I absolutely ADORE the size and organizational layout of this store. It's larger than all Kroger stores I've visited. The selection of wine and beer is massive. This store has all the standard selections a typical location would in addition to a clothing/shoe department for women, men and kids. A few of the selections were actually quite spunky.The checkout was fast. The staff was nice and helpful. I'd shop here often if I were in area more.

The Kroger in Willis has been our favorite go-to place for groceries since well before it moved to the NW corner of I45 & FM1097. Why? Because #1 the staff and #2 product brand/quality/offering #3 clean and organized #4 price. My Kroger customer experience team includes: Miss Lucy and Sandra in the Deli. The bakery man, The meat man, the produce team, the drug store, the customer services personnel and the cashiers. The entire staff is welcoming, knowledgeable, helpful and efficient. Well done Willis Kroger.Your loyal customer.

Random kindness from the lady working outside with plants! Chanel stopped what she was doing and went out of her way to help me put a pot in my basket because she saw how I was struggling with my pregnant stomach. She gave all kinds of tips about how to keep my new plant baby alive and I am grateful. Thank you Chanel!!!

Just came home from picking up a grocery order from Kroger and bags were completely stuffed with random items. This is the second time it’s happened. The first time when we were carrying our bags inside the house, the handles almost broke because the bags were so heavy. This is unacceptable…with groceries prices sky high and the kroger employees having no care in the world of how their actions are affecting people. Goodbye Kroger, Hello H‑E‑B….

This store is the BOMB!! Mainly because of the huge clothing section. I buy most of my clothes here, especially my christmas stuff!! My main Kroger by my home does not have this section. But, I love them both! The produce department is sooo great that we prefer it to HEB.

Either make self checkout easy and fast or ditch it already! We're not your employees!! The process is terrible, the system doesn't work any better for the employees than for the customers. Left the cart at the self check out and went home.

Awful to my 70 year old mom. She was trying to buy .88cents pineapple. It rang up different. She asked for a manager who was rude and told her she cannot sell it for the advertised price. It happened today 3/31/24 at 2pm cashier Mya. Manager was a young girl with short hair. My mom is on fixed income. How difficult was it to adjust the price? Never will shop at Kroger willis.

Never an employee at the gas station! So consistently, it's just ridiculous. How hard is it to have someone out there during peak times! Always saying they're taking the trash out, oh come on. Have another employee help then. HEB will undercut yall right out of Willis if you can donthe simple things like have an attendant for the gas station. On top of that, good luck calling, they hardly ever answer the phone..

For years Kroger was the only option if you lived in Willis and wanted a close by grocery store. That is about to end for them when HEB opens.There’s no amount of sprucing things up on the outside that is going to keep us from switching stores. They can add inflatables outside and decorate the store on the outside but that doesn’t fix what it broken on the inside. They’re often out of key staples. Produce employees are lazy and rude. Shelves are empty often. Picking up groceries from them is equally frustrating. They often tell you they’re out of items when they’re not. That just happened today when they shared there were no carrots. We drove around to the parking lot and went in the store only yo find carrots. It defeats the purpose behind having them pick your groceries if they’re not going to do so.Prices are good for most things considering the state of the economy but service in general is awful. Employees sit outside the front door to smoke then toss their spent cigarettes on the sidewalk or parking lot. Using your debit card here and asking for cash in return yields a surcharge, makes no sense, especially since using my Amex card there costs them more. The local president for Texas based stores is out of touch with how bad it is at the Kroger’s. I would suggest he spend more time in Texas and less time in the northeast to see first hand the challenges facing his business. His employees typically leave and go work for HEB where I understand they make more and enjoy a better working environment.Our time here is limited once we have another close by option. It can’t come soon enough.

I had a dollar that got stuck in the self check out so i told the self check out cashier in the 2nd lane to help me. cashier and the manager that helped me had a attitude and wouldn’t say sorry for the inconvenience or nothing just were mad they had to do their job. Then the cashier yelled at us to grab our bag then after it was done i said thank you then she said MMHMMM in a rude way….No sorry no nothing. Yall need to train them to have good customers service skills if they are going to work with customers.

I find most any food or drug item I need here..as well as housewear items..toys clothes and pretty much like a department store too..good pharmacy..bank on site and ATM machine..highly recommended..very friendly staff..

Wish I could leave 0 stars! Bathrooms were horrible there was poop everywhere toilet paper everywhere! I needed to purchase some underwear, and saw there was a deal for buy one get one, I asked the lady with pink hair , which by the way was absolutely useless. Don’t know why they are paying her when she’s on her phone and completely ignored me when I asked for a price check on underwear to make sure it’s 27.00 dollars for just a 6 pack of underwear! So not only was the restroom a complete dumpster fire! The customer service was burning with it! WILL BE GOING TO H-E-B FROM NOW ON! THANK YOU H-E-B FOR COMING TO WILLIS!

I just absolutely love this store. I love how family oriented it is. They seems to always do something for the kids. Today on our visit they had free pictures with santa!

I wanted to grab some things today, got up headed to kroger. I had a fairly large amount of groceries, so I prefer not to use sell check out. Only one line open with 4 people in line. OK self check out it is. I had a six pack of beer in the front of the cart, so I assume the clerk would be somewhat attentive. No, waited some time to be acknowledged. Then apparently something triggered security and had to wait for another attendant for help. She reviewed the security camera like I was a shoplifter from San Francisco. I'm done thank goodness there is HEB now.

This Kroger location does not service their customers during the busiest hours. The checkout lines, all one or two that are open, back up to 4-5 deep because they refuse to keep more open. When I approached the manager, she acted like she was unaware because no one asked for help. What? The manager should know this if your paying attention. The person who answered the phone was extremely rude and disrespectful and frankly if I was her manager and heard how she responded she would be fired. Will be shopping at HEB from now on.

Prices are too high, but selection is good. Kroger spends too much money on management personnel and penny pinchers that you don't see in the store. This public company aims to please their shareholders. Often overcharged for produce. Never undercharged. And now when you're working hard to check yourself out you have a camera on you. See the "recording in progress" message? I'm very disappointed in the direction of this company, but then again, I don't own Kroger stock.

My 16 year old granddaughter came to gas pumps may 28 in the afternoon. She’s a new driver and wanted to get gas. She went to the lady and said to the lady she wanted to get gas. My granddaughter had no idea about that process so she asked the lady if she knew how much a Corolla would take. The lady said she didn’t know and asked her “are you stupid?”. How hard would it have been to understand she was young, inexperienced and said go for twenty. Rudeness should never be an option. She needs customer service classes.
