Animals packed tightly typical of feedlot...smells like shust...not much vegetation...another reason to go vegetarian...like the reactionary comment about artieries from CaliforniaNo website...so hard for the public to get good info. Based on visual observations and shust smell...this is not a business one should support.

Terrible place. When animals are treated as commodities, they end up being abused, neglected, and treated poorly. Good, decent people will always choose ethics over profit, abuse, and personal gain. People who don’t want to see cows mistreated and/or killed should go vegan/vegetarian.

I'm a commercial truck driver and I love my beef. However, this is absurd, there is one other ranch in California; probably many, but one in particular, Harris Ranch, this is what happens when you have corporate ranching. These cows are not being fed hay and grass, they are being fed corn and soy these are bioengineered grains. 90% of our nations, and Canda's corn, soy, and sugar is gmo.. which means your eating bioengineeredbeef. These conditions cause stress, and disease, so they are given anti-biotic, which you are ingesting. Stuart Anderson never treated his cattle this way he had prize cattle, award winning cattle. You coan tell the difference between a cut of Black Angus and this Corporate farmed cattle.

This doesn’t even deserve a 1. I am unsure how this is legal. They are piled on top of each other or squeezed together. No water no food. How is this not abuse. How do these people sleep at night. I haven’t ate meat since seeing this. I’ve been to a few ranches and none treated their animals this way. I hope karma eats these owners in full force. This is disgusting

If I could leave no stars I would. This place is absolutely horrible and disgusting. Driving by there are cows piled on top of each other with no grass in sight. They are so crammed in that they can’t even move around. It should be illegal. Absolutely disgusted by this place.

Excellent place. Lots of quality beef is produced for our consumption here. I love seeing all the little hurt feelings comment about “how terrible it is” or “how bad it smells” lol. Honestly laughable comments. Keep crying as you drive by on the artery from California to try and contaminate the rest of the world

Prepare to gag. As many pounds of manure as there are animals stinks up the air on the 40 for two-three miles both ways. Meet your meat!

horrible, horrible place!!! Shouldn't be allowed! Where are animal rights?? These poor animals. It smells horrific too. Words can't even describe this place. Unbelievable.Nobody says it is not hard working. Don't make it about the workers. It is about the animals not the workers. It is not human and that's a fact!!! Other people work hard to.

Just drove past here, absolutely broke my heart the conditions these poor things live in, awaiting to be slaughtered. I understand the cycle of life but to think of consuming meat of depressed animals that clearly are t living quality meat makes you think of diseases meats. You are what you eat, literally!

Dear ranchers, I hope this finds you in good health. I drove along the land that you have the cows staying on which are overcrowded, they have no access to roam freely or eat from vegetation growing on land, and they obviously look sad.I hope you can find it in your heart to access your compassion. No feeling creature should be treated so carelessly. Treating cows carelessly not only hurts them, it hurts every one of us, including yourself and your loved ones. If you look deeply within, I’m sure you’ll see this clearly. Our success in life cannot be measured in dollars and cents alone. Please reflect on this and do your best. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

I grew up working a ranch with my father and grandfather. We had cattle and did feeders on our ranch. However on the way to Arizona it was dark and I could t see the condition of the cows, on my return trip to Texas I did. There is no reason for this. Pens prob have not been cleaned in who knows how long, there is no room for them to move let alone lay down or anything. The smell is all the waste and the thousands crammed in , idk I’m a beef eater and still support local farmers but there is no excuse for this.

A lot of people are commenting on the smell. Grow up, that's not the concern here. You obviously haven't experienced manure being spread on fields before. I love meat and I love animals. They're just unhappy cows. Standing in a overwhelmingly cramped pin. Yeah they get feed but there's just too many in there. It's uncowmanly. Would you treat people like that?

Lots of bad comments. I just drove by and wanted to counter the comments coming from uneducated people with no understanding or experience in cattle, ranching, meat production, farming, agriculture..etc...These cows won't be there more than a few days if that. Unless they have a really slow production cycle. These cows lived great lives and when it's their time they get sent here for a very short period of time to be processed.Unfortunately we have soft, jello spined people in this country These days who are quick to judgement without even having a lack of knowledge in the industry. Keep on keeping on QBP there's some of us left who appreciate the hard work and the guts it does take to work a job in this industry.

This place is beyond disturbing. I am currently at the end of a 2 and a half month long road trip, during which I have toured a very solid portion of America. Our country is a beautiful place, with glorious parks, farms, beaches, mountains and more. The amount of free roaming, fat, happy cows we have seen on this trip has been innumerable. Now, picture the complete opposite of that, and you have the Quality Beef Slaughterhouse. This is hell as far as a 'farm' goes. Truly not even sure how it is legal. The cows are laying on top of each other, many presumably dead. The smell from the field is sickening, and everything within a 10 mile radius becomes enveloped in it. It appears as though 10,000+ cows are living in an area that would more appropriately contain 500 cows. I fully understand the need for farms, and meat, but good god there are better ways to manufacture it, for both the sake of the cow and the humans consuming the meat. Shut this place down.

The smell driving past here was absolutely beyond putrid for miles. There’s no way in hell this can be considered a healthy environment for these cattle to live in, it would literally be a thriving cesspit for the growth of bacteria and disease. These animals would be getting pumped full of antibiotics and medicine in order to simply survive in these horrid conditions.By comparing this to other farms saying the smell isn’t too bad, I think this says more about these other farms than it does as a justification that this is ok. Eating sick, unhealthy, stressed animals is not good for anyone.Messed up!

The smell driving by was absolutely disgusting. It smells like death & lingers in the car for miles. I had to stop myself from gagging. The animals are so tightly packed together. It is absolutely awful. That is not how animals deserve to be treated.

I feel so disgusted and defensive for the farmers by the comments from people that have no clue of what hard work it entails to farm anything. I'd say if your going to complain about the smell, first off, get a life and find something more meaningful to complain about, second take a different route, and third ask yourself about your own waste, fourth, your welcome for providing for you.It feels so good to see such successful farmers; living off the land, providing food, clothing, and everyday living items for everybody. To top it off not wasting a single thing from the animal and/or the land. Thank you Farmers and Ranchers.

I just got finished with a road trip to and from Arizona to Virginia and back to Arizona. The first time I drove by this farm it was night time and I wasn’t sure what it was all I knew was that there was this thick gross fog and the most horrid smell I’ve ever smelt for miles and miles. I drove by it on my way back a few days ago and started smelling it a few miles before I came across the farm and realized that’s where this horrid smell was coming from. The photos that you see are not even close to showing how awful this place is. There are so many cows in these tiny pens, they can’t even move. They’re pens aren’t clean, they just let them live in there own feces. There were even piles of feces where cows were standing on the top. This was the saddest and grossest thing I have ever com across.I have seen countless cows grazing beautiful green fields in all the 14 states I traveled through on this trip. This was horrifying.

The smell was the worst Porta potty smell I have ever smelled. Looked like there were a few cows that were dead.Proof to me that buying grass fed beef directly from the farmer is the best way to buy beef. Thanks "Quality" beef producers for convincing this family to order directly from our local farmer and bypass these nasty feed lots.

Firstly, I am a beef eater. Like a lot of others, i drove by this on a road trip. Just do everyone understands, the smell of the place is horrible and it lingers in your car for several miles. If you look at the pictures, the dark ground the cows are walking, eating and lying on is feces. Large amounts of feces, hence the terrible smell. I've lived near a pig farm for years, and this smell was so much worse. I can't believe that the conditions are safe for food production, i just don't see how any animal can live disease free in those conditions, not too mention animals that are to become food for human consumption.

This is the most disgusting place I’ve ever came across! Ten miles down the road and I can still smell it! I’ve been to pig farms in Iowa, and dairy’s all over Wisconsin and Minnesota, all of them combined could not compare to the smell of this place! The conditions those animals live in should be illegal! I’m no vegan, or no peta supporter, but this is appalling! I’ve seen other beef producers and they’re nothing like this! This place needs shut down!

I was brought to tears driving by. The cattle have barely enough room to stand. They are crammed into such a tight space with no grass or shade. There is no justifying treating animals like this other than pure profit. Do better!!

In the air view they dont look crammed. They have room. Yes they smell but thats their nature. Im sure a free roaming cow does not smell like roses.

A lot of complaints I see....but for as many cattle here, there's no foul smell like I've seen driving in California. Good job guys.

Please God help those cows. You would have to have absolutely no heart to have any part of a place like this. I will never buy anything but grass fed beef. This place needs to be shut down. The smell of all those cows living on top of their own feces was very unsettling. I will not soon forget how low humans can go to make a buck. I will never support this type of food supply. With all the USDA regulations that make it hard on farmers, how in the world is this type of operation even allowed? Those poor cows are boxed in and can only gaze at the fresh grass just beyond the fences that they can't graze on. It's so inhumane I kind of feel sorry for what's coming to the people who can live with themselves and be a part of that.

Sick people, the smell is horrible. Thick black cloud when passing through here. Smells like poop for 10 miles. The conditions these animals are kept in are horrendous. They have around thousand cows might be a lot more, and the cows are kept tightly together with no room. Standing on their own poop all day long in the hot sun. Some can't even stand up and look sick. And this is the food they package up to send to our grocery stores? Shame. How can anyone work here without the smell killing them? Sad world we live in.

Absolutely heartbreaking to drive by this horrible place!!! Those poor beautiful cows are cramped in very small areas with barely any room to move!! I've never seen anything this horrendous before! Please please please fix this issue!!! They deserve better!!

Upon approaching this place we thought it was a junkyard full of old, rusty cars. That's how packed, dirty, and expansive it was. We're still in disbelief that these "cars" turned out to be cows.No grass to be found. Cows back-to-back, wading in parasitic mud and knee deep in feces; and we wonder why people and animals get sick. And worse, people are EATING this stuff?! This is in no way "necessary". It's a cesspool for disease if anything and I would never touch any shred of beef from this company if I could help it.Either buy more land to rotate the cattle, or cut back on occupancy. This is lazy American greed and cruelty at its finest and nothing more here. And for the record, I'm not vegetarian. But Quality Beef? That's a laugh. Faith in FDA lost for allowing this place to stay open. What a despicable business.

Drove by and from far away my friend and I thought it was a junkyard because of how crammed in the cows were. They were all laying on their sides in their own feces looking very ill. The smell lasted for miles and was the worst smell I've ever experienced. This is so disgusting to see how this company treats these poor animals and they should absolutely be put out of business. Deserves NO stars
