excited to see her! They definitely take care of their patients, the doctors are always willing to take phone calls whenever they’re closed and they remember their patients and everything about them. This is the BEST clinic I have ever been to!

We just moved to the Frenship area a few months ago and picked Frenship Vet Clinic to transfer our dog to because of their amazing reviews and they are completely true! The staff is amazing and so friendly. The vets are also amazing and so thorough but don’t charge you for unnecessary things. They always call and check on my pet a few days after they were seen in clinic. They are amazing!

Frenship Vet Clinic is a lifesaver-literally. I recently switched from the clinic I’ve used in Lubbock for over 40 years because I felt their priority has become making money. My 1st visit to FVC was with my cat to have a cyst removed from her neck. Every employee there was friendly, courteous, and seemed genuinely concerned about my cat and me. Dr Steve took time to explain the treatment he recommended, and after all was said and done, my cat was great and the cost was way less than I was accustomed to paying at my previous vet. When my 13 yr old chihuahua quit eating and started coughing, I was pretty sure it was due to the congenital heart failure with which my previous vet had diagnosed, and I took her in to have her euthanized. Dr Steve was very sensitive to my emotional state, but asked me to allow a full work up on her heart because he had never seen her before, and congenital heart failure could often be treated with medication. I was skeptical because I couldn’t afford a large bill, nor did I want a large bill just to be told she needed to be euthanized. I followed the dr’s suggestion, and after a very reasonable and affordable bill, including the 3 prescriptions, I brought my precious girl home. It’s been a little over 3 mths, and she is still doing great. I highly recommend FVC. I’m certainly glad I found found them.

Took all 3 of my pups here since 2018. Staff is very helpful & welcoming. We were very pleased with the pricing as well compared to other local vets. We recently relocated to Fort Worth & we are going to miss Frenship Vet greatly. Definitely recommend 🙂
