After taking Mom's cat to this clinic, we moved ALL of our pet care to Dr. Custer. Not did they just take excellent care of our fur babbies, but they took excellent care of us and our concerns. Dr. Custer and the entire staff make us feel as if our babies are as important to them as they are to us. I can always get a convenient appointment time, and am seen pretty quickly upon arrival. The facility is beautiful and squeeky clean. Oh, and the fees! I simply could not believe how incredibly reasonable!!!! Dr. Custer and his staff at Winnie Vet Clinic has raised the bar, and it is well worth the 40 minute drive from our home.

So extremely thankful for this clinic and the staff. I brought my dog in without an appointment after she was attacked, and was see right away. They care about the animal, which is the most important Quality when looking for a pet doctor. They’re fair on the prices, too. I will be using them for all my animals for now on! Thank you all!

I took my girl in for an emergency check-up. I ended up having to put her down. They took VERY good care of me and my girl in our time of distress. They understood that it's heartbreaking and allowed me to drive to get my kids so they could say goodbye. They mailed me a card with all of their signatures expressing their condolences. I've always heard good things about them but now I have experienced it. Thank yall so so much!

truly an empathetic and great team, I had to put down 2 of my childhood dogs this week, and for the life of me i can't remember their names, but the vet was very gentle and understanding , now the vet tech that assisted me, that woman is a rockstar, I've never met a more empathetic and supportive woman, she knew and answered my concerns before I had to say anything, can't wait for their paw prints and ashes, thank you guys so much I can't possibly express my gratitude further, if you care about your buddies you'll take them here!

I've been taking my animals to Dr Custer for many many years. 20+ years to be precise. He's the best of the best. Kind & truly loves what he does. I drive 30min one way just to see him. I've also seen Dr Maytak when he wasn't available & she's lovely too. In fact everyone that works here are great. I can't sing their praises enough.

Dr. Custer is great. He has treated 2 of my dogs & when one had to be euthanized due to kidney failure-he was so caring & gentle. The staff is helpful especially helping me load/unload the dogs. If you want a vet to treat your pet like their own…this is the vet for you.

Buddy loves his Winnie Vet. They take such good care of him whether he’s doing his check ups, has a little emergency situation or he’s staying at their “hotel”. He’s very upset this weekend because they’re closed to replace their floors and he’s staying at another “hotel”. Dr. Custer and Dr. Matak are great!

Winnie Vet Clinic is absolutely the best animal clinic I have been to in over 60 years of owning dogs and cats. All the employees there from the receptionist to the veterinarian are so polite and show their respect for the pet owners and love of the pets. Their prices are barely half of what I have paid throughout the Gulf Coast area over the last 10 years. I can't imagine going anywhere else.

Great service and friendly staff. I have also had to bring my dogs in without an appointment for emergency visits MULTIPLE TIMES and it has always been a breeze getting my babies in to see their docs. Life saving surguries on a couple occasions. I have moved since I started using this clinic and did try to find once close to home, but it was a bust. I continue to make the now 45 minute drive just to see Dr. Maytak or Custer. They are hands down THE BEST! Our dogs are worse than toddler's I tell you Love, but we love them like our kids, so would do anything to save them of course. We love Winnie Veterinary Clinic! They take very good care of our fur babies. <3

I love this Vet Clinic.I've taken multiple dogs here,for spay,surgeries,and just regular checkups.Well organized. Prices have gone up recently but still affordable more so than other vets I have used. My only complaint is they got rid of their App. It was so useful.

I always feel like my German Shepards are in good hands. My oldest German Shepard had a surgery and they kept me informed with any information. I feel like they have the best Vets there. I drive to Winnie just for the great Vets and service. It’s a lot longer drive for me but it’s worth it for my girls

I feel so reassured taking my kitties here. I usually schedule with Dr. Matax, and she truly cares for all the animals she sees and even remembers our cats and our life updates when we come in. She takes my concerns with my cats seriously, and the clinic offers many services and medicines. I drive from Port Arthur to see them and it’s worth it. All the employees are fun to talk to and help me out with any questions I have. One of our cats gets motion sickness and he sometimes makes a mess. The staff helps to clean up if needed, and puppy pads on the way home. 10/10 your furry family are in good hands here.

Dr. L. Custer and his team were amazing. I went somewhere else, it was empty, and scheduled an appointment for the next day. I called Winnie Veterinary Clinic and was able to fit us in even though I'm a NEW client. The clinic was full and my stay there was exactly one hour. Will keep coming here for everything. They were polite from beginning to end. The prices are hard to beat. I'm from Conroe and easily would've cost twice what I paid here today. Thank you!
