I just had the worst experience in my life at a dollar general. I have been going to it for many years. I'm 53 yrs old. And too remind ya that I spend at least 30 to 50 dollars a day there cause it's our neighborhood store .Anyways I ride a electric scooter as part of my effort to save the planet and go green. Well I parked it outside by the cart rack due to the fact that I was told I couldn't take it inside behind the doors. By the same lady that I'm about to speak on.So I go in and start shopping. Halfway through this same lady approaches me and asked if that was my scooter outside. I say yes and she said to move it from that spot and persisted to stand there looking at me after I said ok. I said ok again and I said also that I didn't think it was that big of dealThen she was like what you say? Well it became an ugly argument with her even calling out fowl things about my mother who was not even present if you get my meaning.She even came at me and my friend bowed up. We felt threatened by this person.

I’m just gonna say this, it is not like it used to be at the store. The lady working customer service was cussing. She even cussed and use the F word talking to me. I am just flabbergasted and beside myself I left my stuff there on the counter, didn’t even get what I went for. It was just the most horrible experience in a retail store that I have ever had in my life, if something don’t change at this location, Dollar General probably will get shut down soon because this is horrible. I know I will drive across town and use my gas before I go back in this store ever again.

Locals know there are some that hang around this area and are on illegal drugs but at night kids are out vandalizing cars and so on like kids in their teen years do. It is the closest place with fresh produce but many where I live cannot get there since the tornado of August 10, 2023 that was called a microburst but I saw the large funnel cloud and no 100 mph wind can do that much damage and injury. No one sounded the sirens my father had put in this city long ago Bob Winters when he was city and school tax assessor and collector. He was murdered for his money as was my Mother a first grade teacher here in 2010 by evil men and her maid all for greed.I have post traumatic stress from a home invasion in their home with Jody Wade but police here did a lousey job for justice in my family so now we are poor and lost two homes and wealth taken by even lawyers and doctors who lied on State Documents. Justice is forthcoming if not from them God.

This Dollar General store has moved right next door to where it was located. It's now in the old King's Grocery store building. The new location is about 4 times the size of the old location and even offers fresh produce items now. The shelves were not fully stocked when I visited recently, but one of the managers who was working as a cashier said they have more people hired to help stock shelves but they are waiting on drug screens and paperwork to go through before they can begin working.Note: If you get the Dollar General app there are coupons for many of their items, and you can also place an order for pick-up.I'm so thankful to have a store in this area with fresh items again. Good job Dollar General!

This Dollar Store is under new management and is quickly becoming a favorite. The employees are helpful & are super sweet. They've also got nearly the entire store fully stocked & have several items available or in stock, that the other dollar stores don't seem to have.

The only thing this place does wrong is put mustard on my burgers and I never can reach the manager when I have a recipe cause I got 4 kids. So when I call in this order and they better understand hope coustmer is right and they better still have the rest good I live there food bit I am allergic to mustard

The staff are friendly and management knows where items are located. The front section is clean and laundry detergents are neatly organized. It's a dollar store so try to remember that some of the chaos in the aisles are not the result of the staff.

the customer service was fine but the store in general is just always too packed with either trash or boxes that need to be loaded onto the shelves you can't get a buggy down most of the aisles because of it and if you're in a wheelchair Dollar general is totally impossible to maneuver through

This is the nastiest, dirtiest and most disgust store I’ve ever been in. I was shocked at the smell of mole and the check out counter where you lay your items. I ran out of there! Where is the yellow tape close this place down immediately…

Manager and co-workers are very courteous, knowledgeable, and on point! Very busy store! The floors and aisles are always clear of trash and merchandise! Kudos to the Manager and his team!!!!

I NEED THE OFFICE OF SAFETY AND HEALTH ADMINISTRATION TO ARREST THEM FOR HAVING THAT STORE LOOKING LIKE KIDS TORE IT APART. That whole store is a safety hazard. They have inventory boxes in the aisles. Some of which you cannot go down. For public safety Please OSHA come and either fine them or shut them down until they can properly staff that store with employees who can maintain a safe environment for me in there. I felt like I was in the kids bedroom and wanted to tell them clean up this mess. They only had 2 employees present.

I love this store. I went into the one on 9th street. This location is always busy. Some associates are friendly & then the rest act as if you're bothering them. That's the only factor at that store that is not good. Even though it's always in disarray & that is because it is always busy with customers.

I love dollar general, but they keep having issues with the digital coupons. This has been going on for a few years now. They won't honor the digitals which upset me. It's always they can't do anything about it.. So I'm changing my rating to a 2 ⭐

This particular location has been cleaned up a lot over the past several months. It's great yet the employees are not the friendliest by any means. Smiling doesn't cost anything and would go along way with your customers.

Store is horrible. Trash everywhere and and smells bad! Heard tell had new management both store level and district. Best day of my life to see the store STILL looks the same, if not in worse shape . HUGE vindication !!

I was employed there 2 years ago...I worked there "ONE" day, after being terminated because corporate office wanted another copy of my I.D. but I was off that day and they couldn't wait til the next day... will not stop at Dollar General anymore.

I can usually get in and out quickly and they keep the shelves stocked up, but all I get are Lo Carb Monsters and they always have them on deck. Walmart could learn a thing or two from Dollar General

I used this app one time befor and it was the most amazing thing . i had set this thing up and hooked it up to my augzillary cord in the car .Of course I then decided that I wanted to listen to some rock n roll . As usual I had the music up real loud . I was cruising along and out of nowhere my music volume turned itself down real low and a lady came on the line giving me directions to where I needed to go . Thats was so cool . I was able to get directions and listen to my favorite tunes hands free . I give it a 5 star rating all day long !

After fighting 4 tweakers just to get in the door you then have to deal with underpaid and unmotivated workers that check out 5 people an hour. Just go to Walmart at this point
